So first off, their "automated" phone system is horrendous. We couldn't make an appointment due to "technical difficulties". Their website was not much better. I figured I would just go in and talk to someone because my daughter's pediatrician recommended them and I thought I'd be able to take care of the appointment scheduling face to face. Lol boy was I wrong. The guy at sitting at the computer in the window was on his phone and barely even made eye contact with me. When I asked if I was able to schedule an appointment he barely looked up from his phone to say "ummm no" and handed me a piece of paper and said to go online. I told him that the website wasn't working very well and he just said to try again...REALLY? We didn't even bother trying again. If this was how bad it was to schedule an appointment I can't imagine how they would treated my little princess. We then made an appointment with a "lab corporation" down the street and it was a breeze! read more

Possibly the worst service I have received in a long time. I needed to get tests done in order to donate blood and platelets to my father and came here for my tests. After making my appointment a few days in advanced and showing up early checking in as soon as the app allowed me. I got the joy of waiting roughly 30min before anyone showed up to the window, with two people in the building one who only came out to tell me I will be in shortly, and the other woman "working" as this employee was on her phone listening and looking up music videos on YouTube rarely looking up except to hand me something to sign, while she was playing it allowed and still talking I can't help but feel this played some part on the delays as many waiting in the area left before entering. I hope this is just an off day for this business and does not reflect their usual work ethic. read more

I consistently have a great experience every time I'm here. Between my daughter , myself and my husband one of us is here every month. I love that the same employees have been here for years. Pedro has always been so kind and asks about the family, he's great with my daughter who uses a computer to speak...very natural and genuine. The lady of the team has a great laugh and smile. I try to avoid quest as much as possible because they always seem to mess up the billing with my insurance. Several times I have come and received a bill a month later because they did not bill it properly. I stick to lapcorp now, but during covid I was more or less forced to come back here because of their appointment availability. Lapcorp was booked for the month, quest had appointments within a couple days. I checked in online and did all the stuff they needed beforehand. I show up and the girl flat out lies about having called my name to be seen. I was sitting right in front of their door, and 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time I go up to the window and asked when I would be called. The girl tells me that she called me twice and no one came. I was literally sitting right in front of the place. Not sure why she wanted to lie about it, I would have appreciated if she just told the truth and accidentally forgot to call me. Once again I will avoid this place at all costs if possible read more

I went to take my grandma for her blood test. the first time i went this one lady poked her 3 different times to find her vein but couldn't find it. we went again today and i told her not to poke her, if she can't find it then she shouldn't try taking her blood. we've been to this hospital many times and 2 other people took her blood very easily but it's always this one lady who always pokes her. today she poked her 2 times and hurt her very badly. i forgot her name but it starts with AR and that's all we remember. i really think if someone can't do a right job then either they shouldn't work there or they should let someone else handle it. read more

This place has great people and very friendly. I got there when they opened with no appointment. They took me in and I was dying out the door within 20 minutes. They took four vials of blood and I didn't feel a thing. I would recommend this place to everyone. read more

The guys here are rude. When making my appointment I hesitated because the past few times I've gone I've had bad experiences. There is a heavier set man with bad facial hair who seems to hate his job and a kid with a man bun who tried to make me feel dumb when I went in for my glucose testing telling me I was too late for the test even though I was early for the scheduled appointment at 9. They said they wouldn't take me because I was late for the cutoff time of 8. I'm sorry that it's not an option on the website to do a 1 hour test or a 3 hour test. If anyone from Quest reads these reviews they need to teach their employees how to speak to people and make their website more clear. read more

I had a glucose screening test that required me to be there for 3 hours. I saw and heard how professional and friendly this guys are. From the front desk, to the gentleman drawing my blood every hour, nothing but nice! I don't see how others have had such a bad experience here. Totally the opposite of what I witnessed. read more

I've had blood drawn here multiple times and they have been very friendly and the blood draws have been relatively painless. If you're getting your blood drawn make sure you are hydrated. It will help them find a vein :) read more

