    Burrata with prosciutto, calamari
    Angela V.

Beautiful restaurant with friendly service and great food! Excellent Italian that won't break the bank. The calamari, burrata, meatballs, eggplant appetizers are great starters. You have to get one of the pizzas- the crust is soo good coming out of their little brick oven. We enjoyed the branzino, papardelle, and their tiramisu is one of the best around! Easy to get a reservation this time of year. BYO

I gave this place one more chance big mistake. The staff must have opened the front door 50 times during our dinner letting in the frigid air, never considering the customers comfort. I was served a rice ball which was bad and paid $16 for it, pictured. Asked for spaghetti with the carbonara but received the rigatoni. Horribly salty and about a cup worth of pasta. We were ignored from the time we were served our meal. Do better, prices today are so high but the meals need to live up to the prices.

Amazing service here. Very warm and inviting atmosphere. Authentic italian food. So delicious. Definitely want to come back

Visited the shore on a weekend night on a last-minute whim, then searched for a restaurant. I'm told restaurants are often reserved for the entire summer season, which made finding availability at one of the recommended restaurants difficult. This place had one available table inside. With high season, tables were crammed. Very tight aisle-ways meant servers had to routinely squeeze between tables and customers. Hard wall and ceiling surfaces made conversation difficult. My wife and I shared a Caesar Salad, Margherita Pizza, and Rigatoni Spicy Vodka. None really stood out. Server was very pleasant and helpful. Probably would try somewhere else next time.

I didn't get a chance to dine in but you could tell options off the menu are definitely elevated. I walked in on a Saturday around 7. Half the tables indoors were occupied. Being that it was my first time trying this establishment, I decided to order a classic margherita pizza. I tend to order this pizza any time I'm trying a new Italian restaurant. The staff was very nice when taking my order and answering my questions. I was pretty excited about it because they have a beautiful brick oven. My pizza took about 15 mins to be ready as they are made to order. While waiting, I admired the interior. Decorations were tastefully done and reminded me of places in Europe. My thoughts on the pizza; The tomato sauce was light and flavorful with just the right amount of cheese. You could tell the few pieces of basil topped off we're fresh because it gave a pleasant aroma. The only downfall would be the crust. I had to reheat my pizza when I got home to make it slightly crispier. In addition, there was far too much char on the bottom of the pie which left a spicy taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, it didn't wow me.

I realize and take into consideration that many family-owned restaurants are having a very difficult time finding employees at this time. But the restaurant appeared to be fully staffed but the service was just bad. I can't go into full detail of the serious shortcomings of service since the review would be way too long. But here's a summary of the beginning of the meal: no place settings; hummus appetizer arrives, but still no place settings; tell the waiter that the hummus should come with bread and we need utensils; waiter looks surprised; fried zucchini appetizer arrives without any sauce; tell waiter that menu says it comes with mayo sauce; he looks surprised again but brings back marinara sauce. We give up, but you get it the pictures. The food was meh. I had the parpadella with mushrooms. The sauce tasted like the cook sprinkled In some immitation truffle oil to add some earthy-mushroom flavor. I tried a couple of the other dishes in our group. Meh. Presentation on the plates was terrible and made the dishes look unappetizing. Perhaps the restaurant can't find experienced help for now. I wish them luck, though. The owner and a woman who appeared to be a manager seems like nice people who genuinely care and are working very hard.

Left the children with the in-laws, played our first three games of pickle ball, ran back and changed quietly in the basement, sat at Pulia's w my wife, put in for arancini, ran to north beach liquor for a Sauvignon blanc and Barolo, then, finally, sat. Four courses of bruschetta, mozzarella y carazzo, parma pizza, and a panne cota washed down by the 1.5 liters paired w phenomenal attentiveness made this an 8th anniversary to remember. Ventnor is impossibly underrated and Pulia is reason #83 why. We'll be back w the kids and/or in-laws soon.

