I ended up getting the Hot & sweet chicken ($7.99) which came with about 10 wings. Maybe I should have gotten the wings to order, since I wasn't impressed by these wings. They weren't crispy at all. Instead they were mushy and the coating was soggy. Probably from sitting under the heat lamp. I will give them another shot though since the other types of chicken also looked amazing! There are 5 booth style tables for in-house dining, but when I was there, they all had people sitting who were waiting for their food to go. One table had a few cups on there, which ended up to be an employees who cleared it out for us. Unfortunately, it was right by the register which had two young men, the same people who took our order. Since the place isn't all that big, it meant hearing their conversation, which had a lot of profanities and it made the person I was with uncomfortable. It took about 15 minutes for our wings. Flavor itself is still good and the spaghetti noodles aren't overcooked, which I'm happy about. I like coming here because I can shop at the mall (Serramonte) and eat some yummy food when I get hungry from shopping. Parking is convenient since there's mall parking lot parking. I remember when this Jolibee location use to be a Vietnamese restaurant selling Pho. I had to try their spaghetti and cheeseburger. The spaghetti was a bit sweet and the sauce tasted like Chef Boyardee spaghetti with bits of sliced hot dogs with fresh noodles. It was a bit saucy and cheesy but it was nostalgically tasty. I then had to try the angus cheese burger. It had a savory taste and I actually like it better than most of the burgers at the current Mc Donald's. I had to also try their purple yam pie also known as Ube . The pie reminded me of the old school McDonald's pie and it had a tasty Ube flavor. Then I had to try their peach mango pie which was a bit sweet.It was worth crossing the San Mateo county border.
