The food was tasty, don't get me wrong. The staff was eventually accommodating. Curry should be in a bowl, with rice on the side. What was brought to the table was a far cry from that. On a side note, my Pad Thai was very good, except there weren't enough veggies for a veggie Pad Thai. Ordered for Uber eats delivery. Food was terrible. I got the Tom yum noodle soup and shrimp spring rolls. The spring rolls had no shrimp in them, despite being charged more for it. I should note this restaurant is very expensive for take out at least. The two items were $25 before fees and tip!! The Tom yum noodle soup was disgusting. Noodles came in one cement block and tasted old. Broth also tasted old and not good. Not sure how this place has such a good rating. Maybe for other items. The sign on the freeway and the logo online is bold and red, but the sign on the actual building is cursive and princess elegance, so finding this restaurant in a really busy place is really hard. The food was very Americanized and nothing special. I wouldn't recommend this place. I was looking for pineapple fried rice to go with my takeout order and this place popped up. I ordered pad thai, pineapple fried rice, Penang curry, salad rolls, and wings. Everything seemed well prepared, and was enjoyable. It came really fast too. My only complaint is that the entrees were half the size compared to other places I have ordered from for the same price or maybe less. I love their food! But this is the second time I haven't got quite what I ordered. The last time, I got the wrong appetizer, so I had her check my order before I left to make sure I got what I wanted. All the boxes were right. But my mango sticky rice had no mango. While the food was good, this is not a food truck, it's a restaurant, so eating off cardboard boxes with plastic forks was not enjoyable. They want you to walk up to the counter to order but have the menu taped right in the way of where people are picking up takeout. The food is great possibly the best Thai food in the area, certainly Vancouver. The place is nice new and clean. I did not know that you order at the counter and they bring the food to you when it is done. It would have been nice to have a waiter/waitress. The were short staffed so it was a long wait. Everything here is good. The papaya salad with sticky rice is a staple. I like it medium spicy but sometimes I get it hot spicy too. I'm all about the Asian level spicy. I also have tried their chicken lard and it's so good. The khao soi is yummy too. The avocado shrimp salad is delicious also!! Again, everything here is so good. read more

The food was pretty good, not exceptional. I didn't like having to go up to the counter to order my meal. The big downer was that they are using the main dining area, the nicer side of the restaurant, for storage. You can see all the their supplies and junk when you walk in. Very tacky. We love this new Cafe! We had the Yellow Curry and Pad Thai as well as the Spring Rolls! The Spring Rolls were amazing with Shrimp in them. The greens were crisp and fresh and the peanut sauce was a perfect compliment. I ordered online and chose the lowest spice level for the Pad Thai which was still too spicy for me. Very disappointed. I had been looking at gorgeous photos they posted on FB and Instagram and was dreaming their "Crying Tiger," which is a grilled Flat Iron steak. In the video they posted, it looked rare and juicy, my kind of meat. But what we got there was overcooked and tough pieces of meat. We talked with the owner, but he didn't budge by saying "we cook the meat well because everyone likes it that way. " His response was very disappointing. But we were served overcooked, dry, tough meat that looked nothing like the picture. So we mentioned this to the waitress who took the order knowing we came there specifically for the Crying Tiger Steak based on what we saw on Instagram. She said she'd talk to the owner. Then nothing. They totally blew us off. When I went over and asked if she had talked to the owner, she went to get him, and he said we should make special requests in advance. I mentioned that the waitress knew we ordered the Crying Tiger Steak based on the video in Instagram and we had some expectation that it would be at least slightly similar. He said, next time tell us in advance. He wouldn't redo the order. He wouldn't refund the order. (We barely ate the meat as it was dry and tough.) He didn't even off a free desert or drink to make up for it. He just said, next time make special requests in advance. I'd just spent $75 (including a generous tip I regret) for a dinner for two. I've spent far less money and gotten far better service any other time I've received an order that's been disappointing. It would cost him a lousy couple of dollars to redo the order. But instead he now has two pissed off customers who are going to be very vocal about it. read more

Favorite Thai spot now, super good food and service. Was a little worried at first because pricing seemed a little steep (35 for two pad Thai, two Thai iced tea). Was super impressed after digging in and will totally come back. Only thing missing I feel like is the atmosphere feels more like a newer restaurant and a lack of soul that you would get with a Portland restaurant.
