Rotten salad that they served us at the party.

Just had a birthday party for my son today. I usually love Pump It Up, but this location was a really disappointing experience compared to other branches. The staff here were way too strict, to the point where it affected the kids' experience. We had one child with a milk allergy who couldn't eat the pizza that was provided, and we brought a small snack just for that child so they wouldn't be left out. Even after explaining the situation, the staff refused to let that one kid have their own snack and told us that if we "broke the rule," we'd be charged an extra $250. That felt completely unreasonable and insensitive. On top of that, the food they served wasn't fresh. We ordered an extra side salad and fruit, and our guests complained that the salad was rotten. We told the staff, and although they removed the charge, it still shouldn't have happened in the first place. Another thing that really surprised us was at the end of the party -- the staff were collecting every single balloon from the balloon drop so they could reuse them. The kids were disappointed because they thought they could take one home. It honestly felt like they were cutting costs everywhere while still raising fees. And honestly, for more than $1,000 for a kids' birthday party, I expected much better. Overall, we were not impressed at all and would not recommend this location. The Pump It Up in Santa Clara is much better -- the staff there are more involved, friendlier, organized, and actually make the celebration feel special. Unfortunately, this location was the complete opposite.

we came in for an open jump planning to let our 1 year old roam and crawl freely. i didn't realize they had soft play blocks for her to climb on, which was such a nice surprise. i was also impressed with how clean the floor was. definitely our new go-to place for raining days. one thing to note is that the staff isn't responsible for watching your children (just like anywhere else). i do wish they offered a 2 & under open jump time to help prevent older kids from accidentally knocking over the little ones. (hopefully someone actually sees & takes note of this) we will be returning though!

My little love with her beautiful birthday decorations in Pump it up San Jose

My little five girl Amy was so happy with her birthday party at Pump it Up. The glow jumping in the dark was so wonderful and every kid loved it! At the beginning, the staff explained the safety rule . Then all the friends cheered with the birthday kid before entering the room. There were two play rooms there. The first one was regular light and the very very long slide was the most popular. The second room was glow dark room and the kids enjoyed this kind of mysterious environment. After the all time playing with different kinds of trampolines, it came the delicious food. Their pizza and chicken wings were so delicious. Different flavors of drinks you can choose. We love lemonade best. And we brought our own birthday cake and they can help to keep in their refrigerator. Birthday song, birthday cake, and birthday goodie bags... Two hours full of fun time! Perfect! Laila and her team members can help the parents to take care of all the party preparations. Before the party, they called to double confirm and were very responsible and helpful during the whole party! Thanks to you all!

First visit to a Pump It Up for GK#2's 6th Birthday Party. Sam was our Party host and he did a great job. Located in a strip mall, the facility appears clean and well maintained. The bouncy castles are in good shape without obvious wear. Like a party assembly line, the kids gathered in the lobby, where the safety rules were discussed then the kids and adults were schlepped into the first playroom with3 large bouncy castles. After about 35-40 mins the party moved to a 2nd playroom with 3 other bouncy play structure's and a balloon drop. Balloon drop proved to be popular. After a group picture, the group moved to the party room where birthday treats were served. Well organized. Employees were friendly and kind to the kids. On the pricier side, but not totally out of line with other birthday venues in the area.

    An angle of the inflatables

Sigh... once little ones experience bounce houses they really never get it out of their system. Pump It Up is a bounce house with a few different inflatable sections. It's mostly for parties but also has some free play time where any kid can play. For $22/hour. Not pro-rated. If you're a kid, you'll probably like this place up to maybe 7 or 8. I think older kids would find it a little too limited and small. For adults this place is something to endure. The annoying music blaring and the sound of air pumps makes conversation difficult. There's nothing to do but wait for the kids to be done. Also their credit card machine is down a lot, which is annoying. It's in a big shopping center so there's plenty of parking. Overall, you can take your kids here, but don't expect to enjoy it yourself.

