Mild sharp Italian
Richelle R.

Great lunch spot in the harbor for grab and go. I love that I can place my order online for pick up especially when there is a convention happening at the Gaylord. The primo size sandwich is definitely shareable if you add on a side or bag of chips. My go to is the mild sharp Italian with extras sweet peppers....so good!

Good quality hoagie! I ordered through Uber Eats and did a 20 person large group order and everything was labeled and sorted perfectly. My team had nothing but raving reviews.

Turkey and Turkey & Cheese

Friendly staff and clean inside store. Voted best for two years straight, but not my style. The bread is hard as hell, plenty of meat and great tasting toppings, but the bread is too hard for my liking even with them scooping the inside. And I asked for extra mayo and it was barely any on it. Taste is good, but if you don't like hard rolls, you probably will feel like me. Mother Rucker's (thinner slices meat) and Carls( thicker sliced meat, both use softer bread which I am more accustom to.

Unfortunately, I was not a fan of this sandwich. It did not have much flavor at all. I was looking forward to the broccoli rabe, but they were out, so I subbed that for the roasted peppers. My brother enjoyed his sandwich, so maybe it was just my sandwich choice that was underwhelming. For the price, I expected it to at least be better than Subway, Jimmy John's, or Jersey Mikes, but it was worse than all of them.

This is one of the few fast service type of places in the area. Most other places are sit down type of places. This place gives you the chance to order and go.. There is limited indoor and outdoor seating. We had turkey and cheese sandwiches and they were very good. I would go back here for lunch next time! The environment is kind of like a five guys type of set up.

The lasagna here was packed with layers of flavor. Lots of cheese, meat, and sauce without being overly messy. It came bubbling hot out of the oven which I loved. Garlic bread on the side was a nice bonus. The space was clean and had a warm, casual feel. Our waiter was helpful and had good timing. Solid comfort food all around.

Audie in Primo size.

PrimoHoagies is located in the heart of National Harbor. Interior is not large and I couldn't tell if they were offering indoor seating due to the amount of people waiting for there orders. Primo serves Hoagies of all varieties from a surprisingly large menu, in three different sizes. I ordered the Audie with no dressing in Primo size. When I eventually got my Hoagies, it was excellent and frankly surpassed my expectations. The bread and toppings were fresh and the meats tasty. Primo was exactly the right size. Service is where this location absolutely falls apart. The wait to order was significant as they were clearly having staffing issues. One person couldn't stay the register and continue to take orders, causing the line to backup. The wait for a Hoagie was 20-30 minutes if ordered in store. It appears they lost track of the online orders at some point, as the person next to me eventually had to cancel their order after it was almost an hour late according to the app. PrimoHoagies is also not the cheapest of options. Will I eat at PrimoHoagies again? Yes, but probably not this one.

Great service, great food, fun and friendly staff! My husband and one of my kids got the large sandwich and it was HUGE! But the quality was great too!

Great lunch option in the National Harbor. Flavorful and fresh food. The Turkey Diablo has quickly become my favorite.

For an appetizer, we had the rolls that came with a mustard butter and the lamb bacon. We absolutely loved the bacon and the rolls, but the butter just wasn't good. For dinner, I had the pork chops (which were huge- thick, juicy, and perfectly cooked) but I do wish the sauce was a bit thicker or more pronounced. My boyfriend had the rack of lamb, but when it came out it was a half rack so that was a little surprising. We got the trio of three sides, and really enjoyed the Mac and cheese and the asparagus, but the broccoli with the Greek yogurt was our absolute favorite. We did order 9 oz glasses of wine each, despite the absolute shocking price of $30 a glass. Personally, the dessert menu wasn't thrilled. We were celebrating an anniversary and they did bring us out complimentary macaroons which was super kind, but they were the kind from Trader Joe's so I'd almost say just do without. Service was great! If you want a fancy night out at the casino, this is a good place to go for a special occasion.

The ambiance and decor gave a cozy vibe. I ordered the ribeye steak, along with the amazing Brussels sprouts and roasted maitake mushrooms. We also shared a blue crab cake for the table. Everything was prepared perfectly and full of flavor. I was so busy enjoying the meal that I didn't get a chance to snap photos of the mushrooms or crab cake before they disappeared! To finish the evening, I had the chocolate cake, which was incredibly rich, fresh, and the perfect ending to a wonderful birthday dinner. Highly recommend for both the food and overall dining experience.

