My husband was somehow still hungry after a 10-course omakase, so we drove to Dallas to try this pizza spot. We're not pepperoni people--and probably never will be--but this place is the one and only exception. Their signature pepperoni pizza is a solid 1000/10. The Naughty Pie deserves all the raving reviews it gets! I think the pepperoni is standout and even moreso when it's paired with the spicy vodka sauce. I wish the cheese in the center were spread out a little more, because you essentially are just getting bites full of cheese. I would rather that the cheese is spread out ao that you can have a bite of cheese and pepperoni at the same time. I didn't realize that all the seating is outdoors at this location, but it wasn't bad! There's a decent number of tables and ample fans/air conditioning. As a big fan of the original Prince Street Pizza in NYC I was very excited to see this location open in Dallas. I did decide for the initial rush to die down a bit but I had to come give this spot a try. We stopped in and were greeted right away and the lady working the counter was very friendly and answered all of our questions. For Pizza we had the Naughty Pie, Fancy Prince, and Spicy Alfredo. The thick slices had a rich flavor to the crust and the toppings were outstanding. The thin crust is definitely among the best in Dallas and truly adds to the experience. I really feel like the pizza here stands up to the original and is super tasty. The patio outside with tables is a welcome addition if you have ever been to the original. It bothers me to write this, as I was one of the originals at the mothership location in NYC, and a huge fan. This place leaves much to be desired. Service here is fine, as is the atmosphere. I like how there are some spots on the patio to sit and eat. But the pizza on my visit was not great at all. First the positive -- the crust on the square pie was decent (not anything like the NYC location) and the sauce and pepperonis were decent too. Though it was tossed in the oven, it was served barely warmed. The thin crust cheese was no better than the frozen Totino's variety. The sauce tasted like someone dumped a ton of sugar in it, while the crust was on par with the door mat at my home. Prince Street Pizza in New York has a place in my heart, as it is among the best pizza I have ever tasted. This outpost, however, was a huge disappointment on our visit. Its very busy here and there is a long wait since they make each pizza by order so I highly recommend to order online ahead of time. This place originated from new york and is typically famous for the cupping pepperoni pizza. However when I tried it in New York, it was quite salty and very oily so I decided to go with the naughty pie which had a slight sweetness that helped cut some of the saltiness. The ricotta cheese on it is so good and it almost makes you wish they put more pepperoni on it. The pizza did take around 40 minutes to make so I thankfully ordered ahead and was able to pickup and find a seat outside. Most of the seating is outside and it does get busy but people eat and go fairly quickly so it doesnt take too long to find a seat. I first tried Prince Street Pizza in NYC and loved it so I was excited to see that it came to Dallas as well! This is location has outside seating and is counter order only. Service isn't very fast due to high volume of orders but the workers are very nice! The naughty pie is amazing! Let me start this review stating that the pizza is excellent here! Love the thick slices and all the different flavors. Definitely recommend the Naughty Pie, especially if you are a big fan of hot honey and pepperoni. They also have round pizzas that are very delicious and classic. The rating is not great because the service here is not good. It gets quite busy and when that happens, they don't know how to communicate it well to the customers without sounding unsure of themselves. I came on a very busy day and there was a huge line out the door. When I finally got in, there were like 2 slices left in the case and a girl asked if they were making more and they said "Nope". I up and left because I waited in line forever for them to say there's not going to be any more pizza, yet they didn't tell the people still lined up out the door onto the street. I thought I learned my lesson and ordered a pizza ahead and checked in early with the girl at the counter. She told me 15 min, which I expected. I was standing patiently waiting and just minding my business on my phone and my name was never called, yet people there after me were getting their orders. I just figured that I don't know their process and let it pan out. Finally the guy giving out pizza asks me for my name and then he goes to the back and gets a pizza that was placed on top of the ovens that had been sitting there for a while. The girl knew I was there, so I don't know why she didn't get me when it was ready. I still keep coming here for the pizza, but only make it a point to go when it's not busy. I was excited to come check out Prince Street Pizza. It was a place I wanted to try in NYC but never got a chance to. They have a counter