Error #1 - Entry table and Dining Room Table Disaster: Within the first 30 minutes of the move, chaos ensued as Aza, one of the movers, attempted to disassemble my entryway table incorrectly. The situation was only salvaged due to my intervention, preventing potential damage to my glass installation entryway table. Despite explicit instructions and a walkthrough, Aza's subsequent actions displayed either gross incompetence or a blatant disregard for customer property, which led to significant damage to my dining room table Error #2 - Broken Wardrobe Rack: Upon reaching the storage facility, the movers admitted to breaking the wheels on a metal wardrobe rack, dismissing the incident as the rack being "flimsy." This lack of accountability raised concerns about the care and professionalism of Prime Moving. Error #3 - Sofa Chair Mishandling: Aza's mishandling of my large sofa chair, despite explicit instructions to lift and not roll on pavement, showcased a concerning lack of attention. This carelessness, coupled with a near-damaging incident during the stairwell maneuver, emphasized the incompetence of the moving team. Error #4 - Glass Desk Negligence: The movers failed to secure the glass desk properly, resulting in a missing suction piece. Their inability to follow basic moving procedures, along with a disregard for delicate items, left me frustrated and forced to replace a crucial component myself. Error #5 - Entertainment Center Catastrophe: Negligence reached its peak when the movers damaged the glass TV/entertainment center due to a failure to remove the fireplace before transport. The lack of professionalism, refusal to rectify errors, and disrespectful communication prompted me to escalate this matter legally. Hello yelp universe, Wanted to take the time to throw a huge shout out to these guys. They arrived early, worked fast & were very professional & courteous. The biggest thing was the fridge... I don't know how it fit originally, but it didn't fit on the way out. Honestly, it was such a pain, had I known, I would have just left it. Anyways, to take it out, the guys were able to lift the whole fridge to squeeze it out (instead of taking the fridge apart). Then when we got to the new place, it wouldn't fit thru the door, so they took the front door off. Once inside, it wouldn't fit thru the doorway to the kitchen. They took the fridge apart (handles, doors, everything). Not once did they complain or seemed bothered. I appreciated their patience & professionalism. Other then the fridge, everything went fast & smoothly. Not a ding, nick or scratch on anything. They were gentle with everything. Would highly recommend. read more

Getting movers scheduled was quick and easy but that is where the professionalism stops. I was moving out of a small 1 studio apartment, with most of my stuff packed and furniture already broken down. I estimated that it would take 3 hours max. Although the walk to the freight elevator is a bit far, the movers were taking things down 1 item at a time sometimes! What was supposed to be a 3 hour move turned into a SEVEN hour move. I gave clear directions about where to meet at the second site and the clearance height of the garage, both of these were ignored and added another 30-45minutes to the job. I was actively moving things myself and at the end of the day, I was so frustrated at how long they took, they didn't even set up any of my furniture, had to do it all on my own. Would have gotten it done faster with just a U-Haul and a friend. But the most unprofessional part of all was that one of the movers spilled paint in the hallways of my old apartment and my Figs work scrubs. I tried to be reasonable and asked them to cover LESS THAN HALF of the costs of these damages - I was left ignored for weeks and had to call/e-mail them several times. I was then called by the mover who did the damage begging me to reduce the cost or else he would lose his job. What kind of company does this? I was later contacted by one of their administrators who again, tried to guilt trip me into forgiving them of the expenses and then compromised with me for an even LOWER reimbursement. I was promised the money to be transferred to me and never received it. Please don't waste your time with this company. This was by far, the most unprofessional experience that I had to ever go through - not just for moving companies but overall. This was absurd. DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Initially I gave these guys five stars, that was until I hooked up my Tv and saw that I had a crack and it no longer showed a picture. I called Sam and they said they'll help me out but then they ignored my calls after they had Adam try to guilt trip me by saying he and his crew were going to pay for it themselves. I asked if they're insured and bonded why are the workers paying? Well after we agreed to a small reimbursement because I felt bad that the company was going to make the workers pay. They immediately stopped communication with me. Ignored phone calls, texts, and being left on read on Yelp messaging... My Tv is $3800.00 I said okay fine. Just give me 500 accidents happen and then they disappeared. If it wasn't for Yelp Guarantee I'd be out 3800 dollars, luckily they gave me 2500 as a settlement but im still out the 1300. Wish I could have given them the 5 star but after the communication failure and shadiness I can no longer recommend this company. Be aware. It looks like some customers have had similar problems when it comes to damages Updated 8/9/24 after his response. They never offered and sort of compensation and Sam's lack of communication was absolutely abysmal. Also their lack of paperwork to show that they even tried to offer 300 and I denied it goes to show the lack of integrity they have and how the business is being ran. It's a shame because I really liked the workers. Maybe that's why they didn't want to text or return any of my Yelp messages after i agreed to take 500 that they offered over the phone call, that they never paid. They can try and spin a story with plausible deniability. But then again that's why yelp ruled in my favor. If I have to post screenshots of my attempts trying to communicate with them I will. What a shame... everyone who has any sort mechanical aptitude can tell that people who mount TVs don't crack the bottom corners of TVs. All work is done inserting bolts into the slots in the middle of the tv not the corners... read more
