3 stars for the extensive menu because I'm usually on the east bay and don't have italian sodas, different flavored egg puffs or musubis available. My strawberry milk tea tasted fine. The almond egg puffs didn't taste like almond. I would have rather had the original flavor. The service here is something I've never experienced at other locations. Everything is backwards. You order your food at the register but then you have to go out of the store to go around the line and pillar to complete the transaction on an ipad. The pick up sign is located right above the ipad, but they put orders on the counter where the register is. We waited maybe more than 30 minutes and wondered what gave so we asked the girl and she said she called our order 15 minutes ago. They don't call orders by name, but by item so if it's busy and someone else orders the same thing get ready to throw some bows. Jk. As busy as it was it was difficult to hear. Just a bizarre process if you ask me. There is very limited seating so you're better off looking for seating downstairs at the food court. read more

Worst customer service!!!! We get boba a lot at different places, but this one has by far the worst service. Oh god..... I just left this place about 30mins ago. I'm back at work and now I feel sick after eating their food. I ordered a nutella crepe and original crispy chicken and taro milk tea. The taro milk tea was actually the most tolerable thing out of my order. It wasn't powdery or anything, and the boba tasted fresh. The chicken tasted rubbery and old. It was dripping in oil and grease....and it didn't help that they shoved it into a plastic bag. The nutella crepe was awful. It smelled like a dirty band aid...and tasted even worse! Iced green tea is only 59 cents, Iced coffee $0.99, bullbe milk tea, jasmine milk tea, taro milk tea are only $1.49 and chicken rice bowl is only $2.99, which even cheaper than McDonald. This is a review for their popcorn chicken. If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible service. Takes forever to get your order ready. Today I decided to give them another try and order popcorn chicken and a taro milk tea. I usually like these tapioca drink / snack spots. The drinks and snacks are usually good. no complaints about those. But the reason i'm giving this a 1-star is because of the horrible employees. On friday nights there are 2 employees. A lady, who talks rudely, and this lazy guy who sits around staring at the TV. This Quickly accepts credit cards, with the tiny caveat that they will charge you an extra $.48 if your total is under $10. Considering how most Quickly's don't accept credit cards at all, I'm more than happy to give up 48 cents for a bubble tea rather than leave empty handed because I forgot cash. I ordered 4 milk teas: jasmine, pudding, earl grey, and barley (see? ordering in this kind of quantity makes it ever more essential for me that they take credit cards). All the flavors were all quite good but the barley milk tea had a texture that reminded me of really soggy wheat germs so I may have to skip on that next time. All in all, I give this Quickly a thumbs up. It's clean, there's easy parking, there are 2 flat screens playing KPop to keep you entertained while you wait, AND they gave me the first punchcard I've ever seen at any Quickly's. I friggin' love this place. Service is slow, they take forever to make your food/snacks, but it's worth it if you've got the time to spare. I work close by and usually make it here at least once if not twice a week. I always get a jasmine milk green tea with boba and it keeps my mouth and tummy happy (esp during this pregnancy!) I've gotten my coworkers hooked on it as well, so when i come, i usually pick up a couple drinks for them as well. 1 star for a ridiculously sweet regular pearl milk tea with boba. And I give it one star because I can't go any lower than that. In fact, you can't even taste the tea; it's more like a sugary milky concoction with some decently chewy balls. I had to ask the server to pour out half the liquid and dump in ice to dilute the taste. Definitely go half sugar at this joint if you don't want to get premature diabetes. 1 star for tasty salty crispy chicken. It is surprisingly better than that of Verde's. This location is much worse than the one on Grant. The place is usually operated by some teens who don't know customer services at all. I don't expect 5 Star services from this place, but at least polite. However, their service is way too rude. My worst experience with this place: I ordered a crepe on one of the Friday nights. There were one girl serving in the store, and 2 other customers behind me. It was my first time ordering crepe from this place, so I was taking longer than average customers (I guess). That girl sounded so impatient and asked "anything else?" in a harsh tone, as if she was saying "god, so stupid". Then, she started making my crepe after taking and finishing orders for the other 2 customers. When she handed me the box, she said nothing and simply pushed the box towards me. Im not a big bubble tea guy but my wife is. She loves the stuff. I've had it a few times and any time we go to Quickly, I get the tarot flavored. It's really sweet but nice. They have a huge menu on the wall with tons of food. I'm interested in trying some of the things there. Service is friendly and relatively quick and there's always a buzz. My husband & I were on vacation in SF from LA and were craving "boba tea". Staying in South San Francisco, there weren't that many options closeby so we yelped it and found this place in San Bruno. It also helped that we were shopping in the same plaza at the grocery store. It helped me satisfy my craving but their service was kinda slow and rude. (Expression-less). I'll get straight to the point-- The milk tea was great for it's price! I'm drinking it as I type this. However...the reason I gave this place two stars was due to it's HORRIBLE service. (honestly would have been one, but like I said, the milk tea is great.) I came in and saw the board where it lists the steps to make a drink (since I wasn't sure if the bubble milk tea was black). So I go up and tell him "Can I get black milk tea?" and he just looks at me. He doesn't even ask "What?". Just gives me this look. So I point to the board, thinking *Oh maybe its one of those days for them haha*. Nothing. So out of defeat I ask "Can I get the bubble milk tea." He punches it in, asks if I want boba, the usual routine except--he never bothers to ask how sweet I want it. Which is CRUCIAL for me. I hate un-sweet tea. Can't stand it. Again, benefit of doubt. I want to believe he just merely forgot to ask which is totally okay. It happens. --"Oh! How sweet is the drink?" NOTHING. He just repeats the total to me like I didn't even ask a question!! Me being incredibly socially anxious, I dropped it and just gave him the money. Mind you, I kept every bit of change I got instead of dropping it in the tip jar like I usually would. Bonus story: As I was grabbing my drink, a lady came up and complained that her hot drink she just got was cold. The cashier looked at her and said "No it's hot." like she was stupid or something. The lady literally drank the drink in front of him and said "No it's cold." "Well it's warm in the middle." That doesn't even make sense Mr.Cashier. Cold liquids go on the bottom while hot rises to the top. Its simple science. No such thing as "warm in the middle" with drinks. Never coming back--at least with that Cashier working at the register. Is it possible to rate lower than 1 star? If it were, I would rate lower. I love Quickly's and often visit them, but this particular branch did not meet my usual expectations. The store had no customers, so I expected a short wait. However, the servers were standing behind the counter texting. After waiting about 5 minutes for them to notice the line that started forming at the counter, they finally started taking orders. After taking my order, I sat down and waited patiently. I ordered one mango snow bubble with regular tapioca. This took about 30 minutes to receive. Not because of a long line or broken machine, but because the employees had simply forgotten to make it. I had to show them my receipt twice to remind them of what I had ordered. I'm usually a fan of Quickly's because it's a quick and reliable fix for boba! But the poor customer service is enough reason for me to drive a little longer and take my business elsewhere. I was just not a fan of this place. Behind the register stood two unfriendly girls who did patiently wait for us to pick from the wall of drinks. The advertisements are completely out of date as the season, or even year, for what they are advertising, is off. But the boba just wasn't good.
