New Management SUCKS! This place was amazing four years ago when I first discovered it. The portion sizes were huge. At some point things changed, first the burritos lost at least a third of their size, maybe more. It was disappointing but the flavor was still there so I kept ordering, just not as often anymore. However, recently I've discovered the chips they charge 7 bucks for that used to come in a big take-out bag is now less than a quarter of what it used to be. Unbelievable! Awful quality. We just received a delivery order containing two meals... The staff was kind enough to send FIFTEEN plastic forks in the bag, yes, fifteen (how wasteful) but figured that putting huge chunks completely raw fajita veggies on our burrito bowls was acceptable. My bowl was a vegetarian bowl, so I was literally paying for veggies that I couldn't eat because they were disgusting. I would have happily traded my fifteen forks for veggies that were actually cooked. I eat here pretty frequently, but I'm sad to say quality has taken a nose-dive. I appreciate they give younger adults a chance to work, but more time should be spent teaching professional demeanor and behavior to them. There was far too much playing around for my taste while the customers were left standing and waiting for their attention. The food prep area is usually a horror show. The counters are filthy dirty, food going everywhere. Needed food items the containers are nearly empty or sloppy as in the guacamole tins are covered with browning guac in the edges. There always seems to be a scrape the bottom of the bowl going on with the fajita veggies and meats and the only abundant item is the pinto beans. They always seem to be scraping the bottom of the bins for mats to prepare the items, which means someone is going to be getting shorted in their burritos or something. They almost never have fajita veggies ready to go. Either the bin is dragging empty or they piled it up with veggies they didn't even cook in a rush to put SOMETHING in there. If we pay full price, we shouldn't get half or third servings. which brings up the next point. Inconsistent servings. Some servers pile on like mad so the burritos can no longer be closed, others are so skimpy it's more like taquito than a burrito. Cleanliness is a real problem here. I saw someone washing out a mop in the sink the employees are supposed to wash their hands with. Consistently, the employees use the same dirty rag they are wiping down surfaces with to wipe INSIDE the food bins. I can usually expect a few days of stomach hazards after eating there every third or forth time. There is no vegetarian or pescetarian (which I am) options other than paying full price minus a few cents for a bowl of rice, some beans and the few skimpy fajita veggies if you are lucky enough to have gotten the scraped barrel dregs. I love Qdoba, don't get me wrong. I just need this location to step up their game. They once were fantastic, now they are an exercise in disappointment. So I am changing my original 5 star recommendation to a 2 star don't go here. Let's hope they turn things around. read more

We ordered online for pickup but when we got in the drive thru, they insisted that they didn't have our order. They said they turned off online orders for their location, but they couldn't have, because I was there with a confirmation number for lunch that I paid for. When we showed them the order they said it must be for the Mill Creek Town Center location. There is no town center location. The closest one is over by PCC on Bothell Everett Highway but that's not the address on the order. We even tried clicking the address link in the confirmation email to gps to the "right" place but it just took us back to the same Qdoba. Couldn't get a refund or my food and they were incredibly rude about it. We tried going to corporate about getting our money back but the website said to see the individual location for refunds. Looking for a place to satisfy your Chipotle craving? Look no further! And why would you ever go back to Chipotle? I still don't trust that supply chain . Anyways... I always preferred Qdoba over Chipotle for two main reasons. 1) The guacamole is NOT extra $! 2) Wait times are always manageable. This location has friendly staff. They are always so nice to us and generous with portions. The restaurant is clean so I would be comfortable eating on there. Never have I ever seen anything like I saw at this store tonight. The staff was turning in store customers away for online orders. As a person with 25 years of restaurant experience and a Masters Degree in Hospitality this would never been ok. If anything the online ordering system should have been put on pause while the diners coming into the restaurant were served. One employee who I assume was the manager kept cutting the person making food for my wife and I off to fill online orders. Fortunately we got there be for the shutdown in person dining. Where to start... My girlfriend and I went here after we went to the gym 45 min before the scheduled close time posted online and on the door(10:30). The very first thing we are greeted with at the door was a Kid telling us that they were closing but we will close after you two order, as if he was doing us a favor. Told us "not to rush" but kept pestering us with questions trying to get us to hurry up. Not once helping the one girl helping us. They were missing basic things like a tray to make the food, utensils to serve the food, things like that. I actually felt bad for the girl helping us, there were 6 people on staff and she was the only one helping us. Which baffled me, the rest of them just sat back and did nothing. The manager kept pestering her to hurry, I have never seen such unprofessional service in my life. Not only was he not doing anything but pestering everyone so he could leave, not even in any uniform just a baggy black sweatshirt and a hat. 20 min later they finally finish the Quesadilla, 3 tacos, and one Taco salad we ordered. The manager was ringing us up, when two more people walk in (10:05) and the manager being overly dramatic said " you have to be kidding me" in front of us about the customers that just walked through the door. Updated!!!! I don't know if the manager that is there now is new but this locations seems to have done a complete turnaround. The service is better, portions are consistent and the manager and the staff are friendlier. The manager is actually training the staff and it's great to see! I'm addicted to the queso! I've been a lover of Qdoba for many many years. Unfortunately this location does not make their product as good as other locations. I get nachos every time and they are so small compared to other locations so that's my only disappointment. Yesterday was the first super hot day in the area and you could tell that no one wanted to cook food because this place was packed. We joined the line of 10 people at our local QDOBA and expected it to be a long, painful wait. Your staff at this location (specifically at 7:30pm on 6/12/19) was amazing. Even with the line being so long, they were patient and kind. No food options were out, and they were working like a well oiled-machine cooking more food. I honestly was shocked. One of your employees even continued to say hello and "have a nice day" to anyone who walked in or walked out of the building. This experience was WAY above my expectations on a busy night. Each time they were rude, super slow - no rush at all - the restaurant isn't clean and the last two times they said it would be a 45 minute wait to cook more chicken. It was me, my wife and my son who went there to eat last night. Since it was three of us so instead of talking care of our order she was more worried about the person who was waiting behind us because he had to wait for his turn. Seemed like a total discrimination to us. They were out of fajita veggies so we had to wait, so it took longer for them to make our food but instead of apologizing to us she was super mad at us that we were getting three things since it was three us there. When I first walked in, the restaurant smelled like fresh Mexican food. Everyone looked clean and organized. The line was very clean and the food looked fresh. I decided to stop by after work to get some food for my kids and unfortunately there was a lady who was probably ready to leave because I ordered some food and she kind of started fighting with the coworkers talking about she is tired and she is been working to many hours and at the end she splashed some cheese on me when she put the metal scoop back in to the cheese.
