I've been coming to this salon for a number of years. Everyone here is friendly. I've never made an appointment and they can always accommodate me even when they are busy. They have a great list of regular clientele. I only get the spa pedicure but they offer alot of other services. I think it's great how it's always decorated for every holiday! Parking has never been a problem. It's convenient to the grocery store and other shops so for me it's great for fitting in on a day that I have to do errands! read more

I have been coming here to Pro Nails to have my gel manicure done for years and always leave happy and feeling beautiful. Jenny and Mai do a great job and are the nicest people--very honest and kind. I like that the salon is very well ventilated and doesn't smell like polish remover. The instruments are always sterilized & clean and they take care to make sure there is lots of fresh air and light. It's always a good idea to call first and make an appointment ahead of time to make sure they can fit you in to their schedule, since it's only 2 people working there. I drive quite a distance to get my nails done here but it's definitely worth the drive. The prices are very reasonable too. Highly recommend!!! read more

I've been here a couple of times and usually just get pedicures. I get the guy, dont know his name, pretty nice. First time he did my pedicure it looked good. I came back for a last minute mani-pedi recently and I really shouldn't have. It took 2 hours!!! I was the first one in and started pedicure rt away. Went fine. Another girl came in and requested the same, so the ONLY manicurist, a wicked lady they have there skipped over my manicure and went straight to the other girl. I ended up having my feet done & waiting for her to finish the other girl, super unprofessional. She would come over to me in between applying the other girls paint to remove my paint, trying to work on both of us - like no. That's unsanitary. She ended up having another worker do my manicure all together. Worst service ever. Didn't push cuticles back, sloppy uneven/bumpy paint job, didn't even paint the entire nail. Like don't you guys have a license for this? Doesn't seem like it. Totally took 2 hours for a horrible job, never will return & f*** the ladies and tip. Aside from the fact everyone is really nice here, the quality of work is indeed questionable. Came in for a spa pedicure and left with my big toe bleeding from the nail wall being cut with the nippers. I asked if we could please stop the service and clean the area with alcohol. Luckily he applied a styptic before the nails were polished so my blood would not be mixed in. Other highlights: Polish from previous manicure was not completely removed from pinky toes. Same bag used on both feet for callus removal. No toe separators used during polish. (Luckily I had some Kleenex in my purse that I could separate toes with until I could get home and apply an antibiotic and bandage to the cut.) read more

Nail Fail #2 Wow... where do I start, I went in for pedicures with a friend. The procedure started out normally enough with me scanning for the right color. I am an artist with perfect vision and noticed that every single OPI color looked unusually horrible. I finally identified one of my favorite shades by name yet wavered on selecting it since it too, looked incredibly ugly. Kind of like a chola dark purple rather than the knock-off Chanel vamp shade I am used to. I noticed they were a bit busy and being in no rush myself, I offered to let someone else go first so I could go (literally) next door to the beauty supply store and purchase a suitable shade. The manicurist insisted that they had OPI colors and grabbed four dark shades off the wall for me to choose from. I sat down and selected the least tacky color and we proceeded. She rushed me through the pedicure glopping one coat on the other without giving each coat the proper time to dry! She then did something I can't stand which is not take no for an answer when I refused an eyebrow waxing. She insulted me since I LIKE having eyebrows and keep mine as full as possible while still keeping them well-groomed. I am a control freak when it comes to my brows, I do them myself and I always look at that person's eyebrows. Her's were really strange so I adamantly said no. I'm Hispanic, I can't have thin eyebrows or people will be asking "where you from?" while throwing gang signs at me. As this trend continues, with her aggressively suggesting more services and me systematically refusing, I notice another manicurist out of the corner of my eye... I look again in disbelief and horror... she is actually taking tacky dollar store polish and transferring the contents into OPI bottles! I knew I wasn't crazy! I was furious... my transfixion was interrupted by my mani-schyster informing me that I was done. I finally sort of relaxed and went to the dryer only to witness my nails bubble up like swiss cheese. Okay, well, that's what cheap old polish does. I sat there naively hoping that the longer I dried them, the better they would look. Hideous color, bubbles, then that freak (my manicurist) comes up to me practically yelling at me to get away from the dryer. My time was up. I told her "No look my nails are bubbly" she rudely insisted I stop after not even ten minutes. Grabbing my shoes and trying to put them on my feet to hasten my departure. So I hopped up, figuring "Good riddance" When she did the unspeakable, I reach for my wallet asking how much I owe when this freak asks "You have cash for tip?" I said "This is America, have some class and NEVER ever ask for a tip. You have terrible service and I live close by, I was looking for a nail place but I will NEVER come here again!". I gave her a two dollar tip because unlike her, I have class. My normal tip is $10. This place is all-around horrible. read more

