Called in for an appointment towards 12pm. Was booked in for 1pm because my car needed fender rolling @ the rear. I arrived @ 1pm on the dot, waited an hour (2pm) to questioned their delay. Their pseudo response bought them time, until 2:45pm was when Project Imports started on my car. Customers' time is a priority, but Project Imports had a blind eye. Their job was performed excellence, because the vehicle was lifted multiple times & tested to make sure the rear does not rub, but do not waste customers time (105min). I'd definitely recommend project import. Cuban was super helpful and is very knowledgable. I recently purchased a used 2010 370z and wanted to make sure the car was running well mechanically. The drivers side control warm ball joint was loose so they diagnosed the issue and now the steering feels tight and precise. They also found a leaking power steering pump and got that replaced too. Project import your place for imports, after two weeks of looking for a place to install my coilovers on my Veloster I found project import with YELP. I can honestly say these guys know what they are doing great service and great customer service. coilovers installation and alignment came out to a total of 400 flat, quality work. 400 may seem a lot to some but other shops were charging 600 plus to 2,000. 400 was a great price, I'm definitely coming back for my car needs! read more

These guys are great. I went there with my buddy to find parts for his FR-S and I mentioned the fact I wanted to get a Bride Zeta III Type S and a set of Takata harnesses for my G35 Coupe. Brian overheard me and told me he could help find a seat and harnesses for me. I agreed and he kept me informed on where we were at in the ordering process. He later informed me that the Type S would be a little short for me and helped me find the right size. He also told me the safest way to run my harnesses and made sure I was going to be secure in my car. During a road trip from Dallas, Texas I encountered a problem with my Toyota Tundra. I stopped in at a local dealer to find out what was wrong. The dealer told me I had a bent axles and would have to have both replaced. I did some checking around and found the guys at Project Import. After talking to one of their mechanics they took a look at my truck. They found that my axles were not bent and did not need to be replaced, but the bearings were worn out and would have to be replaced. (the cause of the problem) Big relief! While there I decided to have my shocks replaced at the same time since they saved my vacation from financial disaster. This place kept giving me a different date for my order to arrive. I placed an order and was told it'll get there in a week, after the first week I was told it won't get there till next week. Long story short a week turned into four weeks and now today I was told that the exhaust I ordered was on back order all of a sudden. I have a 2008 Acura TSX which had a bad 3rd gear syncro, creating the 3rd gear grind. I never had any major repairs in my life so I wasn't really knowledgeable and didn't know which mechanic to trust. I Google searched tuning shop and they were the first result. I called them and just described the symptoms of the car and they were confident what was wrong with my car based on my description. I worked with Johhny and Gilbert who were extremely professional and savvy. They explained to me what could be possibly wrong based on their experiences and offered to look at it for free. They gave me a fair estimate and broke down all the cost in an email quote. I felt like I could trust them and know that they would do a great job. They guided me with what exactly was going to be done and the time frame with updates via phone and email. They gave me recommendations on what I need and what I don't need. I ended up getting a transmission rebuild and a new clutch with new bearings. They did a great job and my car feels like a new car. They backed it up with a 1 year warranty and even sent me pictures of the status' of the car during the repairs (images of my transmission, the parts, etc). They also gave me the old parts to show how worned/damaged they were. They provided a break down of all the services performed and the parts they replaced on a pdf to summarize the service. All in all, I was very satisfied and the price was fair because they did real quality work and service. I defiantly recommend them to anyone. read more

I stumbled to this place by accident when i needed to get a quick fuel pump to go with my turbo'd 07 civic a few years back. They are very educated, friendly, passionate and honest people. Pricing is firm...few parts u can get cheaper somewhere else, some parts u can't, however, with their knowledgeable staff, great work ethics, and always updated on the newest parts be it oil or triple ball bearing turbo's....you cannot stump these guys. I don't mind paying a lil more because they will take care of your car as if it were theirs. Money can always be replaced, but craftsmanship and dedication cannot. I can't imagine going to anyone else I drive an 07 nissan 350z and it took me awhile to find someone I trusted with my car after the last experience I had with a mechanic that just didn't give my car the tlc she deserved. Guys were responsive and made every effort to accommodate you. I got some tuning done and explain in which order my car will be worked on. I was able to drop it off before work and pick it up at 5. my car now drives smoother. I like the fact they dont discriminate on make model or year of the car nor your mods.
