WOW! Let's just start with that. When I walked into the restaurant I immediately felt a warm and comfortable feeling. The place felt fresh and exciting, My buddy and I got to sit at the "Chefs Table" which is right in front of the whole operation, the kitchen, Host stand, and had a slight view to the bar and the rest of the restaurant. We started off with two cocktails! a Beet Martini... It was PHENOMENAL Then I had a Strawberry Mojito, was also delicious but lets get to the food! We started with the Endive Salad. Had a interesting twist for a base, was a noodle based salad with things you would not imagine go together but it all worked out, the different explosions of flavors in your mouth was absolutely amazing. Then got to the try there Special that was going on that night, was a Wagyu Steak with this amazing sauce, on a bed of what looked like romaine leafs. but either way it was delicious. Next was the Kumquat Pork-Belly Gyro Platter, which was also interesting but absolutely delicious! For Desert we had there chocolate cake, It was gluten free and Vegan, I am neither but boy OH BOY! was it delicious!! Refreshingly awesome. I'm not a big burger/pizza fan so dining in Frisco and Copper can be limited. This place has both on the menu so they're covered, but the menu is also crammed full of healthy options, both light and heavier. Farm to table, mainly locally sourced. Good wine and cocktail list. Easy to find (just off I-70), easy parking, great service and reasonably priced. They don't take bookings and it filled up very quickly when we were in. read more

We were very happy to find Pure Kitchen when looking for a vegetarian-friendly restaurant in Summit County. Pure Kitchen has a wide selection of food for both omnivores and vegans, and most dishes give you the chance to add a protein (tempeh, chicken, tuna, beef). I had the cauliflower tacos (delicious) and the winter squash noodle bowl (would probably not order again, but had a very interesting flavor and was extremely healthy). We were visiting from SoCal and heard about the opening of Pure Kitchen....thank goodness we came here! I'm a vegetarian (wannabe vegan) and my boyfriend is a carnivore, and this menu was perfectly concocted for us! Every ingredient was fresh and perfectly paired with one another. Terrible sums up the entire visit. Staff is disorganized and the manager was very rude. Called several times during the day about reservations and were told we would be put on a waiting list. Every time we called back we received a slightly different story. When we arrived we were told we were never added despite following the directions we received. The worst part was when we brought this to managers attention he was completely disinterested and then lied about talking to us on the phone earlier. Disappointing is an understatement. read more

