    Steak Fajita Quesadilla
    Alex C.

I had never heard of the Qdoba chain before this visit. But we happened to be nearby and decided to stop by for a quick grab-n-go order. Our orders wound up taking a bit longer than expected, but the people behind the counter were extremely kind and apologetic. When one of the workers overheard my pregnant wife start to grumble about the wait, they very thoughtfully offered her a free cup to get a drink. I opted for the Steak Fajita Quesadilla combo, and really enjoyed the delicious quesadilla! The ingredients were fresh and well stuffed, including a generous amount of guacamole, and the portion size was definitely large. Overall a really great value for our money, and we won't hesitate to come again the next time we find ourselves in the neighborhood!

Burrito bowl with grilled steak, pinto beans, pickled red onions, tortilla strips, fresh cilantro, shredded cheese, and guac

I stumbled upon Qdoba's new location at Ygnacio Valley Plaza while running some errands and decided to give it a try. I've seen Qdoba in airports around the country, but I don't think I've seen one in the Bay Area until now. Going along with the "build-it-as-you-like" concept, I ordered a bowl with a base of cilantro rice and grilled steak, and I went crazy with the toppings. I got shredded cheese, pinto beans, guac, pico de gallo, pickled red onions, fresh cilantro, and tortilla strips. The best part is that the toppings (including guac) are included in the price of the meal. The burrito bowl was delicious and filling - my favorite part was the topping of tangy, pickled red onions. Plus, there was a generous serving of steak and guac in my bowl. I will definitely be back to order another burrito bowl soon!

Thanks to T-Mobile Tuesdays I was Finally able to try this Place. I'm over Chipotle not giving Enough meat in their servings and having to pay for Guacamole on an Already expensive burrito The Good - Allows For Various Toppings Good Queso . The Bad- Didn't Have Freshness to it Not enough Meat Average Service not even a Thank You Burrito Seemed Kind of Cold Location isn't ideal because of Parking but inside seems pretty Cool Verdict: I will give it one more Shot and Try a Burrito Bowl hopefully I can get more Meat. Mexican Grill such as this and Chipotle love to get you to pay for Extra meat but it's really not extra. I'm hoping I'm Wowed the Second Time around

I'm not going to compare this to Chipotle because that would be a mistake. I will say however that if you want some quick Mexican food that taste reasonably great definitely go here. we had the queso dip which was actually really good. However, the chips were very salty. Additionally, I got the chicken bowl and they really pilot on with vegetables and lots of rice with a minimum amount of chicken.

Made an online order, food was ready on time, and staff is attentive and friendly. A vegetarian bowl is $9.95 which is a good deal, plenty of food. For the queso lovers they have 2 kinds (regular and spicy). I don't eat chipotle so I can't compare, but I thought everything was fresh and good. I liked the pickled onions and jalapeños to top it off. I would have loved some more lettuce and cilantro, but that's just a personal preference. The salsas aren't my favorite, but overall no real complaints. If I was nearby and hungry I would come back.

We started with the chips and salsa, and they were a great way to kick things off. The chips tasted fresh and were perfectly crispy. Both the red and green salsas had really good flavor without being overly spicy. We also ordered spicy margaritas, and the bartender definitely knew what they were doing. The drinks were well-balanced with just the right amount of heat. For our entrees, we ordered the burrito, carne plate, enchiladas, and the bee salad. The standout was definitely the carne--it was incredibly tender and practically melted in your mouth. It was cooked perfectly. The burrito was absolutely massive and packed with flavor, while the enchiladas tasted homemade and were comforting and delicious. Everyone at the table left happy. Overall, it was a great dining experience with delicious food, excellent drinks, and attentive service despite how busy they were. We'll definitely be back--especially because their brunch menu is next on our list!

The one thing that really stands out to me about Bar Camino though is their bartenders. Very friendly and 100% on top of their games no matter how busy they get. Most of the time my lemonade was refilled before I even asked, no matter how many tickets were on the rail waiting to be filled. A few menu tweaks, including seasoning, and they should be able to elevate their overall game on the backs of their strong staff.

The zucchini was cooked perfectly and not overcooked or soggy at all, which made the whole burrito taste fresh and flavorful. We also got the appetizer with the chips, zucchini, arugula, and cheese and that ended up being one of my favorite dishes. Everything paired together really well and had a lot of flavor without feeling too heavy. I also tried the mango margarita with tajín on the rim and really liked it because it wasn't overly sweet. Super refreshing and balanced. The Dude ordered the chicken enchiladas with verde sauce and really enjoyed those as well. Customer service was also really good. They checked on us periodically throughout the meal and everyone was friendly and attentive without hovering. Overall the restaurant felt clean, relaxed, and comfortable. I noticed how enthused and attentive they were to other patrons in comparison to how they were with me and my daughter. I'll leave it at that. I purchased a chicken burrito, a steak burrito (burritos came with potato chips), a mango margarita, and a cheesecake. Pros- the food is fresh and made with quality ingredients. The mango margarita.... Best thing I ordered! Cons- Burritos lacked flavor and was pretty unremarkable. The cheesecake. Idk if it was spoiled or a different type of cheesecake but it didn't taste good at all. My daughter ate it bc she's greedy lol and said that it tastes "interesting". I do feel like the food we ordered is not prepared the way I'm familiar with, so I'll own that. BUT flavor is flavor and this place did not do it for me at all.

Every bite was juicy and addicting - just kept wanting more bites after another. They had a sauce that my friend and I kept adding and it was very delicious. A little kick or a lot of spice really elevates the food even more. The super birria quesadilla definitely fulfills the price you pay for it and more. Im pleased to hear they do look into these things and try to make things whole. I've been to this restaurant a dozen times since working in alamo in the past. Last time I'm coming here. I placed a phone order for a REGULAR al pastor burrito earlier. The amount of meat was miniscule compared to the beans and rice BTW. When I got there they gal read the tag that had my phone order for a REGULAR burrito. I was charged $17 but with tax it was over $18. I called later in the day and the lady on the phone said the regular is 12.99. Im lactose intolerant so I don't do dairy which the super has. Anyways I find this business practice repulsive and will not be returning. I hope this review gets views and reconsider patronizing at this establishment. Huge thumbs down. They don't seem to value customers. I called them after finding out they did me dirty overcharging me. The employee told me the owner/management was out of town. I reached out to them on instagram in attempt to inform ownership/management of what is happening. The person responding on instagram told me they are out of town. I never got a follow up from them. Who knows if they actually investigated what happened because I didn't get a follow up. I could care less about the extra few dollars they took. If they have an employee intentionally overcharging then they need to correct it. It's simple as that. All the info is in the photo I included in the review if they choose to investigate.

The food came with complimentary tortilla chips and a salsa dip with frijoles. The dip and Chios were fresh and the salsa with blended with frijoles was enjoyable. The crunchy tacos were fried nicely and had a good amount of filling. I thinking about trying carnitas as the filling but there a bit of a charge. The tamale was pretty good.
