    Menudo

I finally decided to stop by and try this place. My husband ordered the Mini tacos and I had the Menudo. The tacos are super tasty and flavorful and I will definitely go back for these. The Menudo lacked flavor, it tasted watered down. The place has a nice clean atmosphere and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I wish they were open after 6 on Weekdays, I will just have to eat the Mini tacos on the weekend.

Service was a bit slow, they took 5-8 minutes to greet us. Tacos were delicious. The restaurant was authentic with Mexican items like cups and clothing to buy in the front.

Saturday morning. Kind of slow. But they have specials on the weekends.

Very good food, service was prompt and friendly. All food was fresh, and cooked to order, though the tortillas were a bit firm for my liking. The atmosphere is a product of a lot of effort and collecting. Very nice

Atmosphere is good music has good variety few things could have been better would have liked to take order a tad bit quicker sat for 10 min before our drinks where taken The "fideoloco" was no joke a cambells chicken noodle soup thrown with broth and meat and veggies ALOT of the food wasn't seasoned either

a brief update for this restaurant. visited this saturday, wanting to taste one particular menu item: menudo. friends, I am happy to report that this offering is particularly competitive in the quest for this weekend favorite. the seasoning was subtly nuanced with spice, not overwhelming as some that I had sampled at other restaurants. the protein slices were of tender finish, though there was a bit or two of fatty pieces. and as desired: hominy. I ordered a small bowl of rice, and with that, totally enjoyed the menudo. If you have a hunger for tasty menudo, visit El Patron. I think your taste buds will be pleased!!

These are def some boss taquitos from @elpatron.taqueria Wifey loves to surprise me from time to time with lunch from this taqueria spot on Bandera. This was the 3rd time now, and just like the last two times, it was This 3 Taquito plate was the perfect surprise. Loved the crunch of the taquito but how moist the chicken still was inside. And wow, their salsas were amazing! Devoured the verde and did some damage to the red but man it was The best thing about this plate were the refried beans, hands down. I've had beans all my life, who hasn't. So when you taste good beans, you sit up a bit in your seat. These did just that! I highly recommend you give this place a try. It's off Bandera just outside of Leon Valley on the NW side of town, my side , where I continue to find new local places where I love to eat!

Passed by this place while running errands and stopped for some tacos! They have a drive thru which was quick and convenient. I got a chorizo & egg and papa ranchero breakfast taco and liked both! Good salsa too! Before 10am, breakfast tacos are $0.99, after 10 am breakfast tacos are $1.75 which is honestly worth it. Just your standard taco spot. I would not got far out of my way to go, but if you're in the neighborhood and looking for food, I'd recommend popping in here for a delicious bite!

This was my first time here, came to check it out after my husband went the day before for lunch and couldn't stop raving about how good the food was. First off I was able to order lunch during breakfast time bonus points for me. I'm not a big breakfast person. So I was able to get the chicken enchiladas Verdes and it's really good. Husband ordered bacon and egg plate and was so excited that they asked him if he wanted it mixed or not this was a + is his book. Nothing was left on either plate after eating. My son ordered pancakes and they are GOOD we all take turns sneaking a bite of them when he's not looking. Overall YES will continue to go here!

Stopped on a whim to try something new. Will definitely come again. Great service. Greeted upon arriving. Homemade tortillas were amazing. Hot and fresh coffee. Recommend.

Breakfast special huevos rancheros minus the rancheros

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. Everything was delicious! Tortillas were soft and fluffy, barbacoa had great flavor, my only minor "complaint" would be the beans serving was a bit small, but probably only because they were so good I needed more

I stopped by for lunch and ordered the enchilada special with tea, not knowing there were 2 specials, was thinking I was getting 2 enchilada plate with tea, but i got served 3 enchiladas with tortillas and tea, it was very tasty and good, but make sure you are specific with which enchilada plate you order, as you'll be surprised at the high lunch bill as i was. Even though it cost more than I typically looked to spend for lunch, but at least it tasted good.

We ordered chips and salsa ($1.99) they came quickly. The salsa was tasty and not too spicy. I had Shrimp Nachos. There were plenty of them, lots of cheese and the guacamole was excellent, not a lot of stuff added to it. My husband had Carne Asada. It came with beans, tortillas and cheese enchilada. When he asked about barracho beans, Anthony brought them right away. The ice tea was strong and tasty and he kept our glasses filled. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The building is new. It's very open with high ceilings, lots of windows and cement floors. There was plenty of outdoor seating. There were only a few parking spaces by the entrance. There was free parking on nearby side streets or paid parking in lots behind the restaurant. We would definitely go back when in San Antonio again. The drink menu looked fun! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. This is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
