I am extremely disappointed with the service I received today. The young man who answered the phone was shockingly rude. I have brought my dog to this business for many years, and the older gentleman and woman who usually assist me have always been kind, respectful, and genuinely helpful. However, this young man--who stated he is the owner's son--displayed an attitude that was completely unprofessional. When I told him his tone was rude and that he needed to be more professional, he responded with, "Ohhhh, I have a smile on my face," as if that excused his behavior. It was dismissive and disrespectful. If this is the level of customer service they are now willing to accept, it is truly unfortunate. I sincerely hope this young man learns how to treat customers appropriately, because in any other workplace, this behavior would not be tolerated. I will never take my dog back to this place. Poor service. Her nails are cut short and she came back home with a red mark on her neck. I never put any collars or rope around her neck and they can't say it was self inflicted at my home. I sent her here cause I am currently working in Louisiana and the groomers are down the street from my home. This is the last time I will take her to this place. They did communicate with me but due to being on call 24/7 I got off late and was asleep. When she was picked up I was told by my brother and 2 other people that she looked miserable. I was a little nervous about bringing my golden retriever here as reviews seemed to be pretty mixed online. I did decide to at least give them a try because they are so close to my home and I really wanted to support a locally owned business. They were able to get my golden retriever in right away when I called. The lady I spoke to on the phone was incredibly kind and reassuring. When I got to their location, I noticed they had many COVID 19 protections in place requiring both masks and social distancing. The woman I spoke to when dropping of my golden was very professional and seemed knowledgeable. She told me to to expect him to be ready in 1-1.5 hours. One hour and 15 minutes later, I received the call to pick him up. Upon pickup, I dealt with an older woman who was also extremely kind and knowledgeable. My golden retriever looked and smelled great, he also did not seem stressed or upset in the slightest when they brought him to me. The price was around $100 which was more than reasonable considering how overgrown my golden was. My only complaint would probably be that they did not trim enough off of his ears. However, for his first time, I would much rather them be conservative when cutting his fur then taking off too much. Overall, I am more than satisfied on their grooming job considering how wild my golden's coat was when we arrived. I will definitely be going back. read more

I wish I could rate this place a 0! I first brought my dog to them a few months ago and gave them specific instructions to not cut the dogs chest hair. When I picked him up, the chest hair had been cut! They apologized, gave me a tiny discount and asked for me to give them another shot. Fast forward to today, I reminded them of the mishap that happened the first time, and again gave them specific instructions to not cut off my dogs mohawk and what do they cut off, the Mohawk, which we had been growing out for two years! Extremely poor customer service. I should have taken the advice of the other multiple reviewers who have had an horrible experience at this business. The website states that the business is open until 3 p.m. on Saturdays. When I called to make the appointment, I was advised by the woman whom I believe to be the owner, to have my dog to her facility by 11:30 a.m. I dropped my dog off at 11 a.m. on Saturday and then recieved a call at 12:22 p.m. that she was finished grooming my dog, and because it was slow that day ,and she had no more dogs to groom - I needed to immediately pick my dog up by 12:30 p.m. (in less than 10 minutes); because she was leaving. I advised the owner that her hours state that she was open until 3 p.m.; and that I was 30 minutes away from her facility; but that I was immediately on my way. The owner then threatened that if I didn't get there by 12:30 p.m., she would be gone, and that my dog would be locked in her facility until she opened on Monday. The owner then threatened to charge an additional fee, for locking my dog in her business until Monday. Quite obviously, I drove as fast as I could to retrieve my dog; and I didn't make it to her business until 12:54 p.m. Despite her threats to leave at 12:30 p.m., thank God the owner was still there, and that my dog would not be locked in her business for the remainder of the weekend, as threatened by the owner. Needless to say, I will never bring my dog back to this facility again; and I strongly advise others from doing so. I hope this business treats the animals better than it treats actual people...their customers. I'm just glad my dog is physically okay (as far as I can tell at this moment); and I feel very guilty for dropping her off to be groomed there. I just pray my dog was not treated poorly by these people. I will be escalating this issue to the appropriate business licensing authority. read more

