    BBH
    Jasmine W.

Love this place so much!! I come here pretty regularly and get the BBH. Out of all the places in OC, I would say this place has one of the most flavorful broths. I love their portion size and that everything stays hot the whole time due to the stone pots. Our bowl also comes with a rib bone so there's a lot of meat already including their meat balls, crab ball, tendon, beef slices, pig blood, and pig feet. Their service and ambience is always good. Servers are always attentive, food comes out fast, and the interior is pretty. Lots of parking in the front too. Definitely worth a try if you love BBH and you like a strong broth!

Food came in extra hot. Probably wasn't a good idea to eat piping hot food on a hot summer day but everything was delicious. They gave plentiful amount of meat. I wish they had more chili to make it extra spicy. There is no air conditioning and we sat close to the entrance so we were little sweating. Reminds me of Vietnam. I would love to try their Bánh Canh tôm cua next time!

We ordered the bun bo tho da dac biet and it was good. The broth is on the sweeter side sadly but it was still good either way. The only downside is that you barely get any noodles so the noodles to meat ratio is very off. The service was alright but the young man that was working the day I went was very nice!

Always searching for new place to try Bún Mâm so saw this on social media so we went there and give it a try. This place has limited menu and exclusively to bún (vermicelli noodles). The speciality is Bún in the hot stone bowls or you can request in a regular bowl. We tried the house special Bún mam and the hot stone Bún Bò Huê'. Compares to other places the Bún mam is a bout 8/10. Generous portion of meat and fixings. The broth is not there yet. The Bún Bò Huê' is so so. Again, there is not enough to burst flavor for this soup noodles bowl. The condiments to go with these bowl Noodles is fantastic. Pile high of bean sprouts, all sorts of mints and shredded banana bulb. Service was great. They do charge 3% fees for credit card users.

Really good bun bo hue and bun mam meat are super tender even the back rib It come out hot and stay hot the whole time the restaurant is a bit hot with no AC, or may be it is broken. Service is nice and friendly I"ll be back to try the other 2 items on the menu

I love how the Vietnamese coffee has a thick authentic texture to it and a hint of coconut flavor. You have to let the ice melt a bit for the full experience, soooo delicious. The hot stone BBH was great. I love a good bun Bo hue, and adding your own level of spice and oils makes you be able to customize your bowl to perfection. You know a place is good when they only have a few items on their menu. Excited to try their other items! Service was great and this place got super packed 4 lunch!

The food here is delicious and authentic. They have a small menu, but everything is fresh and yummy. They also got great service and the place is very clean. Highly recommended if you love some authentic Vietnamese Bún mắm, Bún bò Huế, and Bánh canh.

Came here with my family while I was visiting them while in CA. My brother wanted to come here to try as it was recommended by one of his customers. We got there around the in-between lunch and dinner time frame (lunner). The restaurant isn't too big, think cozy, I can see it being crowded once it gets busy. Got seated right away - we all pretty much ordered the BBH special with a giant beef short rib bone. Soup came super hot since it was in a stone bowl which keeps it way hotter than traditional bowls. Overall, I thought the soup was pretty tasty, fragrant and really to the point of what the soup should be. You can add all the side essentials to the soup like you would to phó.

This is the kind of place you go on a COLD RAINY day and it will hit the spot to warm up your soul! The extra stone hot pot does really keep your broth hot the entire time as you are eating it. We got the Bun Bo Hue and it was pretty good, but did lean more so on the pungent side with the shrimp paste. For the price, you are paying for the extra work of the restaurant heating up your hot bowl because the portion was not too big like some others that sell bbq. Service was efficient, food came out quickly, but nothing too notable.

Just ok good but cool concept! We ordered banh canh and the bun bo hue served in a hot stone pot. It was definitely PIPING hot so we had to wait for it to cook down a bit. Flavor was just ok, a bit too salty and small portion size for the bun bo hue. Services were fast and they're great tho!

I've been eating bún bò Huế for over 10 years, and this is the first time I've ever had an experience like this. It was my first time visiting this location, and unfortunately, I found what appeared to be several hair-like strands in my food. When I brought it to the staff's attention, I was told it was "just fat," but it didn't look like fat to me. Instead of taking my concern seriously, I felt like it was dismissed. Whether it was hair or not, I didn't feel comfortable continuing to eat my meal. I was really disappointed because I had been looking forward to trying this location. I hope they take food quality and customer concerns more seriously in the future.

Simple no frills viet restaurant w just two items on the menu - bun bo hue and bun mam. For the price it was worth imo Broth flavorful Loved the stone pot it kept everything boiling The bun mam is great lots of toppings Lots of parking Although small it was clean the restaurant Accepts cc

The servers are also super friendly and attentive, which definitely helps make the experience better. Just know that this restaurant is BUSY. Do not come expecting a quiet, slow-paced meal. The food comes out quickly, the place is loud because it's packed, and you can definitely feel the hustle and rush. But honestly? I keep craving the food here, so I brave the crowds and come back anyway. It's THAT good. One thing to note: definitely ask the servers about the menu, but don't feel like you have to order everything they recommend. Our server raved about the coconut prawns, which were $60, and unfortunately, they were not worth it for me. Long wait, loud atmosphere, questionable $60 prawns... but I'd still come back for the seafood.

Be prepared: this place is incredibly popular, especially during peak hours. Parking can definitely be challenging because of how busy it is. The last time I visited on a Monday, the lot was completely full, and I ended up parking on the street. The restaurant is also primarily cash only, so come prepared. They open early, making it a perfect breakfast spot for an early bowl of pho. The pho broth is exactly what I want when I'm craving comfort food--clean, flavorful, and incredibly soothing. However, the star of the meal for me was the chả giò. Wow. Although they arrived after our pho, they came out at the perfect temperature. I was hesitant to take a bite right away because freshly fried food usually burns my mouth, but these were just right. Crispy, airy, savory, and absolutely delicious. Paired with their fish sauce, it was perfection. I enjoyed the egg rolls so much that next time I'm definitely ordering the egg roll vermicelli bowl. Service was friendly and prompt despite how busy it was, and it's clear the staff works hard to keep things moving. One thing I love is seeing all of the awards and accolades displayed on the walls. Phở 79 received the prestigious James Beard America's Classics Award, and it's easy to understand why after one meal here. This restaurant is truly an Orange County icon. The restaurant will soon be moving to a new location, as signs throughout the restaurant announce the upcoming move.
