I needed my insulation replaced in my attic. It turned out we had a rodent infestation up there as well! Ugh. So I called a few companies to get a quote for the work and many companies would only do the insulation and not the rodent removal or vice versa. PureEco took care of everything and they were reasonably priced for the work needed to perform (take out all the old insulation, replace with new, secure, any holes or cracks in the attic and remediate the rodent problem). We needed to remove some old and gross powdered insulation that was probably as old as our house and installed some better insulation to keep our house cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. We contacted a few places and decided to go with Pure Eco. Best decision we made. They were here the following day installed plastic all around our walls to protect us and the rest of the house from this disgusting old installation. Our project wasn't inexpensive to do, but any hiccups along the way were quickly addressed and I had regular checkins from the office coordinator as well as the salesperson, Eli, making sure I was happy with the work the team was doing. We got this company from Yelp. We needed insulation for our attic because of the heat .we called 3 companies and only this guys responded. They came to the house showed us what they can do for us because our attic was a mess . They cleaned it and vacuumed the old blow in insulation. They removed it and took it away that same day ,we got our attic insulated in one day ,I must say it was very nice to see how this guys work .it was 105f out side. I don't want to think how hot it was in the attic but they didn't stop .we are really happy with the service and the temperature in the house is much better and now our house stays cool. read more

She was friendly and responsive. For the actual job, Jose and his crew arrived on time and did everything that was needed. It turned out that part of our attic had to be accessed in the garage which we didn't find out until end of the day. Isabella and Jasmine were outstanding fun the get go. They quickly got Bennie at my home for an estimate and all was great. They had a lot to do. Remove old insulation, old ducts and.a ton of debris from old roof amd old systems left in attic. All done in a day!!! As expected, issues arose, but Sarah, Jasmine and Isabella jumped into action to insure everything wrapped up great. Even days later when a loose wire was discovered, they dispatched an electrician immediately amd had it all resolved so quickly. I can't thank them enough for their kindness, respect and honest.follow through on all aspects. Including helping ME with the LA DWP rebate. They aren't trying to capture that on my behalf as many other companies will do. Highly recommend them Very very happy with end results. They were quick to respond which was nice, but unfortunately they are not of good quality. I scheduled them to do the inspection when I had an assistant let them into the building, but the work man was insistent on me being there stating that he only wanted to talk the decision maker rather then inspect the attic and send me a form. (aka High pressure sales tactic) On top of that I had to explain what a freaking estimate is; you're supposed to be a professional and recommend what is needed not just throw a bunch of stuff at me and say we recommend whatever you want. That is not a great start but what ended it was the fact the work man spent a grand total of 30 seconds to make a quote (peaking, not even going up there, nothing.....). So they were full of BS. So they had NO FREAKIN IDEA what was in there or what was needed! It was very dishonest. I ended going with a different company that spent 15 minutes in the attic and gave me a proper quote at a better price too. In summary, just be professional and honest. I would have paid the premium if you guys actually put in any effort. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. read more