Service was slow.  Then, our waiter forgot about us and we sat there for a very long time.  He was ignoring us so it was difficult to get his attention.  We decided to get the food to go since it had taken so long. I was about to drive off then my daughter noticed the avocado was missing that she ordered extra for $5.   In the end, the food was good so I will give this place one more try (maybe it was just an off day). Ok, I read all the reviews too and chose to give Pure Kitchen a try. I was CRAVING - GOOD whole food. I was imaging a "True Food" type Dallas experience - but I got BETTER. Better food, atmosphere, staff everything! The great thing about this place is: they listened to customers disappointing reviews and FIXED it. How many places do THAT?? I was greeted immediately upon entering - by a very kind soul to be sure! And told "choose wherever you'd like to sit". (Just me - no big table of 8) (BTW - the views of the mountains and changing Aspens are stellar!) Chelsea waited on my table and was a delight!!! EVERYONE I spoke with was delightful!! So onto the main event - the food and drink: I had a cocktail that the bartender delivered- he was a charmer - the Wallbreaker was refreshing and tangy!! I also had a their Cab - nice and dry like I like it!! FOOD:::: The DUCK WINGS ARE NOT TO BE MISSED! Sorry vegans, but y'all are missing out on the BEST DUCK WINGS - EVER!!!! The. End. ZOWEE... can I get a BUCKET of those things next time???? Honestly, there are 4 of them with two sauces, Chelsea suggested I get on the side- Perfect!!! I'll just get two orders next time and that will be dinner- EXCEPT- oh man - the BOWLS ARE GRRREAT!!! I had the Earth Bowl (this one is vegan (many will be thrilled to know)- and so filling, satisfying and just plain GOOOOOD!!!!! I believe people & places go through growing pains- I certainly did, as a 5ft tall second grader... and so clumsy- I think if people judged me and hadn't given me second chances - woooo- I'd be a different person. Wow. This place is just 10/10. Great food, great drinks, greater people. My only complaint is when I scoot out of the bar to use the ladies room.. the gosh darn stools make the loudest scooting sound. Would just like to not have an audience while scooting to the bathroom. We didn't really like this place. Locals and eat out all over the area. Here is why: 1. Service was poor, had a waitress who barely came by. We waited at least 5-8 minutes before being greeted once seated. Very odd 2. Spring rolls: Decent but not rolled tight and falling apart 3. Burger: It was okay but we were not aware that it had mango on it and ironically the table right by us was asking the waitress "the menu didn't say there was mango on the burger". She said "it is on there". We were thinking 'geez, duh, idiots, read the menu!' I said to my husband "Thank gosh we didn't order one with mango" and then it showed up exactly like theirs, covered in bacon and mango. It may say it on the menu but it must not be clear or obvious for two tables to make the same mistake. I just don't think mango is a good addition to a burger. 4. Thai bowl: the flavor was good, CHICKEN WAS AMAZING (best part of meal), but it was swimming in sauce. More like eating Peanut noodle soup 5. Music was blaring really loud, but that was fine, except a busser was cleaning off tables while singing along to the songs loudly. 6. Lunch for 2 and a baby was $65. This restaurant is too full of itself. Charges way too much for not enough. The margarita was super sweet, way too much agave and no balance. No salt either. The grass fed burger was visually beautiful but tasted very dull. The flavors melded together to nothing special for the prices charged. $16 for that should have been far more flavorful and special. Had a salad of mixed greens and goat cheese that was very good. However it was $14 for a relatively small bowl. And nothing came with it. No slice of toast, bread stick or...? Also for the pricing and the descriptions on the menu, I expected way more from the wait staff. They were a bit rough around the edges and better dressed for a bar and grill. I ordered the Superfoods salad with steak through the Toast Takeout app and was quite disappointed. For a $25 salad it was primarily greens (though they were fresh) and the tumeric vinaigrette was very tart & acidic, not a flavor combo I'd put with that salad. The steak portion seemed quite small though it was tasty. I ordered GF flatbread and the picture showed it topped with cheese. Nope, it was plain with no topping or sauce to dip it in. On top of that there was a surcharge on the app & menu prices seemed higher. Not even close to being worth $35 for a pickup order for 1 person. Disappointing! read more

The place has potential, but there are some kinks to be worked out. We waited over 15 mins for a server to take our drink order (the place wasn't crowded on a Wednesday evening). I'm vegetarian, so I loved all the plant-based options available on the menu. However, their focus on gluten-free means the meals are also desperate for carbs. The eggplant rolls we had for an appetizer had ... um, no rolls/carbs. The ravioli i had for an entree had ... um, no pasta. The spices and flavoring in both were very good, and the ingredients were very healthy, but I left feeling very hungry. I get that some people prefer to avoid carbs, but i think they should offer bread/rolls for those of us who rely on wheat gluten as an important source of protein (and who are plenty thin enough and are not trying to lose weight). read more

Great new restaurant in Frisco in a stylish casual upscale space with a mountain view. Chef inspired healthy menu. Lives up to the modern foodie vibe. I came at lunchtime and had the excellent lamb burger on a brioche bun with pesto and goat cheese. It came with house potato chips - I couldn't decide if the BBQ or salt & vinegar were best - and a terrific house pickle. Tons of vegan choices and gluten free options for my celiac boyfriend. I'll return as soon as I can for dinner or hang out at the bar and share snacks with friends and something from the curated craft beer menu. Happy to have tried Pure Kitchen! The lamb burger was juicy and flavorful, the Tandoori chicken was delicious and buttery! Bread pudding on point too! I really dislike writing reviews such as this one, but I feel I have no alternative. This has nothing to do with the food, and everything to do with safety of the preparation. During this time of restaurants offering only takeout (COVID), I ordered two salads for lunch. When I entered the restaurant, I noticed immediately that no one was wearing a mask and no one was wearing gloves. As the cook was completing the order, I saw him place food in the container using his fingers/hands with no gloves. What? With all that's going on how could anyone do that? My husband is in a high risk category and that was completely unacceptable. I asked that the salads be prepared again, and they were and this time with the proper gloves. There was no "oops", "sorry," "I apologize" or anything. Anyone who has taken a commercial food safety course (as I have) knows that you ALWAYS wear gloves when handling food in a restaurant, whether there is a corona virus or not. I contacted the county health department (on a Sunday) and received two responses straight away. Apparently this is the second complaint of the same nature in less than two weeks. We'll not be returning. This was an epic failure on something so absolutely basic. read more

