So the pizza here is definitely serious - but the ordering system was a little disorganized. We got this time: Green Machine: pretty good and not the usual Fancy Prince: like a round grandma slice, tasty. SO got: Sunset sicilian slice. It looked yummy and the parts with fresh tomato were great. But because they have the sauce separate from the cheese, the parts of the slice that don't have sauce on them are pretty dry. It worked well to grab some slices here and stand outside on a night we were going to go to an event. We'll probably come here again if it's convenient. The pizza is good, even if 5 employees are kind of standing around sometimes figuring out what they should do when someone is being extra at the register, instead of someone starting to help the next person and get their stuff in the oven to heat!

Yes yes yes!!!! So fire, the pizza is so filling since the bread is on the thicker side. But absolutely worth it and so delicious

Always worth the wait! Delicious slices with spicy that's not overwhelming. You do have to be patient when ordering. Realize it's like NY Pizza places where what you see in the window is what's currently available as there's a chance you have to wait longer or they run out what you have. Great value and amount of toppings is balanced with crush.

I cut the pizzas in half, so only 1/2 of each slice is shown here! Spicy Vodka & Spicy Spring!

We came here for lunch and it was my first time trying out Prince Street Pizza! The slices of the SoHo Squares were generous so my cousin and I shared two pieces- we got the Spicy Spring and the Spicy Vodka. The Spicy Spring had thick cut small pepperoni cups and the base sauce was super flavorful. However, just a personal preference, I didn't like the thick cup pepperoni. The crust was really nice! And the Spicy Vodka was delicious! I would say the sauce was better than what I received at an actual pasta forward restaurant, iykwim. If you have acid reflux, it's said you should try a sweeter tomato sauce to help with the acidity. That's why I'd try The Sunset Square next time to see how it fares! (In comparison to a similar pizza I've had in PB). They also had salad, appetizers, round pizza, and desserts. Maybe I missed it...but if they had lunch special with inclusion of a drink that would be nice. Price wasn't too bad and pizza was delicious, 8.7/10! Would recommend, just fyi, they don't have ranch. But if they did it would be a 10/10 for sure. There's no interior seating and only a few spots of standing area to eat. We ate in the car lol.

With over a thousand 5-star reviews, maybe I'm in the minority, but I just didn't see--or taste--the hype. At $41 for a whole pie, the price felt excessive, even by California standards. The pizza was good, but not great, and certainly not memorable enough for me to justify the cost. I'm sure this review will get buried beneath all the glowing praise, but I'm calling it the way I experienced it. One and done for me.

Love this pizza spot!! Definitely one of my favorite pizza places to eat at for a quick bite. This is a staple after the padres games and it's been delicious every single time. I always get the naughty pepperoni pizza and I can't get enough of it. The service has always been great even with the busy crowds. The environment is usually calm until after the padres games! Overall just an awesome spot to get some pizza and always recommend this place.

First time trying this location, and I ordered a pizza around 1 a.m. with pretty low expectations. I was honestly surprised by how good it was. The pizza came out hot, the pepperoni had a nice crisp to it, and the thick crust was really good. Definitely exceeded my expectations, especially for a late-night order. I'd order from here again.

What can I say? This pizza has me hooked! So happy to see this SD location thriving! Had to have it while I was in town. The staff are so chill and inviting. Tunes were great and the pizza is always good. The line wasn't too long this time around so we got our pizzas quickly. The naughty pie has my heart so that's my go to slice. If you're ever in the neighborhood this place is a must stop.

The line took like 45 minutes. I thought it would move faster but I was in too deep before I realized how long it would take

I still love this place and the service is very fast. I tried the Houston Spring which was just too spicy for me. My mouth stayed on fire for like 10 minutes afterwards so I'm not get it is you are any with a 6 or 7 on the spicy scale

Good easy slice to get with lots of flavor. It's small and pricey though at $7/slice. Could be more crispy and hold it's shape Good for once in a while when you're craving NYC pizza.

Grab pizza from this place twice during SDCC this year. Grabbed a box and walked back to the convention constantly getting stopped about where I got my pizza lol. I was an exhibitor and started eating at my table, again constantly getting asked where the pizza was from because it looked so good! It was haha. I got a vodka pizza and the next day I can back to grab another but added pepperoni. Would give this place 10 stars if I could! Location is quick to walk to from the convention and also ordering online ahead of time saved me from the huge line they had! Great customer service and it's cool seeing all the nice celebrity pictures they have up on their walls as decorations. Will be back!