It felt like an earthquake was occurring everytime you shifted something on the table. As a peer tried to cut his food another peer's wine completely spilled everywhere. The staff was aware from the start it was wobbly table, but the other tables were reserved (and some were also very wobbly) so they did not offer us a different spot. We ordered food based on some recommendations from the waiter and some that we wanted to try. Short Rib Fries - Fries were not very good in terms of taste and crisp. The ribs were ok... tasted like cheap meat Fried Mozzarella - Standard not bad, nothing unique Ultimo Burger - the patty tasted like a microwaved, very bland and had to add ketchup for any flavor. Baked penne - was definitely the best item I tried on the menu. Very rich creamy pasta Mango Cart Draft Peers - Not bad. Only $6 for a draft so very reasonable. Cabernet Sauvignon Wine - did not taste good whatsoever. Would not recommend. Aperol Spritz - the splash of soda water was more of a dunk. Not enough flavor because the soda water was too much. The view was nice as you are high up and can get the ocean breeze. The ambiance looks nice, and they have a backdrop "corona" sign. Music was just getting set up as we were leaving, but they do have live music. The staff were very nice, but seemed very inexperienced (not knowing drink names, etc.). The kitchen was SLOW AS MOLASSES. Took sooo long to just get the appetizer and soooo long to get our food, we asked for our check as soon as the food came out. Food: 2/5 - not good food in anyway Ambiance: 5/5 - great beach restaurant feel Service: 3/5 - friendly staff, but terrible tables, and terribly slow paced

A lot of reviews talk about the lack of service. Our server was very attentive without being too much. I could see if the place was busier how people would complain about the service. I did notice that Santucci's has events most days of the week. We ordered calamari and two personal size pizzas. The calamari was crispy and was seasoned well. The personal pizzas were very big. We ordered a white pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both pizzas were good. I would give them a 8/10. The white pizza had a cheesy bread taste. Which you would either love it or hate it. The pepperoni pizza was good, but the layers are different from what I am used to. The sauce is layered on top then the cheese and the pepperoni. So if you like a more cheesier pizza this would not be an option.

I love that they're BYOB and you'll have a view of the pool and the ocean from a distance. Service was outstanding. It was perfectly timed and so personable. They provide complimentary bread with a delicious olive oil topped with crushed red pepper. To start, we split the Caesar salad and this was one of the best we've had in a while! It was cheesy and had the right amount of dressing without being too overpowering. They added olives and freshly made croutons that gave it some extra texture that I enjoyed. For my entree, I had the milk fed veal chop served Milanese style which was nice and light exactly how the server described it. It's like a caprese salad on top of a battered and crisp bone in chop. The balsamic was so tasty and they put a very generous amount of mozzarella on top. This was 17 ounces so I couldn't finish half of it but it still tasted great leftover. The star of the evening was the chef's specialty dish: the Pork Chop Agro Dolce. It's a center cut bone in pork chop topped with carmelized onions, a hot cherry pepper & capers in a sweet & slightly sour sauce over a candied sweet potato which tasted just as amazing as it sounds and looks!! I was dipping my veal chop into this sauce because it was absolutely incredible!! I don't think I've ever had a better pork chop in my life. It really puts others to shame. Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert, but I'm already looking forward to my next visit here to try some pastas and seafood. They also had special items that I'm super curious about! Highly recommend this place!

It was delicious. we also had eggplant Parmesan appetizer, $30!!!!, which was delicious and then we had the tuna tartare, which was also very good. The restaurant was very pricey. The atmosphere is nice, but when you look out the window, all you see is a pool you don't see the ocean. It's a restaurant that I would recommend but be aware of the cost and the spiciness.

Stella informed us that they did not have any availability for seating until 8:30. We thought this was odd as there was absolutely no one in the restaurant, but we walked down to La Padella and we were seated immediately outside. It was a beautiful evening. Our server was very friendly but a bit overworked. I think La Padella only had two servers working and the place got pretty busy. When we were leaving it was pretty much full. What we ordered: Spaghetti al gamberi - Shrimp, broccoli rabe, diced tomatoes, basil, garlic, white wine lemon sauce. Branzino al limone - Grilled asparagus, shrimp, oven roasted tomatoes, capers, lemon basil white wine. Both dishes were good but not great. As some other reviews have mentioned, the food was a little on the bland side. Prices were on the expensive side, especially since all sides were a la carte. Definitely $$$ as per Yelp.