The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was amazing, and we had such a great time from beginning to end. Our waiter, Ibrahim, was phenomenal. He took exceptional care of our table, was professional, attentive, and truly elevated the entire dining experience. He walked us through all of the specials -- from the Chilean sea bass to the espresso-rubbed filet mignon -- and everything sounded so good that we ended up trying a little bit of everything. And let me tell you... every single dish delivered. For appetizers we had the Rockefeller oysters, whiskey shrimp and kale Caesar salads. For entrees, I personally had the red snapper entree and the scallop entree, and I also ordered the ribeye for the table. Other dishes included the espresso filet, a Mediterranean branzino along with another entrée featuring crab cake, shrimp, and salmon. Everything was flavorful, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals. One of the highlights of the evening was when Ibrahim smoked our drinks tableside for us. It added such a fun and memorable touch to an already special night. He also took the time to explain the history behind the restaurant, and it was such an informative and meaningful story. Learning about the history made the experience feel even more special and gave us an even greater appreciation for dining there. Overall, it was an outstanding birthday dinner and an experience I will absolutely remember. I will definitely be returning, and if you're looking for a beautiful restaurant with amazing food, wonderful service, and a memorable atmosphere, I highly recommend checking them out. Go hungry, enjoy yourself, and have fun -- you won't be disappointed.

He truly radiates light and joy, setting the tone for the entire evening. Our server, Alison, was an absolute gem--attentive, personable, and on top of everything. The food was outstanding. We ordered the ribeye, New York steak, and filet mignon, all cooked to perfection. The Oysters Rockefeller were superb! I had asked for my daughter's meal to come out as soon as possible, and they made it happen without hesitation, which we really appreciated. For sides, we had the Brussels sprouts--perfectly balanced, sweet but not overly so--and the creamed corn, which was absolutely on point. We didn't end up ordering dessert, but the options looked amazing and tempting! Todd came by our table to check in, which added such a personal touch. The ambiance was lovely, and as we were leaving, Todd walked us outside and spent a few moments chatting with us--it truly meant a lot. I don't eat beef or pork, but after watching a review from Peaks100, I saw that the manager also recommended the seafood along with the steaks. My wife eats steak, so I took her there for that, and I planned to order seafood. Spoiler alert: my wife enjoyed her steak. Now that I got that out of the way, let me continue. https://youtu.be/5uPuX7Fk_cE?si=H7NI2vI_uMWAeREq Appetizer Octopus Ceviche -- $18 I told our server that I didn't want any pork on it. She seemed surprised and told me it didn't come with pork. I had already looked up "pancetta crumble" and knew pancetta was pork, so I showed her the menu. She then said she knew what pancetta was and would make sure there was no pork on my plate. The ceviche itself didn't have much flavor. I didn't really enjoy it, but it wasn't bad enough for me to complain or send it back. Dinner Housemade "Parkerhouse" Rolls -- $8 These came out fresh and hot with butter. They were good. No complaints. Chef's Fresh Catch -- $50 The fresh catch was grouper. The fish had some salt on it and a nice char, but the heavy cream-based sauce on the plate didn't have much flavor. Again, I didn't really enjoy it, but not enough to complain or return the dish. Jumbo Lump Crab Oscar -- $28 Wow, this was not good at all. I probably should have sent it back, but I didn't. It was tough and rubbery (see pic), almost like it had been left under the broiler too long. I took it home with me, but I honestly will probably end up throwing it away. Sides Crispy Brussels Sprouts -- $13 These were good, but somewhat oily. Yukon Gold Potato Purée -- $12 They were okay. Nothing to write home about. Dessert Coconut Cream Bread Pudding -- $14 It was just okay. The coconut flakes was too much, in my opinion, and eventually became overwhelming. It didn't feel very balanced. Overall, I felt the service could have been better, and most of the food needed more flavor, especially at this price point. Nothing was so terrible that I felt the need to ask for a manager, but I also didn't enjoy most of what I ordered. I ordered it, so I paid for it and kept it moving. Also, a 25% gratuity was already added to the bill. Maybe that is why the service was lacking, because they already knew they were going to get 25% "allegedly". Honestly, I don't think I'll be back. There are too many other good places in the DMV where you can have better food and a better overall experience for the same price or less.

Do I blame the waiter? Only partially. Because with what we experienced as a whole, terrible management and terrible kitchen. Update: I don't know how to respond directly to you Ryan but unfortunately our party of 7 was only in town a few days to celebrate our daughter's college graduation. Truly though, the lack of service couldn't have been lost on our server or your mngmt that evening (unless we were just that ignored and overlooked sitting in the middle of your outdoor space) because it should've been made right that same evening with even a simple apology or explanation for the night as a whole by your manager.
