I love the flavor. The person at the counter had an accent so it was kinda hard to understand her but I'm not Mexican but I figured if out. The scene is nice but when I was there a window on the outside was broken. When you're there idk but they might have fixed it. The music was just the right volume the Ambiance was so chill. I WOULD recommend

Cold, messy nachos that look like vomit. Do you see one chip?

This is the WORST restaurant in all of Fredericksburg! That is sad, because there are some pretty bad places here. I am new to the area, and was happy to see that they had Qdoba, because I prefer it to Chipotle...The first time I went to Qdoba, there was a Hispanic lady with really light hair, it was almost gold when I walked up to order. She was so beyond nasty. When I came in she let out the loudest sigh. Then she moved around doing anything but helping me, and refused to look at me. I was the only one there. I eventually walked out and went to BJs, they were great. Qdoba had a pick up special on DoorDash. I ordered the cheese crusted quesadilla, ground beef Nachos, and a veggie burrito bowl. There was definitely no cheese on the quesadilla, and it was bland and sad. The Nachos were an absolute mess, cold, and there wasn't one chip in them. They looked like vomit. The bowl got so soggy that it ripped, and spilled on me. The burrito bowl was cold, flavorless, and the veggies tasted burnt. This meal was inedible. When I picked up the food, the staff kept arguing about what was part of my order and someone else's. They put things in my bag, and took them out a few times. The 2 girls at the register were at least decent to me, they were both heavy set. There was another woman who was really thin that was putting the food together. She had put 2 folded bags of chips on top of my order. I had also ordered a side of queso. She was the one that kept instigating the arguments. When the girl at the register said the chips were supposed to have a side of queso, she stormed off, and threw the 2 bags. Between her, and the other woman there the other day, I've never seen such immaturity, unprofessionalism, and absolute ridiculousness. I would never in a million years return here. The staff is ridiculous, and the food is a disgusting mess.

They did well for a chipotle knockoff. Big burrito and quick line service.

This place sucks, it is over priced and horrible. They skimp you horribly on the meat even if you pay for extra meat. I will not be back.

As a longtime Cookout fan who first discovered the chain during late night college runs in North Carolina, I always make a point to stop by whenever I'm near one of their northernmost locations in Fredericksburg, VA. Over the years, Cookout has come a long way from the plain white Styrofoam trays to the new branded paper boxes with vent holes, which do a great job of keeping fried foods crispy and fresh. I've dined inside this location about half a dozen times and have always had a great experience. The restaurant is consistently clean, the staff are friendly, and service is quick. My go to order is the Cookout Tray with a big double burger prepared Cookout Style, which means Carolina chili, slaw, cheese, and raw onions. I usually get fries and onion rings as my sides. Even though the tray used to be $3.99 back in my college days, the current price of $6.99 still feels like a great value considering the portion size and quality. On my most recent visit, I was extra hungry and decided to try a second mini tray for $5.99. I went with two corndogs as the main and added cheese bites and hush puppies as sides, plus a Snickers milkshake to top it off. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly how I remember it. The milkshake was thick and creamy, just the way it should be, and I was absolutely stuffed by the end. Cookout's big double burgers, whether you get them Cookout Style or Cheddar Style with grilled onions, cheese sauce, and bacon, are easily some of the best fast food burgers for the price. Between the generous portions, variety of options, and late night hours (many locations stay open until 3 a.m.), Cookout continues to deliver on both taste and value. Overall, this Fredericksburg location has never disappointed me and remains one of my favorite stops when I'm craving a classic Cookout meal. Five stars all around for great food, friendly service, and consistent quality.

And I did like the fact that the food was cooked to order so it was very fresh. I did not visit the restroom so I can't speak to the status of the cleanliness. The soda fountain could have been a little cleaner. Everything was very sticky, and the tray was overflowing. The tables and around the tables were clean.. The hush puppies, biscuits, and the macaroni and cheese were the best I've ever had from a fast food restaurant. As for the chicken, it smelled amazing. Unfortunately, from my taste, I found it very salty and greasy. The chicken was well flavored, but it was just way too salty for me I also tried their banana pudding and unfortunately, once again, at least from my taste, it was lacking the right flavors. I did try their honey butter chicken biscuit sandwich I found that to be delicious So for that alone, it's totally worth a trip. I did forget to take a picture of banana pudding and the honey butter biscuit sandwich

There stood a cheerful young lady with a tablet beside the speaker box, hustling orders with the urgency of an air traffic controller at Reagan National. Now I will give them this -- they move people through faster than a tax refund disappears in Washington. I ordered three chicken finger baskets and repeated "unsweetened tea" enough times that it should have become part of the permanent record. Reconfirmed it at the second window too. We were in and out in four minutes flat, carrying enough Styrofoam and paper sacks to feed a Little League team. Six minutes later at home, the first sip of tea hit like liquified hummingbird feeder. That "unsweetened" tea had enough sugar in it to put the city of Fredericksburg on insulin monitoring. Somewhere in that kitchen a man clearly believes every Southerner measures tea sweetness by whether the spoon can stand upright in the cup. Then came the fries. Lord help us. These were pale, limp crinkle fries that looked less "fresh fried" and more "recently thawed beside a space heater." Not a hint of crispness. No golden-brown glory. Just soft potato strips lying in the tray like they had accepted defeat long before reaching the fryer. The chicken itself? Tiny little one-inch strips hiding under enough crunchy batter to qualify as exterior siding. Crispy, yes. Generous, no. More breading than bird. The Texas toast arrived soggy enough to make you wonder if it had been steamed instead of toasted. Calling that "Texas toast" is an insult to a state that once fought a war over standards. The lone survivor in this culinary rodeo was the sauce. That special sauce is carrying the entire franchise on its back like a weary mule climbing Pike's Peak. I finally asked my grandson if he had eaten there before. He admitted he had not. He'd simply been told it was great and figured nobody could really mess up chicken fingers and fries. Well. Humanity continues to innovate. Strike Raising Cane's from the regular rotation unless it is 2:00 in the morning, every other restaurant in Virginia is dark, and your soul is screaming for fried chicken through the fog of poor decisions.

When I walked in, the young lady serving me was leaning against a table with her gloved hands. She then came over to assist me while carrying on a conversation with another employee who had walked through the swinging doors. During the conversation, she used the same gloved hand to hold the door open. She then proceeded to grab my bowls and serve my food with those same gloves. Afterward, she went to the register and handled my payment without removing or changing her gloves. After I paid, I watched her take her cell phone out of her pocket and scroll on it while still wearing the same gloves. This is a basic food-safety concern. Gloves can become contaminated just as hands can, and they need to be changed frequently, especially after touching doors, personal items, money, or other potentially contaminated surfaces. Hands should also be washed appropriately between glove changes and food-handling tasks. Before handling clean plates or bowls and serving food, she should have put on a fresh pair of gloves, and those gloves should have been removed after handling the bagged food and before moving on to other tasks. I truly enjoy the food and would like to continue supporting the business, which is why I'm bringing this to your attention. Please consider retraining your staff on proper glove use, handwashing, and food-handling procedures. These are fundamental food-safety practices, and I hope this concern is taken seriously.
