This is absolutely the best sourdough pizza in all of Los Angeles! AND, they have a good meatball game as well! AND, cold beers! Wallflour's marinara to cheese ratio down to perfection. Their simple sourdough cheese pizza features a delicious chewy cheese and and perfect crust with a light, airy, and blistered rim. Great ambiance and friendly service as usual!

Fire pizza but a bit pricey. While I found the square slice just above average, the full sourdough pizza was incredible. Complex flavors with good quality ingredients and the pizza was not too floppy.

food here was delicious! We tried their spiceroni pizza and their meatballs. The meatballs were full of flavor and so juicy. The sauce was heavenly - I basically licked the plate clean. The pizza had a good kick to it from the jalapeños and the hot honey. I'm a sucker for hot honey on my pies. There is no lot, so you have to park on the street and it's metered parking. When you get inside you order first at the counter in the back and then pick a seat. It is on the expensive side for a pizza but that's likely because of the ingredients they use.

took advantage of the online ordering options available on the website and ordered the mushroom pizza. we figured it might be a little soggy so we ordered it extra crispy and boy did they deliver extra crispy. next time, i'd probably eat it fresh in person to get the full experience! service was also really good as soon as we entered to pick up the togo order

Great spot for wine and pizza. The sourdough is rich and airates the dough just enough for a crisp but full bite. They offer collabs and seasonal flavors which surprised us. Plenty of tables to enjoy time with family or friends after work. Service was friendly and we were served fairly quickly considering it was made to order. However there's something to be said about the price per pizza. Competing pizza joints easily hit the $20 dollar mark for good reason, but a $30 dollar pie should be atleast 16 inches. I would still come again but I might enjoy some wine or their game nights.

Meatballs: the red sauce was tasty however the actual meatball itself was flavorless. it was soft and moist but really lacking any spice and tasted like nothing without the sauce. Spiceroni pizza: 8.9/10! light crispy crust and it had a lot of flavor with a good portion of toppings. we added garlic confit and it was delicious. their ranch is house made and goes well w the pizza. would recommend to just try the pizzas. service was amazing, they answered questions and gave recommendations! price: just the meatballs and pizza was $72 which was very steep and imo not worth the price. especially since theres no drink options (just some bottles and tap water) and the seating is a little awkward when its packed. $30 for one thin crust pizza makes it feel underwhelming.

    Cheese pizza. Nailed it.

Not too many get the sauce right, but they nailed it. Tangy, flavorful, and got that ring of it right by the crust, you know what I'm talking about. It was also the perfect proportion, not too little, not too much, just right. The cheese was robust, nutty, and a perfectly bold compliment to the tang. They also got the orange glow - whenever the cheese is the perfect amount, the cheese, grease, and sauce meld together to create this particular shade of orange that indicates ultimate flavor. Oh, and the crust! Crispy, wheaty, perfect char, ton of flavor. They got all the elements. This is a perfect pizza, no notes.

The basic cheese pizza. That's all you need.

Wait...is THIS the best pizza in LA? It's at least in the conversation. Sourdough pizza is a big trend lately, but this is the first one I've had where you can really taste it. Super crispy, and the faintly sweet flavor of the topping they use flawlessly combines with the bite of that sourdough fermentation. I'm into it. This could take my top spot.

Really good pizza, super cute place. The pepperoni was crispy and tasty. We got the side of ranch and it was heavy on the dill, but I'm into that. Not pictured but the fall ceasar was yummy too. I'd definitely come back!

Would come back for the best zucchini fries I've ever had! Insanely crisp and an herby ranch dip. Their fall Caesar was also sooo good that I tried to recreate at home.

Wallflower serves up some solid sourdough pizza, and I am not just saying that because I was starving after a hike! I've been pretty spoiled with good pizza between NY and Toronto, and Wallflour is a up there in my ranking. It's a good dough with a good level of crispiness that can hold up a good amount of toppings. I ordered the Spiceroni, because I am not quite over the hot honey + pepperoni craze just yet. However I did feel like there was a tad too much honey for my taste.... It was a bit sweeter than I would have liked. Otherwise, generous with the basil, could use a touch more jalapenos, but now I'm just bragging about my spice tolerance. The staff were very friendly and asked a couple of times if we were doing okay or needed anything even though they don't do full table service. The space is also really cute, and I love the feature wall! Definitely worth a trip!