I should have followed my instincts when I brought my 3-month-old son here. Our pediatrician sent us to Quest for a blood test and, the moment I saw the place, I was already uncomfortable as it was quite dimly lit considering it was a medical area. A lady came to check in my son and, as I watched her work, I kept feeling like something was off about her professionalism, but I cast the thoughts aside. We were brought into the room, still dimly lit, and the lady applied the tourniquet to my son's left arm. She was unable to find a vessel in either of his arms and, rather than have her make a mistake, I told her that it was okay if it wouldn't be possible to draw his blood today and I would be happy to speak with the doctor about possibly taking his blood when he is older and it is easier to find his vessels. She insisted on bringing in her male colleague to try it out. Meanwhile, I noticed that the needle was a 23 gauge needle, which isn't unusual for pediatric patients, but being a 3-month-old (and they said he had very small vessels), I was hoping they would have a smaller needle. The male colleague came in and he looked annoyed at having had to be brought in to do his job so I was even more uncomfortable. He roughly applied the tourniquet to my son and it pinched his skin, which made his crying worse, but I understood that the tourniquet was a necessary thing. I asked if they had anything smaller than a 23 gauge needle and he rudely snapped at me telling me that it was all they had and that they always use that needle. I accepted the information, but I did tell him that his colleague had mentioned that he had very small vessels and, if it was not possible to draw his blood, I would understand that it was due to the vessel size and not their abilities. Instead of acknowledging my concerns, he rudely snapped about how he was going to do it. After pricking my son with the needle, he kept dragging the needle around his arm, which must have hurt a lot. Then, he removed the needle and pricked him a second time and did more dragging. Eventually, he became so frustrated with not being able to draw blood that he ripped the needle out, aggressively tossed it in the sharps box and wouldn't even say anything about what he was able or not able to do. I had to ask him if he was able to draw blood (even though I saw that he didn't) and he rudely snapped about how his vessels were too small. Then he took some gauze for the puncture sites and wrapped medical tape around my son's arm so tightly that his arm looked like sausage links and it was turning purple. I asked if it was on too tightly and he, once again, rudely snapped at me about how it was fine. I ended up removing the medical tape and dealing with a traumatised baby (my son doesn't cry very much, but he wouldn't stop clinging and crying after this). Both of the phlebotomists that worked on my son just carried themselves in a way that made it seem like they didn't know what they were doing to begin with and that they were never properly educated on their job or etiquette...once again I stress that I should have followed my instincts on this because that voice in the back of my head kept telling me that something wasn't right every step of the way. I brought him back to the pediatrician and complained to the nurse about the bedside manner of the people at Quest so they sent me to LabCorp instead. I am so glad we ended up at LabCorp because the lady that worked with my son, Cynthia, was so wonderful with him. She knew just how to talk to make him all calm and, despite using the same 23 gauge needle, she was able to draw blood in one small prick and my son was calm the whole way through. She gently applied the tourniquet over his sleeve so that it wouldn't pinch at his skin and, when applying the gauze, she used a nice and soft mesh to hold it there. Then she told me to remove the mesh and gauze after 10 minutes (the guy at Quest who was determined to cut off my son's blood supply with the medical tape never even told me when I could remove it). At the end of it, my son couldn't stop staring at Cynthia because he liked her that much and was so content and calm that he calmly sat in his carseat and fell asleep on the way back home without crying once. read more

The girl at the front desk had no customer service skills what so ever. Then when I went in to use the restroom, YUCK!!! it smelled like urine so bad that I just turned around and walked out. If I didn't know any better I'd think I was in a gas station. Needless to say I will not be going back to this location EVER. read more

WORST PLACE TO GO TO!! Had me waited for 45mins just to tell me that I can't get my labs cause the doctor forgot to write my name on the stupid form!! If they would've checked my form in the beginning when I signed in, I wouldn't have waited for the longest time! And they kept telling people that their system is down!! If they're system is down, why were we able to sign in on their electronic/computerized sign in?? I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS WORST PLACE EVER!! read more

Come in for lab work on a monthly basis. Offices open late. Long line for lab work. Sitting here for 1 hour already only 3rd person in line. They seem to be only able to handle 1 lab request every 30 min. Have already seen 3 people get up and walk out. 12 more people behind me...they better cancel anything going on in their day looks like they will be waiting until after lunch. My daughter has to get blood drawn regularly and she INSISTS on ONLY coming to this lab. They are kind and quick and always get her on the first try... No pin cushion practice at this location. It's best to make an appointment because they do get busy and often times only have one person working. read more

I have to have blood drawn 3 times a month for the past year and a half, this is the best place I've been to so far. Sure it get packed at times, but I understand the fact everyone try's to go in when they're on the lunch break. The service is worth the wait. Even my 3 year son has had his blood drawn here multiple times and never cried once. The girl that works their is so sweet and very helpful. She was so patient with me and my fear of needles!!! She was very understanding. The only thing that could make this place any better is if their were more people on staff(Sure during the mornings their 3 people their and wait times are almost nothing, but during the afternoon their only one person their and boy does it get packed. Still totally worth the wait. It makes me upset seeing other people begin very rude and even speaking NASTY to them when all they are trying to do is help. If people don't like the wait times I suggest they go to a larger lab.... read more

Make no mistake about it, you are only a number to Quest Diagnostics and that number is preceded with a dollar sign. I made my appointment, fasted for over 8 hours, took time off from work to make my appointment, showed up in plenty of time to find out that location was closed with a hand written sign that their power was out. When I looked around the building that they were located in (San Dimas, CA 7/19/2018) I noticed that they were the only ones with their door closed and lights off. No other medical business was affected which raised some questions in my mind. There was no attempt to contact me to let me know that that location was closed even though the could have very easily sent me an email or called. When I called Customer Service and discovered that they had no way to help me. They have no authority to solve or assist you with a problem which indicates a complete failure of upper management and a complete disconnect from their customer. When I requested a supervisor the representative Christine said that if I wish to leave my name and number one would call me in 24 to 48 hours. I am still waiting on a call! Again this demonstrates a complete failure of upper and middle management and a complete disconnect from their customers. Incidentally, there is no way for you to call a live person at your local; branch so don't even try.If you have any other alternative short of taking your own blood and analyzing it, do it and avoid a huge waste of time and aggravation. A company this poorly run deserves to go out of business! read more

The only reason I'm giving them two stars instead of one, is because the front desk receptionist is excellent. Their phlebotomist (they only seem to have one at 7:00 am) is simply not good. First time I've had this problem at a qualified lab. On her first attempt she was unable to find the vein on my right arm. She kept asking me to let her know if I felt any pain while she prodded my arm with the needle trying to locate the vein; when she finally found it she said she was unable to draw any blood from it ???? Then she poked me on my other arm. She began to have the same problem. She said the blood was flowing too slow into the tube. I lost my patience and cut her short, I told her that lab technicians have never had any trouble drawing blood, from my arms, that I have only had one or two instances when incompetent nurses or phlebotomists have given me bruises, but had had no trouble obtaining the samples. She finished her job right after that. read more
