We were craving crab legs but didn't want to spend a lot for the buffets on the strip. This place was about 15 min or so from the strip. The restaurant is big with plenty of seating and space in between. It has a hibachi station , ramen/udon/pho station and sushi station. I plus there is two large islands of hot foods and two additional large islands of cold foods and desserts. Unfortunately a lot of the food were empty or closed to being empty and not being refilled or was taking a while to get refilled. Since we were there for the crab legs, we were very disappointed with the fact that they refill every 20 min instead of refilling once it was empty. They have a sign that states it's refilled every 20 min and a limit of 6 legs per person at a time. My first plate I waited in line since it was empty at the time. Once they finally brought out a batch, it literally was only a large mixing bowl of crab legs they came out with and luckily I was able to get some. Unfortunately the amount they brought out was only enough for about 6-7 people. They only brought out two small batches before we gave up on trying to get any. A lot of the food looked like it had been sitting for a long time. Again, a lot of the food was near empty or completely empty and wasn't being refilled. The sushi wasn't good as the rice was mushy and the fish looked ehh. The food from the hot bars didn't meet my standards so I didn't even bother trying the hibachi or ramen/udon/pho stations because at that point I was over it. Once we decided we were done and ready to leave, I went to wash my hands and as I was walking back to my table to get the family to go, I walked under a water leaking coming from the roof and wasn't even told to go around when the workers knew what was going on and where standing right there. Definitely never going back if I'm ever in town or if we decide to move to Vegas. Worst buffet experience ever and was a total waste of our time and money.

On a recent visit, I had the Shredded Green Papaya Salad, which was unlike anything I have ever had before. Sweet, sour, salty, spicy and crunchy - it was delicious. I thought it to be a healthy alternative to a traditional salad. I also ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai. It came with three skewers of medium sized grilled shrimp, along with the traditional noodles and crushed peanuts on the side. I got mine medium spicy and it had the right amount of "kick" to it. The portion was generous and I took the rest home and got two more meals out of it. We finished with the Mango Mania sticky rice rolls. They come with a sesame coconut dipping sauce. These are exceptional!!! Do not pass on the dessert! I would come here just for that! Wash it all down with a Thai Boba Tea. You do not feel like you are eating fast food. "NY style is typically Cantonese style , vegetable heavy in Americanized dishes like the chow mein and "chop suey" General whoever's chicken etc. . NY style egg rolls are not the wimpy little thin skinned spring rolls, but rather thicker skin deep fried creations heavy on the cabbage. I've had NY style rice flavored with saffron (or yellow food coloring) here it's plain steamed rice and the typical fried rice has more soy than other Chinese sub genres. Ok, foodology lecture over. We stopped in for lunch, the kids were back from school helping mom and dad out, you still either order at the counter or take a menu back to your seat. (This place is mostly take out now). Food is served in take out containers or paper plates . The take out containers work for us since we never finish everything. Lunch specials are pretty typical and are priced comparatively. My dining companion had the shrimp and veggie lunch special . What stood out were the 5 large fresh shrimp and a very generous portion of fresh broccoli and zucchini . The lomein was simple with a decent amount of soy. Her egg drop soup was piping hot. I opted for country tofu which was braised tofu chunks with brown sauce and veggies. Served with steamed rice. Now I am a sucker for their traditional egg rolls (not the wimpy spring rolls) so I ordered them as well. Tea was served in a pot (no teabag but real tea). We ate our fill, chatted with the owner a bit and packed our stuff to go home. Always a pleasure to dine here for an affordable Chinese style meal

There was more cabbage than pork and again dull. Please Asian wok change your chef and do better because I had high hopes but throwing away dinner especially when I'm 6 months pregnant wasn't the best for my family.