The Naughty Pie was hands down my favorite. I literally came back every night just to grab another slice, and it never disappointed. The flavor combination was incredible! The little bit of heat with the hot honey drizzle and the creamy ricotta topping was absolutely amazing. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the crust was perfect. Definitely a must-try if you come to Prince St. Pizza!

I've heard great things about the pizza here and I'm a fan of Square pizzas. The crust was firm and airy dough with amazing toppings that don't skimp. The people outside before ordering recommended me the naughty Pie with hot honey which was perfect for a cheese lover. Service was excellent and worth the wait time. The ambiance was overall a very chill vibe. My overall favorite was the meat lover and the original spicy spring pie. I'd definitely recommend this to all pizza lovers!

We came across Nonna's, and since I had always wanted to try it, we decided to give it a chance. The hostess was very sweet and seated us quickly, which was a great start. We ordered the calamari and two pasta dishes--one with truffle mushroom sauce and the other with braised pork. The calamari was okay, but it mostly tasted like breading and didn't have much flavor beyond that. The truffle mushroom pasta had a good sauce, but the pasta itself was very bland. Honestly, the pasta tasted like something you could buy at a grocery store and heat up at home. My boyfriend's pasta was okay as well, but neither of us felt like the dishes had much flavor, and the portions were on the smaller side. Unfortunately, the service was probably the biggest disappointment of the night. Our waiter came over, dropped off the water, and shortly after came back to take our order. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, so we were surprised by how unfriendly and rushed he seemed. There was no smile, no attempt at conversation, or even a general sense of warmth. What really stood out to me, though, was watching him interact with another couple who were seated outside on the patio. He was completely different with them--smiling, laughing, chatting, and being very personable. At one point, my boyfriend politely asked if he could order a whiskey sour. When the waiter brought the drink, he literally slammed it down on our table, which honestly caught both of us off guard. I then watched him bring the other couple two glasses of wine, gently place them on their table, and do so with a smile. After that, the only other time he came back to our table was to rush us to take our plates. I completely understand that everyone has bad days, and I'm not someone who expects over-the-top service but I have worked in the food industry myself for many years so I do expect at least basic friendliness and hospitality--especially when you can clearly see that the same server is capable of providing it to other guests. For reference, our waiter was bald and wore glasses. He never told us his name. Overall, I'm glad I finally got to try Nonna's, but unfortunately, neither the food nor the service left us wanting to come back. There are so many other restaurants with better food, portions, and hospitality that I would personally choose somewhere else for our next special occasion.

Tasty, but too many blackberry seeds coming up the straw. I'd get another one next time. For the appetizers: RISOTTO ARANCINI (a MUST get) - these were absolutely delicious. Four good size bread crumbed fried balls of risotto sitting in the restaurant's own tomato gravy. The whole hostess staff had great smiles on their faces and they were very welcoming. After about two minutes of sitting down, our server came to ask us if we needed time to look over the menu. We said yes but that we wanted a Foccacia Bread table starter. She smiled and immediately went to put the order in. A few few minutes later she came back and we ordered our drinks for dinner: Raspberry Italian Soda, Orange Crush with Fresh Cream on top, and a non-alcoholic spritz. After we got our drinks and sip on them, it took us a bit of time to decide what we wanted. We all know that the burger here is fantastic! However, this evening, we decided to try new things. We ordered: Pappardelle Bolognese with Added Meatballs, Pappardelle Bolognese as it is normally prepared, and a Caesar salad with shrimp added. Our food was out within about 10 to 15 minutes and everything was prepared perfectly. I have to say that we really enjoyed dining in this location and we may need to come back here more instead of traveling to the Del Mar location sometimes. Our server was super customer service oriented and we appreciated her. She went above and beyond to get the orange crush drink to be unique like an Italian soda for my daughter. I love BRANZINO , and I always get them when I see them on a restaurant Menu, but omg this BRANZINO AL SALMORIGLIO was sooooo Salty !!! I believe that this was just probably one of those Kitchen errors for the day and someone double salted it, but without too much salt this would probably be a very good one. I don't usually order Grilled or Fried Artichoke 'coz I have bad experiences with them, always end up with a hard or chewy one, but here their FRIED ROMAN ARTICHOKES was so soft and well seasoned. For dessert we had ICE CREAM pistachio, salted caramel ,cappucino , lemon , raspberry , and it was okay. The service was great here. Other than our server, a bunch of different servers kept coming to check on us too or helped our server to pick up our done dishes. The food here was Hit or Miss, but we're definitely coming back to try for more to discover what other good foods they have here.