Pro: 1.Super Long Lasting nail polish - i think it may be the top coat and dryer system they use. It's not the regular fan. After a few minutes use, my nail polish were really dry and it lasted much longer than everywhere I've been to. 2. Open Sunday! Cons: 1.The shape of my nails were not the best I've seen 2 My acrylic nails were on the thick side 3. Very slight bubbling - if I remember correctly My experience was not as bad as other reviewers. They have fixed one or two broken acrylic nails for me before as well. I probably would try it out again if I get plain nail polish change but not acrylic refill. Worst manicure ever done!! Never again will I go to this place. I was around the area and had planned on doing a mani/pedi so this looked like a good and fast place to get it done. I came in for a manicure, and had pretty decent service. The workers were all very nice and took their time on me, so I give it 3 stars. The lady who did my nails did not rush anything, but in the end I feel like the quality of my nail shape could be better. It's also a bit rough on the edges even with her buffering. My nails also suffered from a tiny bit of bubbling...but I'm not sure if it's due to the drying machines they have. The lady who did my nails was so rough and heavy handed that my cuticles are on fire right now and I've never had to sit through such a painful manicure before. Not only that but none of my nails are shaped the same AND the polish is applied appallingly. I've had to go buy a nail file and shape them myself properly because I feel embarrassed to even have them this unevenly shaped and atrocious. I'm so annoyed I had to pay $41 for that experience because I didn't realise how awful they were until I had driven home. Photos don't do it justice how bad they look. Oh where do I start. I'm visiting from out of town to help friends settle into their new city so we stop in and ask for two pedicures....the decor alone should have made us fake being ill so we could make a quick exit (think dollar store tiki party), but powered through and we sat down in the chairs and started our "adventure" my first observation was a reasonably sized cockroach crawling across the floor! And then I see my nail tech clean his utensils in my pedicure basin (he was very sweet but NO YOU DONT DO THAT).... odd and now I'm praying we don't get a fungus. But what really makes this place fail short is the job they do, my nail tech cut my toenails so short that my French toes look more like "sad toes" and the white looks like my toddler painted them. I'm so happy I was able to sit for 15 minutes and watched their shop pets crawl around the walls and stations I'm sure the roaches really enjoy the tiki beach vibe and decor and I never want to luau with them again. I would not recommend anyone to come here even though the sign reads "relax there's no place better than here" haha, the staff may be nice but it was a terrible job and a unsanitary salon. They should rename this place to "waste management nails" read more

Legitimately thee worst nail salon I have ever been to. More concerned with making money than being honest, when we asked how long until they could take us in after telling us on the phone there would be no wait, one lady persisted that we just picked our colors while trying to avoid saying that they're busy because they only had two workers on a Saturday afternoon. They continued to tell everyone who came in after us that there wasn't really a wait. After I got my pedicure I had to wait 30 minutes till I could get my fill and the whole thing was rushing (how can you mess up a fill?) because they did. They were rough and I left very unhappy with my nails along with my girl friend feeling the same way. Will never be bac and I'd advise people to stay away. read more