with pizzas on display to place your order. You can order whole pizzas online to be picked up in store. If you go in store you can get individual slices. I got naughty pie, spicy spring, sunset square and spicy vodka. Cousins night out at Prince St Pizza in Dallas This is a popular pizza chain from New York that just recently opened in Dallas. Parking is pretty bad in this area, especially on weekend nights. If you're lucky, there is some street parking available, otherwise, there is valet available. I used my $100 giveaway and we ordered the naughty pie, Houston jalapeno, and the original prince. They have outdoor seating available but there's not that many tables. Once you receive your order, they have garlic powder, Parmesan, an chili flakes available to dress your pizza with. I felt bad just standing there hogging the whole pickup area so I only added the garlic powder. They should add some of those condiments at the individual tables outdoors. The original prince is the only round pizza we got and it's just their regular pizza sauce with mozzarella. The slices are huge and for a simple cheese pizza, this was pretty solid. The naughty pie and Houston jalapeno are both square pies. The naughty pie had spicy vodka sauce, pepperoni, mozzarella, whipped ricotta, and hot honey. I really liked the pepperoni bits, and the parts with the ricotta cheese were really good, especially with the hot honey. However, I felt that the parts without the ricotta cheese were just ok. The Houston jalapeno had fra diavolo sauce, pepperoni, mozzarella, jalapeños, hot honey, and pecorino romano. I'm writing this review strictly in comparison to the original Prince Street Pizza in New York. While I wasn't completely let down by the Dallas location, there were definitely some differences like more seating options. First off, I loved the lunch combo deal -- $12.99 for two slices and a soda is a solid value. That alone makes it worth stopping in for a quick lunch. Be advised parking is very hard to find here, so come prepared to park far and walk if you do not want to get towed. That said, the pizza didn't taste quite as fresh as it does in New York. In NYC, the line is nonstop and they're constantly turning out fresh pies. The Dallas location wasn't nearly as busy, so maybe that played a role in the overall freshness and texture. Favorites: Houston Pepperoni - This was easily my favorite slice. It had the best overall flavor profile and just felt more balanced and bold compared to the others. Spicy Vodka and Naughty Pie - These two were just okay to me. Not bad, but nothing memorable. I like the addition of the spicy vodka sauce, but the spicy vodka was missing meat and flavor. But then the Naughty Pie was too much with the ricotta. They also offer a variety of creative options like the Meat Lovers, Four Cheese, Spicy Spring Pie, The Prince Potato, and more, so there's definitely something for everyone. They are around 7-8 dollars a slice, which I do think is on the higher end, but also the slice is much more filling. I liked the flavors of both pizzas, but I think the ratio of dough to filling is a bit off. The crust is crunchy which is a nice contrast to the sauce and toppings. The inside is small and was very quick to order, we went at around 10 on a Sunday night and there wasn't many people. They have a nice outdoor seating area. Overall nice place to try once or twice. Personally I don't like the set up or the flow of traffic just to get a slice. It's a bit chaotic and it doesn't help that the sound system is pretty bad adds noise to the noise of everyone talking. I actual came on a whim due to all the reviews but wish I had stuck with my first mind and went to Italian express on cedar springs whose owner is using the same yeast he brought from Italy many moons ago. I like that they have squares as an option what was off putting is the use of sugar either in the dough and/or sauce, the burnt flavor of the crust.... Is it suppose to taste like that? I been meaning to try this place ever since it opened. Since we wanted it freshly made, we placed an order for a whole naughty pie. It was so good! The ricotta added a creaminess to the pizza & the hot honey gave it a sweetness. The only thing is that the pizza is very oily (which i don't mind) since they use cup pepperoni. We waited around 20-25 minutes for our pizza. I would suggest ordering on the Toast app, so you don't have to wait in line & just pick it up once it's ready. The place is a little small, but there is outside sitting for you to enjoy your pizza. Overall, I would highly recommend naughty pie. Also, would suggest just getting a variety of slices to try. When I lived in NYC, I remembered when the original Prince St Pizza opened, and it was so good! Fast forward many years, I was so excited to see Prince St. arrive in the neighborhood. I tried a slice of the spicy spring which was reheated upon order. It takes them about 3-4 minutes to serve the slice to you. Unfortunately, the pizza is not nearly as good as New York's. First, it was still cold, and second, the pizza was brutally overcooked - the undercrust and actual crust are enough