I received my dress and there were still safety pins on it and the length was untouched and by the time I found out it was already too late so I walked down the aisle with an obviously unaltered dress. Here's what I do: I buy a good suit at a Zara or Banana Republic sale for $200. I take it to this lovely couple and have it fitted (not just cuffs and sleeves, they taper the legs and tighten the silhouette of the jacket--I'm a slim guy) for $150. So for $350 bucks I have what looks like a $1000 bespoke suit. I've had three suits done over the last few years, linen and wool. Word of advice, though: a lot of people love them as well, so take in your items a couple of weeks before you need them! read more

My wedding dress is destroyed! I particularly asked her to remove the blouse pads she promised she will remove and change and she left them on. She always complained the dress is super hard! She charged 5 times more and asked all in cash all paid but she still destroyed my dress. I went back and told her she needs to fix it. She was super negative! Always bad comments! This place is run by the sweetest older couple who really cares about their customers & business. I had to bring in a bridesmaid dress that I custom ordered with my measurements but was wayyy too big. With timing, my only option was to get it altered locally. I was nervous about how it would turn out because I knew they had to put in extra work since it wasn't well-made. The dress came with zero grip & structure even though it's a strapless. However I just had my dress fitting today and they did an AMAZING JOB. They added some wiring on the torso to give it structure and gripper tape to prevent it from slipping down + completely altered the dress to fit. Really impressed with their work (: They still need to make a small adjustment around the waist so I'll edit this post with a final photo once that's done. Moral of the story: 1) Don't order a cheap bridesmaid dress because you will most likely have to pay more for the alterations than for the dress itself. 2) Professional Tailor works magic and I highly recommend this place! read more

I bought a corset bodysuit that had fit everywhere, but the chest area. Due to the boning, princess seams, and Japanese satin, it was a complicated and difficult request to size down only around the chest. I even had another tailor decline the alteration request given how difficult it'd be for him. I went to Professional Tailor afterwards and they readily accepted the job for what felt like a very affordable price as well. While acknowledging it would be complicated, they assured me they'd be able to make the alteration without much issue. A week later, I went back to pick it up and the fit was absolutely perfect! You can tell she has a lot of experiences with wedding gowns. I'd had one visit prior with my bridesmaid gown and the experience was extremely smooth, so I came back again now for my wedding :).
