I called and the guy who works there rudely said that the order was made incorrectly and that they just mixed chicken? He said it's "up to you if you want to believe it" and hung up on me. I have been going to this place for 7 years, as long as, I have lived in San Bruno. It has been a simple transaction and I ordered my hot milk tea and snacks or regular boba drinks. On this fine day on 11/16 @ 6 pm PST, the cashier that took my orders doesn't understand my drink order, as English language to challenge. I have no problem on it, but I have ordered a hot drink, but it was cold, and I have charged these purchases on CC. First of all, I have no idea. There is .50 cent difference, and I have no change except .20 cent. The Cashier had a blank face and said I have to pay the .50 cent. The notorious quickly Manager BEN DIU, who is probably very rude and yelling at me; it cost .50 cent; I was like I have .20 cent in cash, but transaction was charged, and I didn't know there was a difference. I don't have a problem finding a solution to the .50 cent situation, but he was rude and coarse in his language skill set, and I didn't appreciate to be treated with hostility attitude. He basicall charged my credit card for .50 and run it. I felt FLABBERGASTED by his level of customer service and rudeness and hiring a cashier whom doesn't grasps of English and makes mistakes all the time, but not understanding a hot and cold drink order and have a yelling session over .50 cent. He was reductants to give me his name and the owner of the store; his name is Chris. He didn't even know his last name and contact information. I ordered fried baby octopus and almost half of it was slimy. I was beyond disturbed and disgusted I had to keep spitting them out. They really need to cook their food all the way before serving it to the customers. Like what was the point of even ordering it if I was going to spit half of it out? I couldn't even enjoy it while I was eating because I was spitting most of it out. Take a little more time to fry it so people can enjoy what they payed for, they are waiting either way so a bit longer cooking it isn't going to make a difference! This particular Quickly is one of my go-to places for boba-tea! The customer service is pleasant and gets the orders done fast but with nice quality. One thing that would be nice though is the fact that there are limited vegan options; I'm only able to order an arrangement of teas (about 1/6 of the menu). This is quite possibly the worst Quickly's in the Bay Area. The employee in the morning/afternoon really hates her job and lets you know it. She'll unhappily take your order, unhappily make your drink, and then unhappily slam the drink(s) on the counter. Oh, one more thing, she'll take her sweet time to make the drink(s) too. I'm guessing she's the owner's daughter or something, being forced to help out. There's a different girl in the evenings (sometimes) who is a lot nicer.
