Wow wow wow!!! The food was delicious!!! I had the B2 while my family had C2 Pho and the Phorrito. I tried the Pho which was ok but nothing special. The B2 on the other hand, was just too perfect! It was the glazed pork l believe. The Phorrito was said to be "the best thing l have ever had at a Pho restaurant" so l guess it was equally that delicious. Im giving 4 stars because it was freezing in there. It was around 32 degree F outside and honestly inside was almost as cold. We all kept our coats on. Maybe it is a temporary issue. If so, l hope they soon fix it. Just in case for now, you better take your coat or at least a heavy sweater with you if you are going there (one of us was lightly dressed and regretted that decision). Tried the glazed chicken vermicelli and was sadly not impressed. The portions were small and the price was high which was dissatisfying. The Thai tea was good and there was ample parking. I asked for siracha and they gave me the smaller side of siracha I have ever seen. I wish I had known of their portion sizes so I could have asked for me. This place was very pleasant. I was recommended by a few friends to try this place out. They told me about the broth of the soup and how good it was. (My boyfriend and I live for the broth) So we decided to go and try it. When ordering we were well greeted and the place is clean. We ordered our usual bowls of pho and they came out fairly quickly. First impression was the broth was really dark. We were used to such dark broth in our pho, so it came as a surprise to us. Once we tasted the soup, it was really well made. It's a different taste, not too oily, and not to salty. A good amount of flavor for your pallet. Overall the meal was enjoyable and I would definitely come back again. Yes yes yes! This place has good pho and good great broth! Got the some spring rolls Wich came with amazing peanut sauce. The vermicelli was OK they gave a lot of lettuce and had to add a lot of extra stuff to make it good. A fried egg was a $1.50 though! Normally it's .75 so that was a little ridiculous for just an egg. The pho burrito was good even came with a side of broth for dipping but the tortilla was cheap and felt like one if those mission burrito tortilla. I would say this is the best pho for this area. I like the C4 with the bone marrow and egg. They are pretty generous with the meats as well.

My friend and I came in on a Saturday around 2pm'ish.. There was only one table occupied. It took awhile for the girl to take our order. The strawberry banana smoothie was good. The pho didn't taste like any other pho I've had. I mean, it wasn't bad... but it had so many different spices/herbs that it didn't taste like pho broth is supposed to taste like... Also, we were needing the check, but the young girl working was sitting at a table on her phone and didn't hear us the THREE times we said we needed our check. I mean I am Viet and have been to the motherland so I know my roots and growing up with a mama who whipped up Vietnamese cuisine daily makes me an expect right? Lol plus I really enjoy cooking myself and have been told by friends and family that I know my way around the kitchen. The super friendly and sweet female owner I believe was the one who took our order. One of my twins got a Sprite and it was a good size in a Togo cup. The lady suggested for us to get some tea they had there and at the bottom there was fruit jelly for my other twin since she wanted ice tea.. The drink was good but my daughter didn't like it so I ended up drinking it.. The beef and pork spring rolls had good flavor. But to be completely honest the pork to me was a little more fatty then I like. The peanut sauce was good and wasn't watered down even though they didn't have pickled carrots in it. The beef pho was actually flavorful and wasn't all water and salt like you would expect from a place way far from SW Houston. The special vermicelli had a combination of proteins such as grilled pork and shrimp with an egg roll. I can not say much about the egg roll since mine was donated to the Mr. The shrimp inside my vermicelli wasn't good and was rubbery textured and very bland.. (I'm a seafood snob though since my dad has a shrimp boat in Louisiana.) Overall great service and the Yelp $25 for $50 is a good deal.. 3 entrées, 2 appetizer, 2 drinks totaled to be around $38 bucks.. If you don't use the whole $50 just FYI you don't get to use the remaining money on the voucher.. read more

Had a late night dinner with my wife. We ordered the Pho and Nem Nuong (Grilled rolls). The Pho was delicious. I liked the broth. It was very beefy. It's something you would get from home cooking. Tasted like they used quality bones & herbs vs other restaurants standard broth. The usual rare meat we see at other restaurants is marinated and and patted down so it came out delicious and tender. Only issue is the nm and găn were not up to par. For the grilled roll, the dipping sauce was terrific and so were the roll themselves. Only interesting thing is that the water came in plastic cups. We also order the durian fruit and it was delicious. It was not sweet and sugary. The service from the staff was top notch. Thank you guys. When you first walk in the place seems a but small but their food pack a punch!!!! It's amazing that they open later then all the other Pho place around my area. I ordered a teriyaki beef spring roll it was so yummy it was freshly made and the peanut sauce was yummy also. My husband ordered a beef rice dish with an egg and I have their beef pho. Broth is yummy and they give you good amount of beef. The waitress is very sweet over all the experience was awesome. Overall: A northern style Pho (Pho Bac) with a slightly sweet / savory-ish flavor. It is noticeably without flavor modifiers / MSG. Portions are a little smaller than typical Pho Dac Biet and is noticeably missing the tripe however what sets them apart is the poached egg. Its not often I have a northern Vietnam style Pho, Pho Bac. Characterized by the pronounced Star Anise, charred onion flavor, tenderized beef, and the lack of chopped herbs and onion. There is less reliance on fish sauce in Northern style Pho. Pho Town adds a slight sweetness I'm not used to for a northern style pho and done without using any noticeable amount of flavor modifiers (MSG). I am incredibly surprised by the homely nature of the Pho. Its a real clean bowl of pho. If you've ever been #phofaced by the steaming bowl of pho, where theres a lingering scent of Pho that stays with you the rest of the day, not here. They skimmed most of the fat off the top so you walk out having feeling eaten something fairly light even though you had some thick chunks of fat in that brisket. The tendon is also very tender, not chewy #mypreference I generally like places that try to take a novel shot at something as standard as Denny's Grand Slam. Its hard to differentiate your Pho while still being Pho. Here the Pho Dac Biet includes a poached egg. While it doesn't do too much for the Pho, it doesn't hurt it either. #somethingdifferent I'll be back to try other things on their menu. read more
