General Tso's Chicken was pretty good, albeit quite different than typical General Tso's everywhere else serves. More akin to spicy orange chicken. Dining area is smaller but service was good and food fresh. read more

Absolute favorite Chinese food in the area! I look forward to leaving the island if it means I get to pick up Qing Qing... Some of the favs are the amazing butter chicken and Mongolian beef! Picked up order to go around 1:30pm today. Ordered two lunch specials egg rolls and fried dumplings. It was more quantity then quality once again tired tasting food. The egg rolls were greasy as if they had been sitting around with sour flavor . Dumplings tasty but greasy sauce exceptional. No reason to return saw staff member smoking in the kitchen. And how inconsiderate is it to take orders while talking in your IPhone ear buds. Very inconsiderate! read more

I love the food and service here. The food is always fresh and hot when they give you your order. I would recommend the General TSO'S chicken or the black pepper chicken. Everything there is delicious but those two are my favorite. read more

We are regular customers. The prices for decent chinese is just to good to pass up. Our favorite is the fried won tons with cream cheese - delicious and only $4 for 8. Great lunch prices. The food varies - very good hot and sour soup - some stir frys were bland and uninteresting with tired vegetables. Pass up the BBQ chicken on the appetizer - it is dry and tough. Sesame chicken is great. A recommended lunch spot. Dinning room is cramped and service is spotty. read more

Food is ok. Service and friendliness is horrible. I have tried placing an order over the phone never said hello or thank you. His greeting was "what do you want to order" when I placed my order he said "10 minutes" and hung up. I called back and said I just placed and order and you hung up on me.... I wanted to know how much it was and how long (he spoke so fast I couldn't understand when he told me the time limit). His response "I told you 10 minutes" (with an attitude). I told I couldn't hear him. He said "is there anything else you want?" I told him yeah cancel my order. I'm never going to this place again! Good was pretty good, the best was the general tso's, chicken fried rice had unseasoned chicken and was very bland. Service is also not the best. Overall if I was in the area I would come back just for the General Tso's. read more

The food here is so hot, fresh, and you get a good size serving. We have been eating here ever since it opened. We have never been disappointed with the service or food. Our favorites are the broccoli beef, beef fried rice, house low mein, and the sweet sour chicken, and Qing Qing has the best we have ever eaten anywhere. I was very sad when my favorite restaurant (Pho Hoang) where the current gus is left Texas City. Now one of my new favorite restaurants is this little gem in the rough Qing Qing pronounced "CHING CHING". So far i have eaten here 8 times and tried something different every time without being disappointed. The price is a little higher than others but the quality makes it worth it. The owner is very nice and seems to care about his customers. Hopefully this place does well and stays, fortunes is the only oriental joint in tc that has lasted 10+ years if i recall correctly. Give this place a shot you wont be let down. read more

Not a traditional fan of Chinese take out. But this place is awesome. Had the Hunan Beef. Hope to try the Pineapple Shrimp next time. Excellent egg roll. Will defiantly be returning. So happy that they are there. Way better than across the street. read more

We went there for the first and last time today. I ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and my boyfriend ordered some spicy beef meal. When they brought out the egg roll it looked good. I tried it and could instantly tease cinnamon. Doesn't go. And I had him try it and he spit it out. I tried it with some soy sauce and it made it worse. I spit it out this time. He got the egg drop soup and I must say it was good. When my food came out the fried rice was cold and had no flavor at all. The shrimp where very greasy and all I could taste was bad fish. Finally his food came out about 5 minuets later and he had to send it back because there where mushrooms in it. Mind you what he ordered didn't come with mushrooms. So we decided to go and not eat. He still paid for the drinks. The lady I guess owns the place was not happy because she made him pay an extra 2 dollars and said we waisted her food. I really wanted to say your food was disgusting but I kept my mouth shut. I would not recommend this place at all. There are much much better places then this. read more

Great food at very reasonable prices. It's nice to find a local place that offers lots of vegetarian options. Food is delicious and well prepared. I've tried most of the vegetarian options on the menu and enjoyed them all. They'll also substitute tofu in many of their other dishes. read more