to dislocate your jaw. The flavors of the pizza (sauce and pepperoni) were good, but I'm not sure why the pizza itself has to be so hard. My friend's slice was equally disappointing. Like most of Dallas, I was super excited to try Prince St Pizza. We tried to go a day or two after the opening but the line was too long. We then went this week and although the line was shorter, it took about an hour to get our food. The pizza was phenomenal, definitely gets a 5 star but I cannot give an overall 5 stars due to the long line and inefficiencies. Watching the staff and kitchen, it was clear that things were fairly disorganized and not moving in a clear, efficient manner. The best slice we got was the naughty pie. The flavor was perfect and we loved the crispy crust. The pepperonis on the spicy spring were also fantastic and made for a great slice. The prince st perfection was also good but not phenomenal. Look this would have been an easy 5 stars on the pizza alone and I know it's a new location and they are working out kinks but my goodness the clusterf*ck with the line and the ordering process needs to be cleaned up. There's a tiny oven that can maybe hold 3-4 different customer orders at a time. So that really slows things down. There were stints where the next person in line had to wait 7-10 minutes just to place their order. When it was my turn to order, three customers who had just got their orders interrupted me one after another to tell the cashier their order was wrong. They fixed all their orders before I was able to place mine. That added another additional 15 minutes (being next mind you) to the already 45 I waited. *Deep Breath* Ok time for the pizza. Going to less desirable to best. The Great F*ckn pizza had potential. The flavor on the ragout was spectacular. But I need cheese on my pizza and it was incredibly soggy. The thick crust flopped really bad when holding it. I wanted one slice of a traditional pie so I got the Green Machine which had pesto and mushrooms. It wasn't bad. It wasn't great. It was pizza. The top 3 though were all top tier absolutely delicious and they're all tied for that spot. The sleeper is the Four Cheese. Just a massive cheese bomb in your mouth and you can taste all the cheeses separately with each bite. The Spicy Spring is a top 3 pepperoni pizza of all time. Very minimal and perfectly simplistic for an epic pizza bite. The Naughty Pie was my favorite though. The pepperoni the ricotta the hot honey with the cheese and crust ..... I'm giving this review 5 stars because I love amazing service. Ashley and Kim were working the counter during lunch and could not have been nicer. The best part was the sincerity and genuine care and service. The 2 of them together make this place a def stop for lunch. I ordered the $12.95 lunch special which includes any 2 slices and a soda. Normally I would get something with some toppings. However, on this day I went all cheese. I decided on the Sunset Square and the Original Prince. I will start with the Original Prince. It was good not great. It was a bit floppy. It was a serviceable piece of pizza that would not beckon me back. That's the worst of part of this review. The best part in addition to A&Ks next level service...that Sunset Square. Damn, I will be back for that. Perfectly consistent crisp through the entire slice. More than enough cheese with a sweet basil tomato sauce that warrants my quick return. I know this place is "corporate" but damn it didn't feel like it. As for the other pizzas I saw, plenty of toppings on each slice. Like a crazy amount of pepperoni and delicious eye catching goodness. In the words of Arnie, I'll be back! Just went on a Wednesday at 1:30pm and still had about an hour wait - no biggie, they're still ironing out the flow. However, after finally getting our pizza, noticed quite a discrepancy across the slices in regards to both size of slice and degree of how burnt the slice got in the oven during rewarming. I'm from NY and although I haven't lived there too long, I've tried Prince Street twice in my lifetime before today. Superior pizza and honestly tastes the EXACT same. I got the Spicy Spring, Spicy Vodka and Naughty Boy. Spicy spring (8/10) - as much as I love this one, the only thing that brings it down is the lack of spiciness and the amount of grease haha. I mean that's given with the amount of pepperonis but I always have to dab off some grease before I eat this one. Still solid pizza Spicy Vodka (9/10) - this one is so good. The vodka sauce is amazing and the fact that it contains prosciutto makes it even better. Like an elevated vodka sauce and without protein toppings it's still so good just as is. Naughty boy (10/10) - I'm a sucker for hot honey when it's done right. The balance with the hot honey and the pizza was just perfect and the only thing I wish it had more of is the pepperonis but even with the amount I think it's amazing. The flavors don't overpower each other and the ricotta on it is just a nice touch. The crust on the pizza too is just so good. Crunch was INSANE. Side note: GET THE NOT RANCH The vibes insides reminded me of a small NY pizza place too.