Ive been coming to Pro Nails for probably over 20 years, I Love this place! They do such a Great Job with anything you may want, Mani Pedi, Gel nails, Acrylics, and even waxing! When getting a Pedi with Mai, ask for an little extra Massage $1 a minute! Mai is Amazing and very talented with color and designs! I've been here 2x. First time I walked in it smelled like crab...reason being the nail tech had a bowl of crabs out and was eating at the nail station. Not a huge deal (once I realized she was eating crab). I got a pedicure, decent job with a design. They don't have a huge selection of nail polish. Paid $30 because I got that foot stuff that removes all the dry/dead skin. The massage was very quick and I hate that. That's what I love most about a pedicure, the foot massage. Came back a second time and as I was picking my color I noticed salad on the nail station. I guess they don't eat in the back. Maybe there's no space. At any rate, I received a pedicure again and again the massage was very quick, literally a rubbing of lotion on my leg and then a wipe off. Paid $25 because of the design. So normally, I like to look at and pick designs but since the lady did a great design the first time I came, I let her do what she wanted. Big mistake because she did the exact same design. I was annoyed but didn't have time to have her do it again. When I got home I realized she did a pretty sloppy job at that. From far away it looked fine but up close, not so much. I LITERALLY let myself have a few days to cool down before writing this review as fairly as possible. I went to this (btw, totally mistyped "this" with "shit" a sec ago- should tell you something) salon on Saturday morning with a friend who was getting ready for a wedding. We walked in and was seated for spa pedicures and she got started before me as I picked out my colors. 20 minutes after we arrived a customer walked in and started waiting. She asked how long the wait was and they told 15 minutes. Which was ridiculous considering they were just starting to file our toe nails. She waited patiently and I looked at the attendants with total disbelief. Moving on... my toes looked fine, despite that I was done before my friend's (who started before me, if you remember.) Whatever, it looked fine and I didn't want to keep the other customers waiting. The lady started on my fingers and talk about services taking a nose dive! I'm watching her paint my nails and she's rushing so much that she's not painting the entire nail, so I asked her to go back to make sure the sides were also painted - on my tiny little pinkie! THEN, there's cotton shooting out of every direction and I'm waiting for her to pull it off and she doesn't, until I ask her to. THEN, a piece of hair (eww) is sticking straight up off my nail and in disbelief, I'm looking at her like, YOU MUST be joking. Again, I had to tell her to remove it, only this time... a tiny piece is left inside the polish. Rather than removing the paint off my pinkie, she uses cuticle clippers to pull it out and acetone to smooth out the polish. UNBELIEVABLE! It doesn't stop there... I sit under the dryer and 3 minutes later I look down, my nail is bubbling like a witch's caldron. I tell her and she repaints my nails. Again rushing me through leaving cotton bits in my polish and tiny bubbles as she goes. Meanwhile, my friend sits down next to me and got her nails repainted twice too. Same problem. They must have the crappiest tools and polishes in the world but then again, doesn't really explain the not painting the entire nail thing. My toes were a darker color and they turned out fine, I wonder if my pale beige color make it difficult for her to see. I guess if you want to try them I'd suggest using a darker color so the ladies can see what they are doing. In the end, I left the salon with bubbling, half painted nails aside with my friend and the lady who walked in 20 minutes after us. read more

I went to this nail salon only because I had time before work and it was close by. When I walked in all the manicurists were sitting around the tables and watching me as I walked in and sat down. As I was picking my nail polish I could swear they were all laughing at me because when I sat back down they were looking at me, talking in Vietnamese and laughing! Wtf? Speak English if you're going say something about me! Nothing about me is funny..maybe it's because I'm short! Anyways, that was just super awkward because they all sat very close to me. The lady starts my fill like normal and shapes them very nicely...but OMG she was pressing so hard on my cuticles and was filing them with such force. I repeatedly said "ow" and she had no reaction and continued hurting me. I have like 3 cuts on my cuticles now. Aside from that, she made my acrylics very thick and unnatural looking. Over all that fill was DECENT. But the part that makes me write this review is the nail art. NEVER, let me repeat, NEVER, come here if you want nail art. I showed her a picture of what Kind of design I wanted (black polka dots on all nails with a small bow on my ring fingers) she seemed hesitant so I told her if she can't do it that's ok because I know a BOW can be a little difficult (I guess) but she assured me that she could do it so I said ok do it. Dude....let me just tell you...she did the most RUSHED and SLOPPY job and messed up every dot! Like Wtf you have a tool! How do you mess them up?? She literally did not care that much. And then the bow...wow. Both were COMPLETELY different looking and they looked like shit, along with the dots. A 5 year old could have done it much better. And to top it off she added glitter and did an even sloppier job. She made it very clear that she was over doing my nails and didn't care about how they turned out. If you can't do the design don't say you can! I am baffled at how shitty my nails look...I'm almost embarrassed to go out in public. She did not get a tip. I will be going to get a polish change tomorrow! I do not recommend this place. Go somewhere else! From the looks of if, no one else likes this place either haha.