Amazingly, Great America is closed on Saturdays, and it was way too hot to be outside. This spot was perfectly air-conditioned and just what we needed. I don't know if I got lucky with the crew on shift, but the staff were on top of it and made our experience awesome. We got to try everything with our tickets, and even I was able to crawl and run through all the attractions. (I'm a petite adult who works out, if you're larger or have bad knees, you might get stuck.) I paid $38 for me and my niece to play together until more kids showed up. There's also a membership for $25/month (one adult + one child), but you have to commit to at least 3 months. This place was worth every penny. My niece made friends right away and ran around playing until closing at 8 PM. That said, there are a few areas where I think the experience could be even more fun: **1. Bathrooms:** They were a bit of a mess--typical kid chaos, like toilet paper everywhere. Totally expected, but a little more frequent cleaning during peak hours would go a long way. **2. Bazooka Ball:** It took *way* too long to get a game started. Some kids had to leave before it even began, and kids kept asking me, "Is it going to start?" When it finally did, playtime was only 3-5 minutes. That felt rushed, especially after waiting so long. I think it would help to have a set schedule for these games to be posted and spread out throughout the day. It could even be a fun "grand finale" before closing. I get that it takes safety training to run the game, but giving families a clear time to plan around would make a big difference. I can see parents saying after bazooka ball we're going home. Also, I got to play 2times, the guns worked fine the first round--but the second time, mine and my niece's guns were broken. With such a short play window, fiddling with gear that doesn't work really sucked. Before starting a game, someone should test each gun and label the ones that are out of air. That way, every kid gets a fair shot. I'm glad our first round was solid, but I could see a kid being really disappointed if they waited forever, got a broken gun, and then lost. **3. The Tire Slide:** There's a slide in other reviews where kids sit on a tire and roll down a long, fast track. We were so excited to try it--my niece hauled that heavy tire up the stairs, ready to fly--but when she sat on it, nothing happened. It just... stopped. No roll at all. I don't know if they changed the flooring, but it's a huge letdown. That slide was a major selling point for us, and it didn't deliver. I get that speed could be a liability, but even a slight roll would make the climb feel worth it. We all sign the waiver--some fun and freedom here would go a long way. **4. The Ball Pit:** My niece tried to cannonball in--only to find out it's not even full. Just a floor with maybe half an inch of balls, giving the illusion it's deep. She didn't get seriously hurt, but she did hurt her leg jumping in. We sat and watched other kids do the same thing--one after another--slowly realizing the pit wasn't safe for jumping. At trampoline parks, they mix foam blocks in with the balls so kids can jump and swim around safely while staying on top. It also helps staff see everyone and prevents accidents. I think adding something like that would make the ball pit way more fun and way less risky. --- **Things included with your ticket:** - Maze - Trampoline - Jumpy House - Bazooka Ball - Mini Golf - Rock Climbing - All slides **Extras (cost extra):** - Food & water - Arcade games - Claw & candy games They even have a toddler area--secluded and locked off from the bigger kids. Perfect for little ones to roam freely and have a blast. **Suggestions for an even cooler experience:** A game card--like at Chuck E. Cheese--where you can play arcade games unlimited for a set time (starting when you swipe) would be a game-changer. It would keep the energy going and give families more value. Even without the changes I highly recommend this indoor park. I can see this playground getting old after a few times but for my first time here this place was lit and there was a birthday party going on so there was more kids playing hide and seek and tag it was a good time.

You have to do this visit the right way to really get your money's worth. We came on a Tuesday arrived at 6:30 PM and it was not crowded at all. The prices online and in person are the exact same, out of convenience I decided to just pay in person. Customer service could be so much better, I understand we came at the end of the day, but upon arrival the person working the front was sitting back with her phone in hand and talking to someone on speaker. I initiated the greet and she followed it up with a question on whether or not we had been there before. Upon sharing we were first timers, she says there's a waiver to sign and points. I look back to see what she's point at about twice before I ask what she's referring to. Instead of her getting up to show me, she shares there's a QR code behind the computer lol. Fast forward to payment, she offers us either the 1 hour block or 2 hour block, but I had already seen that their hours were until 7:30... we arrived 6:30 so why would I be offered the 2 hour block and then be asked to leave within the hour?? Overall, great place to bring little ones to tire out, but during a weekday and their non busy times would be ideal! There were about 3 families total outside of ours roaming the place and made it very manageable to play in different areas. Customer service is meh, but I mean the only thing needed from them would be help getting in/paying for entrance. P.S. We did not use the bathrooms, so no input there!
