    Pollo, Filet, Arrachera

My husband has been wanting to try this Tacos Los Cholos rip off since they opened. I was hoping it would be as good, but it was not. He was out and about and asked me to order online, he would pick it up and bring it home. You can't order directly through their site (like you can with Cholos) and all the 3rd party apps they use don't even offer their full menu. Lots of missing proteins and options, like quesadillas, burrito bowls, the pizza, etc... I stuck with three tacos and we got an order of chips and salsa to share. The arrachera is my favorite at Cholos, but the one served here is not nearly as flavorful. Filet was fine, but under-seasoned. Pollo was good, although I got one big piece that was hard and gristly, which I hate. The limes were browning and not very juicy, and the radishes were super dry and seemed like they were cut days ago. Salsas were good, enjoyed them a lot, and definitely needed them to add some flavor. I will say the guacamole was outstanding, although the chips were super thick and hard, I ended up using tortilla chips I already had on hand and threw away the bag we got from them. The guac is a large portion, so i'm glad we'll be able to eat it for a few days. This place is just ok, I will stick with Tacos Los Cholos moving forward.

Prime Cut Taqueria is a great new addition to downtown Anaheim! It's conveniently located within walking distance of the Packing House and has a relaxed atmosphere that wasn't too busy when we visited. They offer Taco Tuesday specials, making it an easy spot to grab a great meal at a fair price. The portions are generous, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. One of the highlights was the large salsa bar with plenty of options to customize your meal. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided great service throughout our visit. Between the reasonable prices, generous portions, and convenient location, Prime Cut Taqueria is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back!

We shared the Mexican pizza + chopped beef ribs and loaded fries + ribeye. Very heavy, big portions, and tasty - real guilty pleasure. Meats weren't overcooked or rubbery. Loaded fries would taste texturally with thinner fries. They also need chopped veggies like onions and tomatoes. No issues with service. Decent amount of seating inside. A fun spot to eat greasy food while watching sports on their TV.

The papa loka is my favorite thing here. I order it every time I come. It's loaded with meat, cheese, and butter. I like to add guacamole on top for an extra cost. Definitely worth a try and would definitely come back! The service is quick and efficient! Ambiance is a small shop with a good amount of seating. Parking is a limited due to the area.

I tried their halibut taco delicious and they're steak tacos where absolutely delicious the meat was soft and a generous amount of meat and they came with a yellow charbroiled pepper. That was delicious. They had a nice selection of salsa bar. It was clean service was fast and friendly will definitely be back for more.

    Nachos with carne asada

We were in the area for a work meeting and a search took us to Primecut Taqueria. We were lucky and found street parking close to the restaurant. As we walked towards the front door, we immediately were drawn to the smoky grilled mesquite aroma. The inside feels a little cramped because there were already a few people in line and it was backing up to the salsa bar area. We ordered at the front counter and the menu is pretty simple. Note that there are different prices for the types of meats. I ordered three tacos, with Carne Asada, pork belly, and I think tripas. They come with just tortillas and meat and you can add your own onions and cilantro and any other condiments from the self serve salsa bar. There's a rainbow of colors of different sauces and spice levels. I was glad they also had radish and cucumbers slices, which I love to help cut down the oily grease. I enjoyed the smoky grilled taste of the meats. The pork belly was a little too hard and dry for me though and I won't get that again. My coworkers each ordered the nachos with Carne Asada and Pollo. The nachos plate was huge and probably could've been enough for 2 to 3 people to share. Sure, I'd come back if I was in the area.

The whole experience was unpleasant. When we arrived, there weren't a lot of people in the restaurant. We began by ordering several of their prime meat cuts. However after waiting over thirty minutes, the waitress tells us that they are all out of all the prime cuts. Due to the price, they can only replace it with fish which we don't like, but we agreed to. 45 minutes after arriving, we finally got our food and it was just ok. Nothing special, just tacos. I'm so disappointed that we spent $60 on 3 street tacos, 1 mulita and two sodas. The tables were dirty, the restaurant is overwhelmingly small especially when you're trying to grab salsas.

    No food after 40 mins

Waited over 30 min's for our food and they weren't very busy. Not sure if they had to slaughter the cow or grow more vegetables for the salsa bar, but the wait was not worth it. Several workers just standing around flirting with each other and only one girl seen actually working 100%. Food was overpriced too.