I dropped my puppy off for an overnight stay on a Friday morning. I was told they would be closing at 3:00pm on Saturdays. I was out of town and arrived back at 2:00 and went straight to their facility. I was surprised to find the doors locked and the lights off. I called their phone number several times, but never got an answer. I was eventually informed that they left early at 1:00 after their last appointment. I never received a call informing me they were planning on closing early. I only packed enough food for Friday night and Saturday morning. My puppy had no food and no water. They offered to let me get my puppy Monday Morning at 7:30. My puppy had to endure two days without food, water, and unable to relieve himself outside of the kennel. They don't follow the hours on their door nor the hours listed on their website. Obvious they don't care about the animals in their care. What kind of pet facility would leave puppies caged for a whole weekend with no food and water? I wish I could give a 0 rating. read more

For a place that advertises as grooming show dogs, you'd think they'd have a nicer presentation. The building was stuffy and dark when I arrived to pick up my dog. Paint is peeling, everything looks old. The floors are gross. Shop vac was just sitting around. The kennels look gross. I won't be bringing my dog here again. My wife took our puppy in to get groomed, everything seemed fine until they called her to pick up our puppy because she was "ready". When my wife got their they tried giving her two different dogs, my wife told them that was not our puppy. They finally realized they gave our puppy to some other customer and he had already left with her.. My wife called me so I could speak to them since she does not speak spanish, the man told me that his grandma had accidently given her to the wrong customer and she was so sorry and she had already called the guy to come back with my puppy, my wife waited an hour until the guy got back when I told my wife to let me speak to he lady again so I could tell her I didn't feel like I should pay anything due to the HUGE INCONVENIENCE OF HER LOSING MY DOG, she flipped and started getting upset and racing her voice, I finally just told my wife to just pay because we were not gonna get anywhere. So my wife paid with her card but did not sign the receipt and walked out.. The man and "grandma" ran outside and followed her to the car while my wife was putting our baby in her car seat the guy was behind her very persistent to sign the receipt, my wife felt harassed and scared the lady was banging on her windows telling her to sign and the guy was standing behind the car not letting her leave, my wife told them she was gonna call the police if he did not move, when he finally moved my wife called my sister and told her what happened, my sister called the place and she could hear a police officer yelling at them for calling the police and wasting their time since my wife did pay and they had a receipt showing she paid, The Grandma (I am guessing she is the groomer) was so unprofessional and yelling and having such an aggressive tone towards my wife, I feel like she felt she could act that way because my wife did not know english and could not defend herself..WHAT KIND OF PLACE GIVES YOUR DOG TO A STRANGER.. When we first walked in, we should've walked out as soon as we say the display of the place. It was very stuffy and dark. We offered to show records of his shots, but the man said no that we didn't need to. Weird. When we came up to pick up my Shih Tzu (they didn't call us, I had to call in and they said he's been ready(?)), he looked scared and nervous. They cut was done well, but he looked as if he had been in pain. For the next few days, my very active puppy was quiet and looked hurt. I was worried that they even hit him or used something to calm him down. He was very nervous when brought in and I guess it made the grooming process harder. I have been taking my two Scottie dogs here for years because they are both difficult to manage. My ten year old was rejected from two previous groomer and it wasn't until she was one year old that I met Mr. Charles and family. I liked from the beginning that I when I dropped her off, she was ready, usually in less than two hours; slightly more on a busy day. For years going to the groomers was an eight hour ordeal for our dogs, not here. My boy is four and even I am scared to brush him, but Mr. Charles knows how to handle dogs. I have asked him more than once if the Boy was difficult for him. No. Why? Because Mr. Charles has experience; he is a professional. My dogs have never come back hurt in any way. This morning, they actually rushed to the door. They have never been traumatized. Maybe the previous ratings were exceptional circumstances, but one bad apple shouldn't spoil the barrel. I will still continue my association and recommendation. I gave one star less because, okay, the front lobby is not a showroom, but that doesn't matter when handling a dog.