They came on time in the morning and stayed til the job was done. Since it was a Friday, they told me that they wont mind staying to get the job done, even though it was a two day job and they could have come on Monday. After their work was over, they stayed, cleaned and showed us what they did. We tested the system and it ran perfect. Work crews kept everything clean. Both Jasmin and Izabela were very helpful at the office when we ran out of the jeans insulation for the last 300 square feet. The entire process took only a week. This allowed me to put in HVAC in the attic and also eliminate the health risks of both massive dust from my 4 month remodel and very, very old fiberglass. I usually don't go online to find contractors because I believe word of mouth, and same happened here, I got recommendations from my neighbors to go with pure eco and I am not sorry for a minute! Their standards are high, they do not compromise for less than perfect, and it seems like they care about the satisfaction of customers, even more than they care about making money haha. The reason why I am saying this is because I wanted them to install denim materials which potentially they can sell very high because it is expensive one, but they explained that if there is no allergies issues with any of my family members then we do not need it. I was ready to pay high! But all they care was to be honest with me. The insulation in our 40 year old townhome was "failing." That is to say the "blown in" material had settled over the years and was not doing much to help keep the house cool. I contacted Pure Eco and they sent a sales rep who helped us understand what was needed and gave us a good price (about 15% higher than the other bid I had gotten). We elected to go with them because of their prompt service just prior to an expected heat wave, whereas the other company couldn't do the job for several weeks. The three person crew was able to complete the job in about five hours since the attic space is not huge and did a good job of clean up. Outstanding service. I can save you hours of research which I already did in selecting a company to clean and sanitize my attic. Pick these guys. There. You just saved hours of your life that you can go spend doing things you really want to do instead of looking at photos of moldy insulation and rat poop. From start to finish every consideration was taken to meet my expectations - which was basically to clean up my attic AND protect the highly complex ductwork that was recently installed! Their salesperson Patrick was able to offer a competitive price, but once the crew arrived and I saw the level of professionalism and the incredibly in-depth attention to detail, I even added more services! What started out as a simple 'attic clean' turned into also adding a full Radiant Barrier. This was clearly explained to me and was truthfully a no-brainer to get done (saving 40% of energy bills? Count me in!). Also worth mentioning, as I am finding this VERY unusual in all levels of construction / home services - Pure Eco sent a designated manager to attend to the crew. Someone who spoke excellent English and who was also a nice, pleasant guy (important when you having someone in your home for several hours!) Pure Eco was also careful to cover all of my furnishings with plastic so that no debris fell through to my living space. People working on this job included José, Pandar, Edgar, Leo, and a couple of other lovely people who were so quick to get up into the attic that I never got to speak with them. All of these individuals could not have been more pleasant, polite and professional. Although they did a good job on the insulation installment itself, they still didn't help with the main problem I contacted them for. I requested a quote for insulation for two walls for a room, the contractor came out and told us our main problem was our attic and there was no insulation there. If we put insulation in the attic of the entire house it would fix our problem 85% vs 5% if we only did the walls. So he convinced us and we did the whole attic, with the idea that if we wanted to get the walls done later, ($750) he would be able to do so even though their minimum job amount is $2500. He told us he could come back and do it on a day he had another small job. So a week later we contact him hoping to add the walls, because the room is still 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the house, and now he tells us they can't do only the walls. If we want the walls done then we need to add another $2500+ job in order to do the walls. Now they're just trying to upsell us the radiant barrier which is $3300. So, although the job itself was done well, good material and all professional, and in the long run it'll hopefully be beneficial. Now we're out $4800 and our daughters room is still the hottest room in the house. read more

I contacted them for an estimate. This place is by far the most legitimate response I received in terms of process and diligence. I've done my research regarding sound insulation and some of the other contractors who responded provided solutions that I learned were cheap, but definitely ineffective in the long-run. Ceiling insulation is NOT something you want to mess with. You can end up with the wrong chemicals seeping smells through your house, or your ceiling collapsing on you. We used Pure Eco to remove our probably 50 year old attic insulation, disinfect and sanitize the entire attic, rat proof seal, air seal to prevent air draft and install attic insulation R-38 batts. The company came highly recommended by our contractor who we've worked with for years and trust. Pure Eco did not disappoint. Scheduling was a breeze. The crew arrived on time and worked the entire day and into the night so we could finish because of our busy schedule. They were quiet, professional and took such care of our house. They set up in the garage (entry to our attic) covered everything and seemed to leave our garage cleaner than when before they came. Armando was great and such a pleasure to work with. He inspected our ceiling beforehand and inspected after they were done. He saw that a few of our recessed lights had a minor crack around them after the job was complete, not uncommon when removing that much insulation and the equipment needed. I was shopping around for attic insulation replacement, cleaning and rodent proofing. I had several people to my house to look and provide estimate. I contacted Pure Eco through Yelp and got an initial estimate based on my square footage measurements from the other guys. The initial estimate came in at a very fair price with a caveat that the price could change if they arrived and measured something different. I emailed with the coordinator Jasmin who was incredibly patient and cooperative as I got my info together to avoid an upcharge upon arrival. Scheduling was very flexible and responsive. When the crew showed up Armando took a look and confirmed the measurements and that the quote given by email was good, no upcharge, I was smiling. The team worked very hard at putting the plastic up to protect our walls and floors. They were thorough and got the job done by 3pm (started about 9). Armando showed me the before and after photos, assured me that they found the huge openings that the rodents were using and that they covered everything with wire mesh to keep them out for good. The house feels cooler, quieter and my whole family sleeps better without the creatures roaming around up there. The service provided is great, definitely NOT something most of us would want to do so I am glad I had the pro's do it for me. Very happy customer! It's been a few years since we moved into our house. We knew that the insulation was questionable when we purchased the home, but, we figured that we would take it in that condition since we would never notice it anyway... And boy, was a wrong :))) What I was not aware of, was that a family of RATS made a nice living situation out my attic, I mean they had a couch and flat screen TV there, all cozy and rent free ;) Well, naturally once we figured it out we had to call for help.
