I do not review much as I do believe in just going with the flow. Jordan was so helpful I was compelled enough to write this. Let me explain my situation. I wanted to place an offer on a property I knew would have competition. I called Jordan to ask if he had time for an inspection of the property and asked if he could perform one next day. He accepted and was there right on time. To add more to this, he showed up without me being there. This is a REALLY hard thing to do when working with someone the first time. He worked diligently until I arrived and was quick to introduce me the areas he thought were to note. He estimates that normal inspection times are typically 3 hours. He showed up at 3pm and did not leave until nearly 6:45. I appreciate the extra time (45min) he took to explain to me the highlights of the property. Would I recommend , YES. Jordan is a pleasant inspector who takes his time to educate his clients about the prospective home. Unfortunately he did not perform an inspection of the shed roof because we found the following damage after moving in (see images) - and this was not discussed in the inspection report or during our walk through. I'm really glad I found Pro Inspections! Jordan actually inspected 2 houses for us. The first one, he alerted us to a moisture problem in the wall that could not be easily fixed. Really glad he was there to find that issue for us. As someone who is highly allergic to mold, this was a deal breaker for me. Very glad I dodged that bullet. I'm a first-time home buyer, so I'm being a bit picky about who I work with throughout this process. After interviewing 8 home inspectors in my area I decided to go with Neil, because he seemed to care about earning my business more than the others. He patiently answered all of my questions, whereas some inspectors were trying to rush me through the call. He even gave me some insight as to what else I should be asking inspectors to ensure that I end up with a real professional. Finally he quoted me at a fair price, about the same as most other inspectors expected. On the day of the inspection, Neil arrived early and had already finished inspecting the exterior of the home by the time I got there. He didn't mind that my husband and I each brought our parents along to help us navigate through this process. He gladly answered questions from all 6 of us, and even walked me through things like how to adjust the water heater. Neil was very thorough with his inspection, taking pictures and notes in each room. The homeowner we were buying from alleged he damaged the pool, which he immediately had a pool guy come out and look at it on his dime. He told the sellers realtor he would obviously fix whatever was damaged, no worries at all. Great business man and stands behind his work! Sadly, some obvious, pretty easy, things were missed-including the fact a couple outlets do not work, the lights on the exterior of the house do not shut off, an interior ceiling fan doesn't work, to name a few. Property is located in Riverside. Very accommodating! He squeeze me in as his 'last client for the day' before heading for mini vacation. I was expecting his report to be done maybe Monday? Nope -- he got it done pretty quick. The appointment was at 1.30pm on Saturday -- by night time, he already done with the report (and I am not his only client for that day). Report is easy to read-- he separated the items into 3 different ways, low to moderate to high (major things that he concerns the most).
