One of the better tasting torta places in San Antonio! The food was hot, made to order, & correct! It's a small place in the corner of a little shopping center and kind of easy to miss but don't be fooled by the small location! Everything was great! Ooo, also their chips and salsa have been on my mind ever since. Highly suggest if you love an intimate hole in the wall!

If you're from San Anto you have to check this place out!! They don't play when it comes to TORTAS they are more than generous with portions. Food and drinks were amazing I will definitely be coming back.

I have been wanting to try Que Tortas for a while. I lived in Latin America for a portion of my life and am always searching for authentic food. I really was looking forward to eating here but was incredibly disappointed in their tortas. I ordered the Chorizo con Huevo Torta, which includes bean and avocado. Unfortunately, the telera bread was very mushy. It had more similarities to sliced bread and lacked the firmness of the bolillo, the trademark of the torta. I finally opted for just eating the egg with a fork and folding the bread around it. The other people with me ordered a milanesa and Cubana torta respectively and were equally dissatisfied. The milanesa meat was thin and overly chewy and the Cubana lacked the taste and authenticity of the original Cubana. That being said, I am not a fan of critiquing small businesses, especially in these trying post pandemic times. I did feel that the service was pretty good, and the food was served quickly. Their prices are not bad either, although we did end up paying $41 and change for three tortas with no sides and two sodas. I also did not sample any of their other fare, but as for the tortas, we definitely won't be back for those.

Man!!!! This Cubano Especial was Amazing!!! This place is a little hidden Torta Treasure!!! The waitress was Awesome!

This is an Amazing Torta!!! Portion was so much that I could barely bite it!!! (But I did ). This place is a hidden Torta Treasure! Our waitress was Awesome! She started with the restaurants best sellers (which we got -Cubano & Norteno). She had our drinks chips and food to us pretty quick! Gave us refills and even asked if we wanted to take our drinks to go! My only issue was finding the place...we pass by here all the time and I had no idea it was behind the Tree! Overall Excellent Visit! Gracias Que Tortas!!!

Always looking for places to get a good meal that is not packed. With covid I started wanting eat at place that are not jammed pack. This a hidden gem. The torta was really good. My husband's taco's were good too. You can tell they have regulars because there were ppl just coming in to pickup their order then gone. Over all I'd go here again!!

This place is so underrated. It's literally a hidden jewel here in SATX!!! They have tacos al vapor! Their today's are so yummy, full of meat, and the bun is absolutely soft. If you are craving legit Fortas, this is your place to go!!!! It's also located in Leon Valley FYI.

como el nombre del restaurante, que tortas! muy rica la torta norteña. Tiene mucha carne, el pan rico calientito y la salsa verde está deliciosa. El único problema que tengo es que salí muy lleno.

The food was delicious! The Torta was hearty and very savory! The whole place is cute. A place to visit.

We just had tortas and tacos from here for the first time tonight and we were sorely disappointed. We were about 15mins away, and hungry, so we decided to try out a new small business. Let me preface this by saying that I don't like talking trash about small businesses.. but I will definitely be honest. I kinda feel like the pictures speak for themselves.. super skimpy on the meat (didn't even cover the whole torta surface area).. the meat that was included tasted just OK.. and the star of the show was the bread.‍ We agreed that our tortas were more like lettuce sandwiches. My husband LOVES tortas.. so I felt worse for him. He never leaves food behind when eating tortas (that aren't horrible, of course), and as you can tell by the picture, he left behind a good amount of bread.. because there were no toppings other than lettuce left on the torta to eat! The tacos tasted like bland mashed potatoes in a tortilla.. but those were cheap (less than $2 each), so I didn't care. We all work hard for our money and these tortas were NOT worth $10+ each. I will not be returning.. and will tell anyone that asks to steer clear.

Not a real Cuban torta. More on the Mexican side kinda torta. It was okay. Some may like it. It wasn't for me.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. This is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

Our server was very friendly, attentive, and made sure to check on us throughout the meal. The drinks were definitely generous with the alcohol, which we appreciated. However, my piña colada was not quite what I expected. It had more of a milky consistency rather than the icy, blended texture I usually associate with a piña colada. As for the food, it was decent but nothing particularly memorable. I was especially looking forward to the paella, but unfortunately the rice tasted a bit sour, which was disappointing. Overall, the service and atmosphere were the highlights of the experience, while the food left some room for improvement.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. Not sure if the Italian side and the cantina side share the same kitchen, but we will remember to come back and try that side as well. If the Italian menu and preparation is as unique as the cantina's, it will be a worthy adventure. For our appetizer we got the cheese dish pictured. I can not recall the name, but the cheese is a cool light cheese served in a warm tomato-based sauce, topped with slices of fresh avocados and chicharones and was served with flour and corn tortillas. Very delicious! As mentioned in the opening...the menu, preparation, and presentation at Panfila is unique. For our entrees my wife got the chile Relleno and I got the Milanese con Mole. The chile Relleno was served in a bowl with just an absolutely fabulous sauce and stuffed and covered with nicely melted cheese. The Milanese con Mole was absolutely decadent! The tender pork was lightly fried and covered in the most delicious mole that I have ever eaten. The chocolate was a little more prominent in the flavor profile than I am used to; and I wouldn't think that I would like that, but it was perfect! I enjoyed every bite and used the extra tortillas from our appetizer to finish off the mole. Highly recommend anything on the menu that incorporates that mole!! Fantastic place!