Tried this place today and placed my order online. Went with two steak quesadillas, extra cheese and an Anaheim chile with added cheese. The quesadilla was packed with meat; honestly, it was more like a giant taco, but I'm not complaining! I usually order quesadillas because I'm a cheese lover, and this hit the spot. Can't wait to come back and try more items. The salsa bar was fully stocked, and every sauce was on point. Paid like $28 Steak Quesadillas: 8/10

Stopped by on a dog walk and was excited to see this place open. I ordered three tacos, fish, rib meat and pork belly. Ate the fish taco first and it was the best. I would not order the other two tacos again. Here you order at the counter and receive a table number for food delivery. You then take your tacos to the salsa bar and add cilantro onions and whatever you want. The person who helped me at the counter was very nice and brought water for my dog. When the whole outside is available for seating it will be great because this corner can get hot.

Carne asada burrito w/ Arrachera. Huge & lots of meat

Friendly service & good food. I ordered the carne asada burrito with Arrachera, & a regular carne asada taco. Both had a LOT of meat & were delicious. The burrito is HUGE. Great salsa bar. I love the grilled guerrito chilies.

Primecut Taqueria is a new spot on the Center Street Promenade. They had someone right outside charring the meat so the smell draws you inside. The indoor seating is limited but the chairs are very comfortable. Parking is limited on the street but the parking structure has free two hour parking on the ramp leading up to the second floor. I always love a place with a good salsa bar. Their green salsa was really good and the habanero was super spicy! There's a range for everyone. Today I tried the asada burrito bowl. It comes with beans, rice, cheese and onions. The meat was a little chewy for my liking. I thought it had a little too much fat. But that is my personal preference. I didn't get too much flavor from the rice and beans. I'll be back to try other meats. Their tacos and loaded papas look good. The staff were so kind and provided quick and great service.

Decided to stop into Primecut Taqueria with our family randomnly walking through downtown Anaheim. So glad we did because this place seriously surprised us in the best way We ordered two premium tacos with arrachera, costilla, and pork belly, plus a cheese quesadilla for our daughter. The arrachera is their most popular meat and now I understand why. It was super flavorful and tender. Next time we are definitely getting all three tacos with arrachera. The pork belly taco was also really good and rich, but the costilla was my least favorite. The first one I received looked mostly like burnt ends, but they fixed it right away without hesitation and brought me a new one with much more meat. Really appreciated that level of service. And the cheese quesadilla totally caught us off guard. I believe they use halloumi cheese and it was so delicious that my husband and I kept sneaking bites from our daughter What started as a random stop during a downtown walk turned into one of our favorite Taco Tuesday finds. Everything tasted fresh, the staff was great, and we will definitely be back

I got taco Tuesday deal 3 premium for $10.50

I usually have enough leftovers to take home and have for lunch the next day. Parking is a bit sparse, but there's residential spots available next door and within walking distance (as well as my favorite romance bookstore, Heartbound Bookshop). All their dishes are made to order, so please have some grace and be patient with their kitchen. As I always say, you can't rush perfection!

The agua de melón was delicious, and the side of beans was excellent. We also ordered a plain quesadilla, and it was surprisingly really good. The menudo itself was just okay--not bad, but nothing special. The reason I'm giving 2 stars isn't because the staff were rude, but they definitely weren't friendly or welcoming. My biggest concern, however, was what I witnessed with the condiments. When you order menudo, they bring a plate with limes, onions, and chili. I watched two employees clear tables, throw away some items, but keep the unused onions and uncut lime wedges from customers' plates and take them back into the kitchen to be served again. Even if I didn't use all of the onions or limes, that doesn't mean I didn't touch them. Reusing food that has already been on a customer's table is unsanitary and unacceptable. After seeing that, it made me wonder whether other items, like leftover chips, might also be reused. Whether or not that's the case, what I witnessed was enough to make me lose confidence in their food handling practices. Unfortunately, I won't be returning

Scotty took what was already a great date night and made it truly memorable. Not only was he the best server we've had since we started dining at Puesto, but I'd go so far as to say he was one of the best servers I've ever had anywhere. Scotty had a calm, understated demeanor that was part of his charm. He was genuine, attentive, extraordinarily kind, and somehow managed to keep my Diet Coke with lime full the entire evening. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and was always there at just the right moment. Best of all, he laughed at my dad jokes. While the food was outstanding, Scotty made the experience even better. His service elevated an already great meal into an exceptional evening.
