These guys are awesome, called them out to clean a dryer vent and we discovered my line was badly water damaged from not being braced properly and needed to be replaced. Ruslan did a fantastic job diagnosing the issue, showed us evidence using video, and not for a second did we think he was being dishonest in an attempt to grow the job. Pricing was reasonable, and the work is warrantied for a year. After the new line was installed, our dryer began performing like a champ again. They spent hours in the attic, cleaning the HVAC, sealing a duct which wasn't properly sealed before and hanging up a vent every few feet from the attic ceiling. And yes, we have a high ceiling attic. They also took before and after pictures to show us the work they had done. They inspected our furnace and cleaned all air ducts and after some discussion about uneven air flow they even helped us regulate the air flow for our rooms which took some time because the previous owners had their own labels on ducts which didn't coordinate with ours and they took the time to figure out which duct is for which room and adjusted the air flow. I was really disappointed in my attempt to hire Pure Air to clean our ducts. After months of messaging on Yelp and getting a quote through Yelp messages, I hired the team to come to clean our ducts after our renovation project was complete based on the quote I received via Yelp messages. They then proceeded to send a "tech" to do an estimate in person the day before my scheduled cleaning. I didn't quite understand why that was necessary since I already hired them to do the job. The tech arrived and did a full walk through confirming our 10 ducts and 1 return duct. He then recommended we also clean our furnace and AC coils (an option that was not even offered through messages). He said without cleaning these coils the entire duct cleaning process is essentially purposeless because it would be sending dirty air into the clean ducts. The updated "final" quote hundreds of dollars more than what I was originally expecting when I had already hired the company to do the job. The company's lack of transparency in Yelp messages about this service being so important to achieving "pure air" and how much it would really cost caused me to cancel my appointment and to hire a 5 star competitor who did all of these jobs + replaced my dryer duct and kitchen exhaust duct at just slightly more than what Pure Air's updated estimate costed. read more

Had an issue with rats tearing up my duct work and needed to replace all my HVAC ducts. I got estimates from seven different companies. Of the seven companies, only two had up-front pricing. The other five companies sent salesmen to my home after sending an estimator, which is a huge waste of time, and the cost of paying those full-time estimators and salesmen is built into their estimates and passed on to the customer... Not only did Demertii from Pure AIR LA provide me with upfront pricing (on the phone), but he also advised that I ensure my house is completely closed off to rats and that the rats were gone before scheduling the job. Demetrii's estimate was cheaper than all the other companies. All but one of the other companies' estimates were double, triple, and even quadruple the cost quoted by Pure AIR LA. I do not want to make you think the service is free, but I paid a fair price for the job by going with Pure AIR LA! In addition to being the cheapest estimate, Demetrii was kind, professional, and no-non-sense. I do not have a high tolerance for salesmen and had to deal with them with five of the seven companies and many of them seem cocky, entitled, and put-downish. Demetri is not a salesman, and his price is exactly what he said it is and he was humble and kind the entire time. Pure AIR LA was able to schedule the work within two days of being ready to start. Their technicians are experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful. I cannot say too many kind words about Juan and the job he did in my home. Rather than up-selling me on unnecessary products, Juan worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done well within about six hours of starting (including the safe removal of the old ducts). Juan explained what he was doing and how the changes made would serve me along the way. By the time Juan from Pure AIR LA finished, my AC worked better than it ever did, even better than when it was first installed!!! When the job was complete, Demetrii called and asked me if I had the opportunity to feel the air come out of each duct. He wanted to make sure I was happy with the new duct work, airflow, and service before his technicians left my house and before asking me for payment. My furnace was working well, but allergies caused me to think I should get my air ducts cleaned. Pure Air sent someone out to do it, and the next day my furnace wasn't working properly. They sent the guy back out, he found something that was loose. Same problem next day, so they sent someone else out who actually was a repairman. He found a couple of little things to tweak.
