Food was good but the service was even better! I ordered the C5 for delivery and the driver delivered it within 20min. The driver was in a panic because the pho spilled all over the bag (she claimed the restaurant didn't lid it properly) and said she'll go back to get this fixed.. I called the restaurant to let them know of the situation and they agreed to replace the order... 5 min later i received a call from them apologizing for the inconvenient and was offered a free appetizer. My daughter and I always go there for dinner. They have the best grilled pork spring rolls. Their pho and Thai tea are good, too! The service is always friendly: our waiter knows exactly what we want to order. We also buy grilled pork and rice for my husband and son who are usually watching a sports game on tv at home. I heard about this place from a friend who was very pleased with what she ordered. I, of course, had to try this place myself and see what the hype was about. When we got there, we had to wait for a while to order our drinks- long enough that when the waiter came to ask us what drinks we wanted we were ready to order our food. I got a vermicelli with grilled chicken, egg roll, and shrimp. Some of the chicken had a weird taste and texture. They only gave me two pieces of shrimp. The egg roll's pretty similar to the frozen ones you buy at the store. They also put shredded cabbage which I found strange; Also, it was $8.95. This place has great food but HORRIBLE service!!! Never come here within the last hour of closing. I once came around half an hour before closing time and they turned me away saying that they closed the kitchen early, which is somewhat understandable. Another time I went around an hour before closing time and their kitchen was closed again!! If their kitchen closes that much earlier than posted all the time then they need to change their hours. If you go during the day go they have really great food and their delivery is good too. read more

Great place that is open late!! I am very thankful to have a non-fast food option in the area. If you are using your GPS to get there, be careful! My phone tried to send me down Jones Road, but the storefront actually faces FM 1960. I ordered a beef banh mi and meatball pho to-go. The sandwich was the most flavorful I had ever had from a Vietnamese shop, and I eat Vietnamese often. The pho was good too. Standard broth but unique meatballs that tasted homemade. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 has got to be the lighting in that place. It was pretty clean and organized in there but ambiance is big for me and the fans under the lighting gives this place an atrocious flickering lighting phenomenon that was really distracting from the meal. The service was good. They were nice and helpful and the other patrons said hello to each other. So either really friendly people go here or they must have a good group of regulars. First time trying pho so honestly I may not be the best judge when it comes to the food itself but I definitely liked it, just didn't catch the "ohhhhhhh my gerd this is the best thing ever" bug. It had an overall decent flavor but the tofu (had the tofu an vegetable pho) was really tough and not tasty at all. Veggies were great though and noodle game was on point. I'll have to try a few more pho places and come back another time to give it another shot. read more

Unlike most Vietnamese places, this one unfortunately had zero vegetarian options. Their menu had tofu pho, but the pho was made with beef broth. I understand that this is very common and expected it. However, there wasn't a single other item without meat on their menu. I asked the server if I could replace any of the meat on the dishes with tofu, and he said no. He just suggested stir fried vegetables with rice, which was tasty, but not very filling. Once the bill arrived, I was surprised to find that my small meal cost $8.50. After using Google translate, I realized he had charged me for chicken rice and just modified it to take off the chicken. The service was also pretty poor. The two employees there seemed to avoid eye contact when we were waiting for the bill while they did other tasks around the restaurant that clearly could have waited. It's hard to find excellent pho in the NW part of Houston and when you do, you are so grateful that you no longer have to drive to Chinatown to get some! Despite the odd name, this place has some amazing pho and the prices are beyond fair when you taste how good the pho is! This place also closes late and that's pretty awesome for a restaurant in this area. We ordered the pho tai bo vien (rare beef and meat balls) and it was delicious! The slices of beef are tender and not tough like other places and the amount of meat they give you in a bowl is super generous! They even have an X-large size bowl! Don't let the looks of the shopping center scare you away. The pho is some of the best I have tried. I also had the grilled chicken spring roll and those were also good. Pho town recently opened & the place is really clean & modern. The owners are super friendly & accommodating. Thoa made sure my son did not get milk in his strawberry smoothie when she found out he was lactose intolerant. My son ordered the C3 Pho with eye round steak, flank, tenderloin, & meatballs. The pho broth is so flavorful & they do not have add MSG. I had the E2 Seafood combo - shrimp & crabmeat noodles. Also excellent & very flavorful. Their lunch combos are a great deal $10 or less which includes appetizer, noodle bowl/sandwich, & drink. We will be back to try more dishes. read more

Hands down the best banh mi in the area!!!!!!! The meat was so flavorful and the bread was soft unlike, some places have the really hard bread. Oh don't forget the egg... you HAVE to get the egg! The patte sauce was so on point! I highly recommend this pace! read more

Pho town was surpassingly good! I've been here for the first time today and I was like wow...my go to place is the pho Danh literally next door, but this place is not bad at all...it's a small place but it's clean! Food comes out pretty fast. Customer service was pretty good as well...one thing I like about this place is that they don't rush you...they simply hand you the menu and come back within a min or 2 most pho places just hands you the menu and literally just wait for you. I must admit - I didn't come here for a while because of the name. Pho Town? Sounds too American for me! But over and over I kept seeing 5 star reviews from Vietnamese people, so I figured this place must be legit. IT'S LEGIT. I ordered the Pho Town special (C4 on the menu) due to the hype and it did not disappoint. The broth came out hot and tasted very beefy - without any MSG. There was a good proportion of meat to noodles and I didn't even have to add anything to the broth for more flavor. As an added bonus, this dish comes served with bone marrow broth with an egg in it - I haven't been to any other pho restaurant in town that does this - and that was just a phenomenal icing on the cake. My one qualm - my waiter forgot an appetizer that I ordered - but it worked out because the bowl of pho was really enough and my fat ass shouldn't have ordered more than that anyway. Been here twice now and they messed up my order. Service is definitely lacking but at least the food is good. So I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be returning. For those of us who are sensitive to MSG, you may now rejoice. Pho isn't what it used to be. It's loaded with msg everywhere you go. How does this place do it? My guess is moar beef in the beef broth. It's so much beef in the beef broth that if you notice it, you can see the soup is darker than most pho restaurants. My wife and I were reluctant at first to try it out as we never see anyone physically there. But we decided to try it out last night. The nem nuong was ok, my wife couldn't eat it. I enjoyed the soup. Very hot and delicious ! I got the pho steak, flank, and meatballs. I loved the meatballs, i do wish i had little bit more noodles.