I have been eating their pizza for several years. I used to order the slices when they were Quarantine Pizza at Sunday Smorgasburg in DTLA. I think its the second best pizza in Los Angeles. Pizza Bianco is tops but Wallflour is in a second place tie with a few other locations. Its food that is fresh made with quality ingredients and wont make you feel fatigued like a lot of the fast casual competitors. Atmosphere is great and staff was friendly. I will definitely return!

This is a pizza appreciation post for the year. Wallflour has been a great spot for celebrating birthdays, meeting friends, introducing family to a new spot, etc. Shout out to the staff for always being welcoming. Shout out to the pizza makers for creating such delicious pizza. I'm thankful for the slices I shared in 2025 and looking forward to ones in 2026!

Paying 20% tip upfront is ridiculous. Doesn't allow you to choose a specific amount. 20% is too much for pick up.

Cocktails are slightly limited as it is not a full bar, but they do have options. The frozen Spritz was very flavorful, more fruit forward and would be perfect in a hot day. The Nonna's Medicine had a nice complexity to it with the flavors peeking their heads out at different times through the process. For food we started with the crudo, mussels and grilled oysters. The crudo was very fresh and had a lot going on with it's simplicity. Just a great bite. The mussels were decent but really didn't stand out in any way. The grilled oysters, however, had flavor and texture, with a Parmesan crust on top and the oyster and juice underneath. Very good! For pizza, they are almost like little personal focaccia pizzas, cut into four slices. We tried the mushroom, pepperoni and white pizzas. The mushroom has a garlic cream sauce and herb mix with Parmesan. You definitely get the mushrooms, as they are ample, but they do not over power the pizza. Just a good blend of flavors in each bite. The white comes with Japanese potato, fennel, mozzarella and pesto. Another really great bite with the potatoes not overpowering everything else. Finally, the pepperoni with spicy honey. The spicy honey is more like spicy marinara honey sauce, but it works. Could have used more of that as it came on the side. The pizza itself, with mozzarella and pecorino tasted great. Maybe that focaccia is the move? Overall, De La Nonna did not disappoint. Everything was very nice, and sitting on the patio when the weather is perfect is always a move. I would say to skip the mussels but, everything else, give it a try!

In the same vein, we stuck with a similar style of food and ended up at Propaganda. There was little to no wait, which was pleasant. It was a nice day and we decided to eat outside. The focaccia bread and salad came out first, and both were good. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread, though my only qualms were that the bread was quite oily and the butter and salt were just a tad bit too salty for my liking. The Insalata Mista salad was solid. Good flavor, good dressing-to-salad ratio, and a surprisingly good portion size. As far as pizza goes, the Margherita was good. Tasty, moist, and a nice crunch on the crust. I found it to be enjoyable, though I may have enjoyed more fresh basil on this. I did find it better than the Boscaiola. I got the black truffle honey add on, and it does not go well on this pizza in my opinion. There was virtually no taste of truffle to me, and more of just an aftertaste of oily sweet honey. This was a miss. It's hard to say whether the base pizza was good without it because the flavor profile was just too overpowered by the aftertaste. The Arts District is definitely coming up with new upscale dining establishments, and I'm there for it. I think this is a solid addition. Though this is a wine bar, I don't generally drink, so my review is based purely on the food. Results of their drinks, which is quite an extensive list, may be to your liking! They do have an inexpensive three wine flight, for reference!

Nice name, but when I see menus of any cuisine that go out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free versions of everything, it tends to put me off. I know that's an unfair prejudice, but I always assume it's more of a healthy food place for people who complain about regular food than a real tasty joint. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. The customer service was amazing and the cashier who helped me, Melissa, was so apologetic and sweet (obviously wasn't her fault), but this is just another warning to anyone who is vegan and considers coming here. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part.
