Pho Town was delicious! Wife and I decided to try this place out after our usual Vietnamese place gave her an upset stomach. It turned out to be a blessing! Pho towns portions are gigantic. The spring rolls were huge and the pho bowls too! I ALWAYS finish my food but even I had some difficulty at this place. The soup was flavorful (more herb-y than some other places) and they pile on the noodles and meat. Although I feel the meat may be better at some other places. Gave me my food with peanuts. sent it back alerting of a peanut allergy . Guess what? They gave me the same plate and only removed some of the peanuts. Then still charged me full price. Never came back the the table or anything. Lucky my epipen was in my car. Thanks Covid for restricting my pho consumption for a long time. Pho to go is kinda weird. And I am very picky about pho. I like the real thing with the broth that has the deep, rich flavor. So Pho Town was recommended to me. And I'm so glad! The pho is excellent! I ordered beef pho and the meat was so tender. It's the best pho I've had in many years. It's not far from my house, so I'll be a frequent diner. I also ordered iced tea. They use jasmine tea! It's wonderful. I will update this as I try more things on the menu. Update after a few tries: I raved about this pho place close to my house to my boyfriend a while back. We decided to go out later that night and destroyed our bodies with alcohol in the process. The next day my boyfriend became a massive baby and had a huge hangover so I thought it would be perfect if I ordered pho (a known hangover cure by many) for us so we could recover on a Sunday in bed together. I'm not sure where the order went wrong but I ordered: two pho town specials with the fatty broth on the side, and an order of egg rolls. Whenever I received our order at home I was sad because I thought they forgot our fatty broth on the side.. after we begin eating our pho we realized they put our broth and a whole serving of the fatty broth together. Our pho was so rich it was inedible and made us even more nauseous. I was really sad :( and still hungry. Fast forward till today, I'm back to give them another chance after destroying my health yet again after a weekend of partying for Hallowee. In search of a cure for my acute whatever this stuffy nose and sore throat is. The broth is clean, I got everything that I ordered and the service is friendly. When visiting Houston, Vietnamese food is a must! I was honestly surprised by the huge selections at Pho Town. There's a variety of dishes and some of them can definitely cater to a more Americanized tongue. For example, there are flavors such as honey glazed grilled chicken and beef teriyaki for banh mis. Crazy shrimp avocado roll is something you wouldn't normally see in a pho restaurant. It comes with a mayo sauce that I've never seen before either. My boyfriend had a large bowl of pho with everything in it and on a side was given a bone marrow soup with egg - it was delicious. I ordered the shaking beef plate which came with fried rice and a really good dipping sauce for the beef! I was visiting from Massachusetts and it really shocked me how amazing the Vietnamese cuisine is down in Houston. Definitely hit up this Pho Town and it's own location as well. Last few times we were here to have pho, i noticed that the broth barely has any flavor. We had to add a lot of Sriracha and hoisin to add more flavors. I came here for lunch today with my husband. This is my first time eating Pho Ga here. I was so disappointed with the chicken they gave me in pho. It was shredded chicken breasts. In what world do u serve Pho Ga with shredded chicken breasts? The meat was like a chewed out sugarcane pieces. Broth was so bland. My husband's pho was also very bland. I used to really like this place, maybe the quality is going down? The other day I ordered my usual, Tofu & veggie pho for pickup. Now, I'm not usually one to complain about service but the guy at the cash register was so rude. It would be fine if the food made up for it, but it did NOT. The entire drive home I was anticipating the taste of that yummy, yummy pho. But when I opened it up the tofu looked a little...crispy. I thought, okay maybe it'll rehydrate itself when I add in the broth? Nope. I bit into that tofu expecting some soy goodness, but I coulda sworn I bit into a pho'ckin crouton. It would've been okay if it was just one crouton tofu, but literally EVERY tofu in the bowl was crouton consistency. The entire bowl of pho consisted of reject tofu and wilting ingredients. So sad. This is where Vung Tau used to be off of Jones Rd and 1960/Cypress Creek pkwy. I came in to try their Phoritto and it was worth the drive! You shouldn't be able to miss this place. It's right across the street from DQ or next door to Taiko. I was skeptical about it at first because I'm not a big fan of soup based items. I had so much Pho overtime, but this was another way to eat it so why not try it? It really is your bowl of pho, minus the broth wrapped in a tortilla. It's served with a tiny soup bowl of broth and two meatballs so you can dip the phoritto if you'd like. I'm going to say most of the flavors were from the hoisin and sriracha sauce. I love both these sauces so it was a plus. I give this dish two thumbs up. The beef is cooked already so no worries. I'll return to try out their other dishes. read more

I have been to this place a couple of times already and overall is a great place to come after work since it's one of the only few places that stay open late. The food and presentation of the food is awesome. I wish the place was better decorated and was nicer looking just because I feel it would be more inviting to people. This place was on point. The egg rolls were so tasty. Tons of flavor and so scrumptious! Today was the first time for my husband and I to eat here. We were not let down. The portions were great. They were alright but my experience want the best. We ordered an XL pho and a general tso's chicken. I got the latter - based on the photo - large pieces of fried chicken on a bed of broccoli. The pho came out quick. The other meal was 12 minutes behind it. I know soup is quick ... but still 1/2 the table having food more than 10 minutes than the other half is a bit awkward. A table across from us looked like the same happened to them. My chicken came out 12 minutes later. It didn't really look anything like what the photo, little pieces but it had a few pieces of broccoli. It might've been okay, but the orange was overpowering and I don't like orange chicken. Why did I order it then? Scroll up and you'll note that I didn't. I sat awkwardly not really eating my food for about 12 minutes but my server didn't come back at all. After 15 minutes, my boyfriend started eating it... No one ever came back to the table. We got up and went to the counter to pay. I'm sure it's not a bad place, but I can't give a good or even mediocre rating to a place I have to leave hungry... My Ubet Eats food delivery was missing the $6 Thai Tea I ordered. I called Pho Town and the lady I spoke with was VERY RUDE!! She told me she could not help me and I needed to contact Uber directly. i contacted the driver and he told me he never received the Thai Tea from Pho Town. I called Pho Town again and the same rude lady answered. This time her story changed and I was told there was no manager there to help me, and no one was there to make Thai Tea. I was LIED too!!!! The woman on the phone then HUNG UP on me. This happened twice to me even after I called back again to ask about a refund!! This place just won me over on my favorite pho spot up north. We had eggrolls and the nam house special rolls for the appitizer. Both were on point but i really liked the house roll. The pho broth is made out if 100% natural no msg and that already shows alot about the quality. Meat was tender and juicy ! Very rare for a pho shop to have good broth and meat! Besides that the service is just as fast as any other pho shop so they were up to par on that as well. This is one of those places that perfected everything on the menu before putting up for advertising. All smoothies are made from real fruits and its the best thing to wash it down. Their Pho is the best I have had. The ambiance is a little lackluster, but the food is amazing. Also, It is in a decent location.

This is a hidden little gem in Jersey Village, another pho spot I frequently eat at happened to be closed. So my Roomate and I decided to give this place a try. The food is very good and fresh but they always charge extra when you ask for sauce that is free. They have been charging me $.35 each for a tiny packing of their chili oil that sits free on the table. They've done this to me multiple times when I've ordered food to take out. Not cool at all. They also only halfway fill the sauces that come w your meal. The audacity to charge me extra for free sauces and not even give me the adequate amount of sauce for my meal. Im upset by this.
