And something so important to me is that they stand behind their guarantees 100%. Rob came out to our house and not only was respectful, but also did something I loved. He taught us about what this issue was with our plumbing. He was sure to be respectful to my wife who was there at the time of the work. They also gave us an overly fair price on our work. Other plumbers in the past haven't been nearly as respectful as Rob was to her. We had a whole house filter issue as well as a leaky faucet that needed a new cartridge. Rob not only fixed those to perfection, he spent extra time at no cost doing a whole house inspection and educated us on everything we needed to do to keep our system running flawlessly. Rob showed up within the designated window and immediately started pointing out things that could be improved and providing tips, really going above and beyond what we were initially requesting his help with and coming across as knowledgeable, experienced, professional, friendly, and engaged. He was very thorough in diagnosing our multiple plumbing issues and providing multiple options for how to solve them (and also explaining what preventative measures we could take to minimize recurrences). We'll be calling Pristine again for future needs and requesting Rob if he's available. The service is not cheap, but you do get what you pay for in this case, with the extra observations and recommendations included as part of the whole package. We've had a number of middling-to-bad experiences with plumbing issues, and at this point we'd rather have peace of mind as long as the cost is reasonable and fair, which in this case it was. read more

Let's just say I had a bit of a situation when my toilet clogged and overflowed when I got home from work. I was in a panic and called a few plumbers and no one was available to come out immediately. I remembered that I had used pristine before and called immediately. They were able to send someone out within about 30 mins. Eddie arrived and was very friendly and walked me through what to expect. The clog ended up being very complicated and required Eddie to remove the toilet and send down a camera. He showed me what caused the issue and it was a year's old collection of baby wipes probably created even before we bought our house (we've been here 4 years). Eddie was very friendly and communicative throughout the process. He put my fears at ease immediately and wasn't worried about going the extra mile to help out. He even cleaned up the mess in the bathroom! He vacuumed up the mess and decontaminated everything with Lysol wipes. The bathroom looked like nothing ever happened! If I could leave a zero star review I would. They stood me up twice, not showing up within the timeframe they had given me. When I called the second time to complain, they sent a supervisor out who admitted he hadn't been in the field for a long time. He did a "routine" water heater flush, and then took me around the rest of the house looking for other things he could replace and spent about 30 minutes trying to sell me on a $6,800 product that I don't need. A few weeks later, I started having error codes on my water heater. Their recommendation was to replace the water heater for $7000. If I'd had hot water and time to shop around, I would've found out that the same job with the same unit could've been done for about $3000. Instead their guys came spent half a day installing the unit and then left a mess with drywall cut out and exposed plumbing under the water heater unit. They had to come back a second day because apparently they didn't have all the parts to complete the job the first time they came. Come to find, out there is a cover for that exposed plumbing that they didn't order or offered to us. So, we had them back a third day to install side cover once we realized that we could order it and also requested a drywall guy to come fix our drywall that was torn up. Now two days later, we try to run a load of dishes and realize they never turned our water back onto the dishwasher. We also have a new leak in the water heater overflow outside. This company is out for your money. They way overcharge and don't even do a good job without prompting and supervision. You have to be a proactive customer and kind of know what they're doing to make sure they're doing it right. Better to just find someone else. The one nice thing that I have to say is the supervisor was very polite and nice the entire time. Just didn't have good work to back up the niceness. read more

I needed to have a water heater professionally installed at Laguna Woods. A city permit was required. I had Pristine Plumbing come and offer me a quote. They were competitive with two other vendors and the person responsible for the quote (Ben) seemed easy to work with. Ben, the guy assigned to my job, was professional and courteous. On the day of the job, he was running a tad bit late and he alerted me within an acceptable time frame. Because he couldn't be on time, the Pristine sent over other members of the staff to assist on the job. That was a really nice touch. I thought Ben and his coworkers did an amazing job and Ben gave me a huge sense of confidence that the job was done right. And I would like to call out Deborah as well. Deborah was responsible for the city permitting arrangement. She was professional and easy to reach. On the day of the inspection, the inspector cancelled and wanted to come the next day. I wasn't able to accommodate a next day reschedule on a last minute request. I expressed my concerns with Debra and she offered me an alternative solution and I was able to get the sign off from the city. WHen asked about permits and inspection they just blame city for the delay. Its been over 4 months. I have dealt with city inspections plenty of times in the past. This is my 4th time using Pristine Plumbing and 4th time happy with the results. I noticed the copper line to my house was heavily corroded and leaking small drips of water all of the place. Within 10 minutes, they got back to me and was able to schedule someone to come by within the hour. The lucky plumber that got to come by in 98 degree weather was Shane. He took a look, drove to Lake Forrest to pick up a copper elbow and got straight to work. After about 2 hours of work, Shane was able to replace the elbow and polish up the rest of the water assembly. What I like about Pristine Plumbing is their attention to keeping things clean. Booties, clean up, and vacuuming is all part of the service. They can be a bit pricier, but it's the ease of mind and professionalism that keeps me coming back. read more

So there I was thinking they had somehow done a great job. The fellows did show up and fix the broken water main. But they incorrectly added a pressure valve and defeated the backflow device. So it is true they did a great job. A great job of incorrectly installing our backflow. Now Irvine ranch wants to shut our water off, and did they come and correct it? No. They gave an estimate of over $8,500 to fix their own mistake. Would I recommend them? Only if your company has an extra $8K plus to fix their incompetence. Which I suspect you will take as a no. Charged us 1,800 to clean clogged upstairs pipes and to add inexpensive part to reinstall toilet after they had to take it off to get to pipes. It clogged two weeks later and someone did the work for 450 which has stayed unclogged. They also quoted me 2,500 to do Hydro jetting (which other companies off for $500 to $1,000). These are all subtractions - hit and miss. Don't use them!!!! read more

He started the process to investigate the problem, and recommended what needed to be done before his team came out. His team of Kevin, Daniel and Justin were phenomenal. They diagnosed the problem and completed fixing a Pipe Burst, Rerouting pipes from a hot water slab leaking and installing a new water heater all with in a day. They worked from 8am-6pm, and completed the job well. Overall, we are very happy with their work and will continue to use Pristine Plumbing. They replaced our old plastic valves and water lines with metal valves. They had two people come and the work was done relatively quickly and for a fair price.
