This company was absolutely fantastic. Tom was quick and responsive with quoting and scheduling, and the price was very competitive for my move. The moving crew of three, led by Bars, showed up on time and got to work right away. What I want to emphasize about the team was that they HAULED A**, which is exactly what you want when you're paying by the hour. They carefully and swiftly wrapped, packed, and loaded up our house. Bars was communicative and transparent about the scope of the move, and the crew was also able to quickly take apart a couple of our bigger pieces of furniture and re-assemble them at the new house as well. I would highly recommend Prime Moving and Bars' team, and will definitely use them again in the future. A few tips: -Let the crew know if your items are going straight into the house for immediate unpacking, or going into storage; they will wrap and pack accordingly because it is a little different. -Let them know how much something needs to be wrapped/how careful they need to be. If you're going to throw out some of your stuff soon, let them know so that they don't need to waste time and material packing/wrapping it. -Like many other services, tips are appreciated for movers. -Prepare some water and snacks for them, they work hard :) read more

Shop around before committing, their prices change then you'll end up paying double of what was originally quoted! I'll spare the details, but there was an issue with Zelle, since they accept it, I used it. It took longer than normal and "Tom" the manager, never received it, he asked me to pay again and I said no, money is out of my account. I had all the confirmation numbers and then Tom just threatened to call the police on me (this was not OK), then stated to his foreman that he's on his way to my apartment at 9:30pm to talk to me (also not ok, and I did not feel safe). It was not a pleasant experience. Moments later he calls his foreman and I hear him laugh saying "I got the money". Never again. Just be cautious and shop around that's it. read more

I moved my 1 bedroom across Hollywood and hired prime moving to help with my move. K and Rashid arrived early and started moving my boxes efficiently. I acquired a lot since moving in my 1 bedroom so loading up took about 3 hours but they also broke down some shelves and took down my TV with a mount. Unloading at my new spot took about 2 hours. In total it took probably 5 hours and 30 minutes. Should be worth noting both my old place and my new place had stairs that weren't particularly easy to deal with so I commend them for that. This company is very responsive. My husband and I went with 3 movers to move our townhouse and storage. Everything was packed in advance and ready for them. We weren't even taking everything in the home. A move that should have taken 6 hours with 3 guys took 11 hours. During the move it felt like they were taking their time. Due to this and the 11 hours it took we paid way over what was budgeted for the move. It was a very frustrating move to say the least. Update 7/3/23: After I left my initial review the company reached out to me to see what they could do to fix the situation. We spoke about an option and they promised to get back me. I have never heard back from them. The actual mover wouldn't stop harassing me, but management ignored me. The mover kept texting and calling me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
