3.5/5 Stars if I'm perfectly honest.
I want to love this place as we need for filipino/fusion dessert spots and I love the concept. Ube, thai tea, pandan, calamansi donuts? Sign me up! However, I've found that this place is a bit hit or miss, and I've been here more than a few times.
I enjoy:
CRINKLE COOKIES**
These I think are their best item. They've had Ube, Coconut-Pandan and Chocolate. They've got a nice crunch on the initial bite and then soft on the inside as the cookie just sort of melts into your bite. Satisfyingly chewy, with that nice bit of crunch you want throughout. Not overly sweet. Will come back for these!
SILVANA
Not pictured in my review is the Silvana, which I actually like since it's strong on the nutty flavor of the cashew or whatever kind you choose, got a bit of a crunch but with a nice gently sweet cream. I don't like desserts that are too creamy, I appreciate a nice crunch and this has a nice balance. It also pleases my picky parents who don't like desserts that are too sweet
UBE MINI CUPCAKE (75 cents!)
For 75c how can you go wrong? I actually really liked this; the ube cream and cupcake itself were differing levels of sweet and brought different notes of ube to it. and it's so small so you can just add this to whatever else you're ordering.
UBE LATTE
I had this a while ago but remember liking it; it had real ube in the latte when I had it and had a good coffee flavor alongside the starchy, subtly sweet ube. However, it was grainy at parts esp towards the end.

DONUTS
I've had their calamansi, ube and thai tea donuts and in general their donuts are so moist I would almost describe them as wet. So you bite into it and your teeth just kind of sink and it sticks to your teeth sometimes. Esp with the calamansi one with the coconut flakes on top - nice idea, but then the sticky wet donut contrasted to the dried coconut flake that was hard to break apart w my teeth wasn't that nice of a texture. When I come back (which I still plan on doing) I won't be giving their donuts another chance unfortunately. Calamansi flavor wasn't particularly strong. Thai tea and ube were better
CALAMANSI/UBE FLAN
With cake on the bottom soaked in the syrup of the flavor, it's definitely interesting. The cake, like their donuts, is a bit drenched, though and overly moist to the point of wet so just know that going in. The flan is not jiggly but moreso eggy. Not too sweet, and I think they do use fresh calamansi since at some bites it had a bit of the fresh zest (but also, unfortunately, a rind flavor) to it.
COCONUT PANDAN LATTE
Excited for this but didn't taste like coffee or a latte, but more like coconut pandan flavored milk. So if that's what you're going for, be aware. I love coffee so I was hoping to see that flavor represented more.

I want to come back and try their halo halo which looks amazing from the photos, and their mais con yelo and avocado stuff - some more traditional filipino desserts that I don't see to often being offered in isolation like this.
I see this place's potential and want them to be successful; there are some areas of improvement but they have enough interesting, unique and good things to make me return. read more