This place has huge potential and a gluten free or vegans dream. The menu is quite interesting. The pork belly gyro platter was insanely good. I would love to have it in chicken if I ordered it as I'm not a huge pork fan. The forbidden rice noodle bowl was drowning in the chili sauce so it ruined the dish. Couldn't finish the bowl. The chocolate cake was horrible. But I'm not a Vegan so I appreciate real chocolate cake. I've had vegan chocolate mousse and you couldn't tell the difference but this was not eatable in my opinion but just my taste I'm sure. Fun drink menu. It is worth going back. They haven't been open long so I'm sure it will get much better!!! Definitely worth another visit. read more

I've now been to Pure Kitchen a few times, and I have loved everything I have tried! The menu is quite diverse and even has great options for Vegans, gluten free diets, and any other dietary restrictions. But there are still a lot of options for us bread and meat eaters as well! It's refreshing to have a restaurant in summit county that is actually healthy, truly tasty, and not way too expensive! The bar also has great options on beer, cocktails, and even kombucha! The restaurant's atmosphere is great, and the views of peak 1 are amazing! I'm excited for the outdoor patio once summer rolls back around! read more

Food is good but service is the worst. This time we sat at bar. Only 12 people but bartender would never come unless requested by someone. Most cocktails not mixed well. Common to have glass 1/2 full and sometimes that occurred with liquid still left in mixing glass. Bartending 101 is how to mix so glasses filled. 1/2 glass for $14 cocktail is unacceptable. Also server of food dropped in from of me for everyone's order and I mean dropped and then left. I can't believe how many times I've been out to Frisco in the last couple of years and I had no idea this place existed. These guys have awesome vegan and gluten free options. The tacos and chocolate cake we had were amazing. You can tell the food was made with high quality, minimal ingredients but still packed a ton of flavor. The service here was very amazing. My server was very amiable and checked up on us persistently and was also funny and was definitely a good person. When we first arrived, you could tell it was a little busy but the team still worked hard for us to get what we needed. The food was great quality especially since everything was organic and fresh. You can see into the kitchen, and you could tell that the cooks were working diligently. 25 year resident, so looked forward to this being a new "go to" place for family and visitors. I will not return unless you take away every staff members cell phone, it was ridiculous waiting 10 minutes on a Wednesday at 5:30pm when only 2 tables were seated, while everyone working was on there cell phone, even the manager I believe. So after being totally ignored for 10 minutes we left, barely out the door a waitress/hostess came up and said "are you ready to be seated" I asked her if she was done with her phone conversation, she apologized and said it was an emergency call, we walked away, but not before I asked her if the entire staff had the same emergency call. I will try again, but if I walk in and see staff on the phone, that will be the end, and you know word of mouth can make or break a Summit County establishment. read more

This place is truly Friscos number 1 restaurant. The food quality is fresh as can be. You can't get fresher vegetables and ingredients in town then this place. Place is a cool vibe. I wasn't sure about this place after reading two previous reviews that went after their vegan-friendliness but when I went there were ZERO problems and I had a good lunch out with some friends in Frisco. We were able to have outdoor seating and the staff was friendly and attentive. I got the zoodle bowl which was delicious and when someone else in my party ordered the black bean burger, the waitress asked if she was vegan (she was not) which shows that they keep that in mind when preparing the food. The water was cold despite not having ice and the food came within a reasonable time frame so I'm happy. This vegan rates it 4 stars! read more

We had a horrible experience here today. I ordered the super food salad, and it was missing at least two of the ingredients listed, and the chicken, which I was paying extra for, was lacking salt. We ordered the forbidden rice noodles for our son. It was a tiny clump of unseasoned, cold noodles. The service was terrible. Our server had an attitude about her, like she would rather be any place but there. Our son accidentally knocked over his glass of lemonade. It broke, and the lemonade spilled. This happened in front of our server, but she ignored us, and we were left to mop up the mess with our napkins. Meanwhile, I had to eat most of my meal without salt, since we weren't being checked on regularly. We're locals and love supporting local businesses, but we won't be back to this one. read more
