Fried Chicken Breakfast Sandwich - Fried Chicken on a Toasted Croissant Bun, Over-Easy Egg, American Cheese, Pickles, and Ranch
    Mike L.

To be honest, I'm surprised the reviews for this place are so low! Not that I ever expect to be amazed by an airport eatery (though, a spot at SFO would probably have the best chance), but, in my experience, Proposition Chicken has typically been pretty solid. So, in search of something to eat for breakfast before our flight, coming here felt like a pretty safe bet! While the dining options in Terminal 3 actually aren't too shabby, our options around the food court felt relatively slim - typical coffee shop pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and breakfast plates. However, even if we had more to choose from, the menu here looked far too interesting to resist. Given my familiarity with, and fondness for, both their fried chicken and rotisserie chicken, getting to try both as part of a breakfast sandwich sounded like a rather promising way to start the day! -- FRIED CHICKEN BREAKFAST SANDWICH - Fried Chicken on a Toasted Croissant Bun, Over-Easy Egg, American Cheese, Pickles, and Ranch...$13.99 This was great! Even with the sauce and everything on top, the batter was crispy and the chicken itself was quite juicy. As for everything else, the bun was nicely toasted yet still fluffy and the egg and cheese were good. -- FLIPPED BREAKFAST SANDWICH - Rotisserie Chicken on a Toasted Croissant Bun, Over-Easy Egg, American Cheese, and Ranch...$13.99 Not quite as tasty as the fried version, but still pretty good. Although I liked how flavorful and moist the chicken was, I wish the pieces were bigger, as they kept falling out. Also, this one felt a little heavy on the ranch. Along with how decent everything tasted, the other thing that I liked was how (relatively) quick our food came out. Even with a number of groups ahead of us, the kitchen was quick to get orders out (can't say how it is during lunch/dinner, though). The biggest knocks? Their prices are higher than at their other locations, which is expected given that it's the airport, and their coffee, which wasn't that strong and tasted rather generic. However, for what and where they are, Proposition Chicken isn't too shabby for a quick bite while you're here! THREE AND A HALF STARS rounded up.

If you want a great sandwich in the airport, the super breakfast sandwich (fried chicken, pickle, fried egg and cheese) is the way to go. Very delicious (note: I was very hungry so I'm probably weighting this heavily). The bbq sauce is not typical bbq sauce, went well with the sandwich but was unneeded. I had fries too which were fine. The house dipping sauce was pretty good. I'm not really going into price. It's an airport. In San Francisco. You pay. The sandwich cost the same as the warm grab and go market in the airport so I'll say it's a fair deal

This is a bustling place and I love that you can order on a kiosk and service is fast! I ordered a piece of chicken and potato wedges and Coke Zero. Waited for 5 mins for the freshly cooked chicken. It was pretty good, can't complain. Check them out, at the F gate food court! Definitely recommended.

Standard airport food stall ambiance. Food was expensive but came out fresh and the fries were delicious. I also could have easily shared this meal with someone which would have made it more cost effective. This was my first time trying proposition chicken so I got the house sauce and ranch (both for an additional $1 each) and if I came again I would skip the house sauce. I ordered on the screen in-front of someone and the worker was nice and quick to get me my food. If you're looking for somewhere to eat in this food court I would recommend the Greek place right next to this but if you are seriously craving chicken this place is just fine. Nothing to really rave about but easy to share and quick.

A decent option relative to the other restaurants in the vicinity. I got the chicken tenders which was good. Staff seemed friendly and attentive.

Airport food and what do you expect? Thought chicken would be safe to order, how would you go wrong? But chicken tasted very bland. Not a hint of salt. Sometimes it makes me wonder how much the cost is to make food taste a notch better. But I have to compliment them for letting me choose which part I prefer. The coleslaw was even worse. Taste is not even close to what it's called.

Do not I repeat do not eat this chicken if I could I would rate it 0 stars had it before my flight to Florida it was the only thing I had eaten all day was super hungry the chicken was alright at best sauce was super liquidly but that's besides the point I don't how long that chicken was sitting there but it's must've been a long time. By the time I got to my hotel I was feeling a little funky didn't know what it was from my stomach was pretty upset thought maybe I just had to use the bathroom so I went to the toilet and then got some diarrhea while I was on the toilet having diarrhea I had the sudden urge to throw up so I grabbed the trash can and started projectile vomiting into it and I started to have a fever and chills as well. I managed to go to sleep eventually only to wake up again and projectile vomit again. Do not eat here I am not making this up would like to save any of you the defeating feeling of having to vomit and not being able to do anything about it.

    Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich

Ooh, did not check the reviews before coming here. Was in a rush in the morning and grabbed an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I expected chicken in this thing even though it didn't say it on the menu - guess my brain wasn't awake yet. The sandwich itself - warm soft bread, a runny egg, and a slice of melted cheese. It was actually quite tasty except I thought I was eating a filet-o-fish sandwich. No, there wasn't fish in the sandwich, but the sauce was like tartar sauce and it threw me for a complete loop. If I were to come back, I'd probably add bacon and then see what other sauce options were available. Maybe they have something more like an aioli? I wouldn't recommend the default sauce.

    Buttermilk Ranch Breakfast Sandwich
    Allie G.

Not quite as bad as the other reviews say, but this place is definitely mediocre! I ordered the Buttermilk Ranch Breakfast Sandwich with the house sauce on the side. The side sauces do cost extra, but the house sauce was fully worth it. It took about 10 minutes for my food to be ready (make sure you actually check that all your items/sauces are there), and I took it to a table in the food court since I wasn't in a rush. The sandwich was very hot and messy to eat, so I ended up having to eat it in parts. I did like the chicken itself, as well as their ranch sauce. The bread was just ok (very greasy) and the egg wasn't runny at all. Overall, it wasn't terrible, but I would probably try elsewhere next time I'm at the airport.

    Chicken sandwich ($16)
    Greg W.

$16 for a small chicken sandwich. Definitely checks the box for overpriced airport food. The menu pictures deceived me into wondering if the sandwich size was so large that I'd need to be concerned about whether or not I could finish it. The chicken sandwich was ok besides the size. It was a good piece of chicken, though a little dry. Not quite as moist as it could've been. The slaw on the sandwich was a good blend of sweet, savory, and creamy. It balanced the chicken nicely.

Chicken sandwich- $12 , add fries for $3.99

Really not worth $14 for a sandwich. Small portions and really doesn't taste good. Eat somewhere reliable at SFO

There were plenty of tables by the windows looking out at the willow trees and I was happy to snag a spot in the sun. Even though the parking lot right outside was full, there were plenty of spaces in the big lot across the street. I will note that the large lot was completely full by the time I left at 11 am though. I ordered an iced chai latte with oatmilk ($7 after tax) and I thought it was so sweet that the server brought my drink when it was ready. I also appreciate when cafes don't charge extra for alternative milks. The WiFi was fast and easy to connect to, with no password like other folks mentioned. Although the drink was nothing extraordinary, I was happy to have such a pleasant space to work in. I would definitely come back to do remote work if I ever needed a space that is reliable and comfortable.

Parking is quite limited but there is a huge parking lot across that's free. The restroom for women was very clean and beautiful. The doors for the restroom were fully closed with no space for somebody to take a peek. They also have a basket full of free tampons and pads (even pads meant for a heavy period), which was very thoughtful of them to add! There's also a lot of seats so you don't have to worry about that. Most tables came with a plug in on the floor but I found that the tables near the big window didn't have one. Maybe it was just mine though. I ordered a hot chocolate w almond milk and 2 shots which came out to be $10.16. It tasted very standard and not good at all. I don't think it's worth the price since the drink was very mediocre. Service is great though! It started to get busy around 11pm for their lunch menu I believe. There's one area meant for a large group of people to dine. It'd be a great space for meetings or just a large gathering. I think I also saw a table at the back near the restrooms that can be used but I'm not too sure. Overall, good studying place with its amazing natural lighting and pretty weeping willows to look at!

The restaurant has a full bar and dining area. The place has the feel of a family Italian restaurant. It is quaint and comfortable. We both ordered the calamari steak which came with both soup and salad included. The soup was a minestrone - 9/10 - which was delicious, hearty, and felt like it was simmering all day. I think I could've easily just eaten the soup and salad and would have been very happy. The house salad - 8/10 - had a wonderful homemade Italian dressing. This was the best house salad I have ever had. Calamari steak - 7/10 - this was cooked very nicely and was piled high with garlic. The garlic wasn't overpowering at all and mixed well with the tartar sauce. The mash potatoes - 8.5/10 - were amazing and creamy. The menu had a wide variety of dishes. Given how good everything we had was, I would guess everything on the menu is likely just as good. Last but not least our server Audrey was great. She was attentive, pleasant, always there when we needed something, but never there too much. Audrey made the whole experience just that much better. I would highly recommend.
