Always searching for new place to try Bún Mâm so saw this on social media so we went there and give it a try. This place has limited menu and exclusively to bún (vermicelli noodles). The speciality is Bún in the hot stone bowls or you can request in a regular bowl. We tried the house special Bún mam and the hot stone Bún Bò Huê'. Compares to other places the Bún mam is a bout 8/10. Generous portion of meat and fixings. The broth is not there yet. The Bún Bò Huê' is so so. Again, there is not enough to burst flavor for this soup noodles bowl. The condiments to go with these bowl Noodles is fantastic. Pile high of bean sprouts, all sorts of mints and shredded banana bulb. Service was great. They do charge 3% fees for credit card users.

I love how the Vietnamese coffee has a thick authentic texture to it and a hint of coconut flavor. You have to let the ice melt a bit for the full experience, soooo delicious. The hot stone BBH was great. I love a good bun Bo hue, and adding your own level of spice and oils makes you be able to customize your bowl to perfection. You know a place is good when they only have a few items on their menu. Excited to try their other items! Service was great and this place got super packed 4 lunch!

Came here with my family while I was visiting them while in CA. My brother wanted to come here to try as it was recommended by one of his customers. We got there around the in-between lunch and dinner time frame (lunner). The restaurant isn't too big, think cozy, I can see it being crowded once it gets busy. Got seated right away - we all pretty much ordered the BBH special with a giant beef short rib bone. Soup came super hot since it was in a stone bowl which keeps it way hotter than traditional bowls. Overall, I thought the soup was pretty tasty, fragrant and really to the point of what the soup should be. You can add all the side essentials to the soup like you would to phó.

This is the kind of place you go on a COLD RAINY day and it will hit the spot to warm up your soul! The extra stone hot pot does really keep your broth hot the entire time as you are eating it. We got the Bun Bo Hue and it was pretty good, but did lean more so on the pungent side with the shrimp paste. For the price, you are paying for the extra work of the restaurant heating up your hot bowl because the portion was not too big like some others that sell bbq. Service was efficient, food came out quickly, but nothing too notable.

Just ok good but cool concept! We ordered banh canh and the bun bo hue served in a hot stone pot. It was definitely PIPING hot so we had to wait for it to cook down a bit. Flavor was just ok, a bit too salty and small portion size for the bun bo hue. Services were fast and they're great tho!

First Visit Today For Hot Soup On A HOT Day! The Restaurant Is Located On Westminster Blvd & Newland. It's In The Same Center As Seafood Paradise. I Was Hoping For AC, But The Door Was Open With A Fan Running. I Was Perspiring & The Soup Made Up For It!!! It Was Pretty Good. They Only Offer 2 Types Of Noodle Soups! I Had The Bún Bò Thố Đá. The Broth Comes In What Looks Like A Small 'Hot Pot' Bowl & Keeps The Broth Really Hot!! The Noodles, Beef Slices & Crispy Roasted Pork (2) Pieces Come Out Separate.

After seeing this spot on social media. I had to try it. Hard to find a good bun Bo hue spot and I was hoping this was it. 18 bucks is the special that includes a bone. Meat was cooked well. The rare beef on the side is chewy. Soup is super hot. Give you lots of veggies and noodles on the side. The bad. Broth was just missing flavor. Needed maybe more lemon grass flavor or Bbh essence. The sate. Is not the right one for me. I prefer the one with chunks of lemongrass in it. This was more like the dim sum sate. Overall it was just an ok bowl to me. Missed too many marks for me to add to my rotation

I really like the food here, especially bun bo hue It comes with a huge beef short rib, a pork foot, and various toppings for $18. The soup was boiling hot when it came. After a while the soup was still very warm. The broth was fragrant and pure, not oily. A bunch of different types of herbs were served with it. 5/5 Bun mam was the other dish I ordered. I think there isn't enough topping in bun mam. But the broth is tasty, fermented, and clear. It came with a tamarin dipping sauce so that was unique. Toppings included 2 pieces of roasted pork, a couple of squid and small fish, and a couple fish cake. 3/5 I especially don't like the smelly atmosphere of this restaurant though. I understand that these food are smelly but other restaurants that serve these don't smell like this. Service was fast because the restaurant didn't have many customers when I visited.

Finally got to try this new restaurant and it was amazing. Kind of a hidden gem tucked in the Stater Bros shopping center. Service was quick and friendly on a Friday night. It got pretty busy at around 7-8pm. We ordered #1 and #2 bun Bo hue. One came with the short rib bone and the other was a regular option. Broth was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Lived that it came with plenty of meats, noodles and vegetables! They even have banana blossoms too. Hot stone kept soup hot the entire time. Restaurant was clean and family-ran. Would definitely be coming back soon!

Bun Bo Hue is delicious!! Kinda on the salty side for me But that's me .thumbs up for this place .

I tried the bún bò Huế served in a hot stone bowl. It came out sizzling and stayed hot for a long time, which was nice. The presentation was interesting and fun. The flavor was fine, but it did not really stand out compared to other places. It was still a decent bowl, but nothing too special.

Have been to this restaurant many times, and food is always consistent! Came visit to the restaurant last week, and ordered my favorite Grilled Escargot with Garlic Butter and Peppercorn, Grilled Scallops with Cheese, and my all-time favorite Chilean Sea Bass hot pot! The grilled escargots are a must-have when visiting this place! These are perfectly grilled with rich garlic butter for sweetness, and with a slight kick of spiciness from the peppercorn. Don't forget to also dip the escargot meat with black pepper and a few squeeze of fresh lime juice! If you like melted cheese, then the grilled scallops with cheese would be the perfect match. Each scallop is covered melted cheese and comes sizzling on a hot plate when ordered! Last but certainly not least, my favorite dish of this restaurant is the Chilean Sea Bass hot pot. The order comes with your own tabletop gas stove, along with a hot pot filled with a tom yum like sour soup base. For ingredients, it also includes a plate with slices of pineapple, quarter cut fresh tomato slices, fresh bean sprouts, rice noodles, and a full plate of large pieces of Chilean Sea Bass. Just put all the ingredients in the hot pot and let it cook for 5-10mins on high, I promise you it is one of the best soups you will ever have! Service is good as always. This place always seems to be busy, so you may have to be on the waitlist during certain business hours (eg holidays, prime dinner time, etc). Parking wise, the restaurant is located in a busy plaza, and so you may have to drive around a few times before finding an open spot. However as I said earlier, it's worth the wait. Highly recommended.

For me, the sauce was actually the star. Mix everything together and get yourself one delicious bite, filled with so much flavor. They open early, making it a perfect breakfast spot for an early bowl of pho. The pho broth is exactly what I want when I'm craving comfort food--clean, flavorful, and incredibly soothing. However, the star of the meal for me was the chả giò. Wow. Although they arrived after our pho, they came out at the perfect temperature.
