I was so so so disappointed when my usual person that I go to autumn, was unable to do my green chrome nails the first time. I have never experienced this amount of overt RACISM and GASLIGHTING. Please DO NOT come here for any services, ESPECIALLY if you are BLACK. They will CALL THE POLICE if you're black and dissatisfied with their service. These people only care amount making money off of you and show no empathy or care! Truly disgusting. I had the worst experience of my life yesterday. I booked a lash appointment at noon with Stephanie. She was beyond incompetent. The girl spent an hour installing the lashes to one eye, while simultaneously removing them and wanting me to open my eyes and "check" her work every 15 minutes. The glue was getting into my eye and all over my eyelid. The lashes were clumped together! I immediately told her to stop and get someone else to remove them because she clearly did not what the hell she was doing and I was suffering in the process. The woman at the front desk, Diana, came in to "help." I told her what was going on and she immediately gaslit me! She basically told me that this is "normal" and when I mentioned the time it was taking her response was "it takes 2 hours to install" which is a lie! I've been getting my lashes done for a few years and it's never taken TWO HOURS. No apology, no empathy. It was if my discomfort and dissatisfaction was irrelevant. ZERO accountability was taken. I was over it. Eventually she offered a half assed apology and offered to reapply them, at this point I no longer wanted the service and asked to remove them. The process was pure HELL. My eye was on fire, and the removal made it worse! Whatever solution was used felt like acid was being poured into my eye. At one point I screamed because of the PAIN! Now I am in tears. Next thing I know she ran out the room and the "manager" came in. This man did not even acknowledge me or ask me what was wrong. He immediately accused me of having "behavioral problems" and how this is "his business" and proceeded to CALL THE POLICE?!!!! I walk out to leave because this was escalating beyond reason. I get to the front door and it's LOCKED!!! These people were trying to hold me AGAINST MY WILL in their shop!!! By the Grace of God I unlocked the door and left! They would not have done this if I were a WHITE WOMAN. This was a lesson learned for me never to get services from people who do not look like me because the treatment is worse than an animal! So, I am very disappointed to write this review because I thought I had found my nail place, however I feel like I gave them the appropriate number of chances and they failed. I have been to this store a few times and this will be the 2nd time I had to go back because of a bad job. I understand new people have to learn, but the patron should be made aware, and if they are not happy with the job they should be willing to accommodate. Ruby did my nails this last time and they looked very bad. The coats were poorly distributed, the polish was too thick. When I asked one of th more seasoned people at the shop about my nails, he said "oh its fine, it just needs another coat." It's annoying because people just don't care about quality anymore. I had to ask her several times to redo a nail then she would try to hurry and put my hand in the UV light so I couldn't see, there was 1 point where I had to pull my hand away from her to look at where she messed up. I went to Q nails for eyebrow micro blading. I have very thin eyebrows after cancer and heard how this would make things easier and look so much better. I met with the technician before hand and she told me exactly what she was going to do. Unfortunately the results were terrible. They are the complete wrong color, they are uneven and the wrong shape. I went back to the owner to discuss it and ask for a refund so I could get them fixed elsewhere but he refused and said the person is a contractor and he has no control. I paid the salon, not a contractor. I went to a brow salon and we mapped out a whole plan to correct this by removing the color and redoing the brows. If you go here for SNS, ask for Will. He is so talented! Your nails will all be the same length, same shape and will be pure perfection each time. And he can do like any design imaginable. He listens, really sweet and enjoys what he does! So 5 stars for him! What I have noticed lately is that this place is money hungry. SNS: $40. With almond shape: $5 additional dollars. Even if your nails are already in this shape, each visit you still pay $5. Credit or debit card: 3% fee added. This to me is so petty! This is a cost of doing business. If your merchant services company is charging you too much, then look around for a better company with lower fees. It's unreasonable to pass this cost on to the customer. It seems like any way that they can tack on another fee, they will. My last visit I had 385 points and the lady who did my nails (not Will cuz he was out that day) told them that I had these points and the guy checking me out kind of tried to quiet her down. When I asked what happens with those point, I was told that I could get $10 off my visit. So I said yes, let's do it! But guess what? I was charged $65 dollars ($45 for SNS +almond, $20 to remove gel polish off toes). No $10 discount. When I asked to clarify he said the $65 was after the discount which is a lie! As much as I love this place, I'm done coming here. And I suggest that they use the money that they erroneously charge and clean this place up! It's cluttered, dull and dusty. read more

The lady who was providing me the service was Asian, younger with short brown hair. She did my manicure fine, but when she used the pumice stone on my dry skin on the side of the foot, she was so rough and careless, she made me bleed pretty bad. I could have forgiven her if she was being careful, but she was OBVIOUSLY being rough. Her arms were FLYING UP AND DOWN really hard and fast. I have no clue how she could have thought that she could file my feet like that and not cause PAIN and BLEEDING. If I didn't stop her because of the pain, she would have hurt me more! After that, she tried to forget the incident and make conversation like nothing happened. At the end, she was expecting me to pay full price for it, but I demanded a discount. She hurt me pretty bad. She gave me ONLY $5 off, I don't think that's enough for the amount of skin she pulled off. Most places would have taken it off the price almost completely. She was totally being careless and rough! Was quickly seated and helped. However the woman doing my hands rushed through my SNS leaving edges rough and sticking to my skin. No wonder because she left right after I guess since it was the end of her shift. She was one layer in on only two fingers but refused to start over. Probably because she wanted to leave anyways because she left immediately after she finished with me. She clipped some of my cuticles at the end then charged me a few dollars for it as if that was worth it. It was just for the up charge. Pedicurist was very nice and did an amazing job, however, she did gel without me asking which was a slick up-charge. I've never had gel so I wasn't sure what was happening until the end. So I was charged almost double of what I was expecting to on my toes. I called before I got to see if I had time and they said yes. So if it is too rushed tell me there isn't enough time! The results end up being bad and you lose customers. I am not coming back. They are quick but don't do a great job all around and up charge me on things I never asked for. First time getting nails done in a year due to covid and my visit here left me wanting. My cuticles hurt because of the powder is still touching my skin in places and I'm having to file them down AFTER I paid money for someone to do that. I could see other people were being taken care of while there but rushing through my nails to leave for the day was ridiculous because I am a paying customer just like anyone else there.
