Very cute, casual interior with a welcoming, family-friendly vibe. Ordering is quick and easy: just head to the counter, place your order, and take a seat. They have draft water available, plus a self-serve fridge stocked with free chilled water bottles alongside other sodas and beverages. Parking is limited to street parking, but you can usually find a mix of metered spots and free neighborhood street parking nearby. I grabbed their lunch deal for $13, which comes with a proper NYC-sized pepperoni slice, a soda, and a side salad. The sourdough crust is top-tier with an incredible crunch, paired with a delicious tomato sauce and the perfect amount of cheese. The sourdough base makes it extra tasty. My only minor nit was that they packed the hot slice and the side salad together in the same to-go box, which left the salad a bit wilted and sad by the time I got home. Above & beyond! OMG I'm so excited we finally got to come to Wallflour Pizza. Wow what an amazing ALL SOURDOUGH PIZZA. All staff members were amazing, hardworking and very nice. We met the owner Carolina and she was very nice and hardworking along with her staff. It's in the heart of EagleRock and nice big space and communal spaces available. We saw this cool chill pizza parlor in Echo Park on one of the YouTubers channel that we like to watch. I must say this place was definitely worth the 1 1/2 hour drive in traffic from Orange County. The staff here were so friendly and inviting it felt like a family friendly atmosphere. We ordered the meatballs which was beyond delicious, garlic bread with cream cheese on the side -- amazing, Cesar salad was very good dressing was also very delicate and faint not overpowering like most Cesar dressing which I throughly enjoyed. The Spicearoni pizza was to die for, the sourdough made it extra tasty and the hot honey added the best kick. I would drive here again in traffic, best pizza by far. Checked out this spot with the fam as it was nearby and heard good things. The restaurant itself is decently sized, but the tables can fill up quickly. You can order your drinks and food at the counter and get a number to place on your table. They do have water on tap, but also have free chilled water bottles in the fridge that's self serve. They also carry some sodas and other things as well. For the sourdough pizzas, my fam and I got the S.P.O.R.T.S. and the California Dreamin'. We also got some zucchini fries and meatballs to share as well. The zucchini fries were interesting as they were sliced wide and almost looked like zucchini tenders. Regardless, they were pretty tasty and the meatballs were also great. Super tender, juicy, and with plenty of marinara sauce. As for the pizzas, the S.P.O.R.T.S. one was my fav with the fennel sausage. The California Dreamin' was pretty tasty for a meatless pizza and had a nice garlic kick to it. Overall, food was great and service was good. My only gripe was that the AC must've been STRUGGLING that day as it was pretty hot inside during our visit. They were playing good, interesting music that you don't usually hear, at a nice volume - enough to enjoy if you wanted and tune out if you didn't. There was a generous amount of lettuce/spring mix with greens you don't often find in spring mix so I appreciated the variety! I would definitely try their other salads. Pepperoni pizza with added sausage - they use Standing's Butcher's fennel sausage. Excellent sausage flavor with just the right amount of fennel. I'm not normally a sausage fan, but I loved this one. The pepperoni were also nicely flavored. The cheese was great, and the red sauce was a standout! This is my ideal flavored red sauce. The crust was light, thin and had good light flavor. Raclette pizza square - the thicker style crust was excellent. Chewy and flavorful and soft. I really enjoyed the toppings as well! Great spot for wine and pizza. The sourdough is rich and airates the dough just enough for a crisp but full bite. They offer collabs and seasonal flavors which surprised us. Plenty of tables to enjoy time with family or friends after work. Service was friendly and we were served fairly quickly considering it was made to order. However there's something to be said about the price per pizza. Competing pizza joints easily hit the $20 dollar mark for good reason, but a $30 dollar pie should be atleast 16 inches. The pizza we got overall was good. It was light, thin, and crispy. Freshly made with fresh ingredients. The red sauce was on a more watery side and you can really taste the tomato, compared to your traditional red sauce you get at other pizza places. However, it was on the sweeter side to my liking. But I know there are many who would enjoy it. They offer a healthier and more natural drink selection over your typical fountain drinks that you get for cheap. I got a lemon flavor soda, which was nice and refreshing. They did have a Coca Cola alternative if anyone wanted coke. I have been eating their pizza for several years. I used to order the slices when they were Quarantine Pizza at Sunday Smorgasburg in DTLA. I think its the second best pizza in Los Angeles. Pizza Bianco is tops but Wallflour is in a second place tie with a few other locations. We came around opening on a Sunday, there was no line and minimal people dining in. The pizza is REALLY tasty and the service is super friendly, but the prices are quite high. $30 for a 14" pizza is a bit high. Public parking was quite difficult but free so that's a bonus! Spiceroni Pizza -- 5/5, I really liked how the tomato sauce, pickled jalapeño, and hot honey went together!! Such a great savory, sweet, and spicy flavor combination. The pizza dough and crust are perfectly crunchy and didn't get soggy on the 20 min drive to the park. The sourdough flavor isn't super obvious til you get to the plain crust. The pizza was good, maybe not the best in the city as many people have told me, but good enough that I did not mind making the drive over to Eagle Rock. Wish I had tried the spicy pepperoni instead but one of my friends has a sensitive girl tummy so we stuck with the original. Fennel pizza did not really taste like fennel at all actually. The sausage was good and the onions were not overwhelming, but got zero fennel taste from this one. The squash pizza was surprisingly my favorite, big ribbons of squash make for a beautiful and tasty pizza. They all had good structural integrity and did not collapse under the weight of the copious toppings. I love me some pizza, so in reading the reviews, I was excited to try this place as it seemed I would be in for a fun and tasty meal...except that's not what I experienced. Walked up to the register to place an order, only to be disappointed in the drinks offered to go with the food. A couple of bottles of offerings and then no ice offered with water when none of the bottled beverages looked good and no sugarless drinks other than warm water. After paying, the only place to "sit down" was a stand up bar counter near the kitchen and bathrooms. It wasn't even wiped down and had to source chairs that were scattered all over the place. We had to clean the counter top ourselves with remainders of the last diner's food there. Not exactly, the kind of dining experience I had expected when I went to dinner with my family. They asked for a tip at the counter, yet there was no service other than them walking the pizza and salad out to me and the person at the register didn't seem interested. As I was eating my food, I couldn't help but be sad. There was one very large over-sized table taking up much of the dining room that sat 10 people and only two people were sitting at it. You had to get your own silverware and the station you grabbed it from wasn't exactly clean. Overturned with dirty dishes and garbage. I hesitated grabbing silverware from that situation. The food came out fairly quickly, a positive, however, the edges of our pizza were really burnt and honestly, the taste of the pizza didn't overpower the burnt edges. It was disappointing considering everyone's raves. The Caesar salad was huge and had lots of anchovies (be warned if you had fish adverse people). We couldn't finish it and it wasn't notable tasting.
