Great little boba spot in West Covina. The spot is located in The Heights shopping center in West Covina. Place is located in the corner suite, small but big enough to handle a lunch rush. I got a Strewberry Kiwi slush with boba and it taste amazing. Not to sweet and it taste great on a hot sunny day here in Socal. I've grown fond of quickly. It has a special place in my heart (and stomach). The boba tea is decent (it's not a game changer). It tastes like any other boba (with the exception of their seasonal watermelon tea which u can tell is 100% fresh). What I really like about quickly is their snacks. Their popcorn chicken and fries always come out steaming hot, fresh, and we'll seasoned. It's one of the few places in West Covina I can rely on for good, crispy, fried chicken. The servers are always welcoming, and the service is decent. It always takes a while to get your food, but it's worth since you know they're cooking a fresh batch of chicken. This quickly is in a huge plaza with home depot and some other shops. They recently added the SUPERCUP which is exactly as it sounds. A huge cup. I got the taiwanese style caramel milk tea with boba and it was very sweet which is great because thats what i like but i can see how that would be a turn off. They also have a good regular milk tea. Their boba is soft and chewy and tastes fresh. They do have a $10 minimum though for cards otherwise they charge you an additional .50 cents. I would say this location is pricier than most quicklys but the service is good and the drinks are low on ice so it's worth it. read more

The wait for the food is average. I had ordered mild spice and went home to enjoy this yummy goodness I regularly go here for. Unfortunately, it was spicy as FU@*! I didn't want to go back to the store cause I've already settled at home for the evening before biting into the first bite. This is the first Quicklys I found in a plaza NOT full of Asian stores. I found it weird it was located next to American restaurants and other big box retailers. I almost passed it! The interior is actually a lot nicer then most of the Quicklys I've been too. And this location seems quite popular! I went during a Sunday evening and there a lot of people going in and out. The menu focuses more on desserts then your usual Taiwanese snacks. They actually have shaved ice here! Oh and the cup sizes here go beyond the usual. They have an extra large size. It was REALLY big. Like a large soup container. But you have to pay about $5 to $6 for your average milk tea. I ordered the tiger milk tea. Half thai tea and half milk tea. It was ok. It tasted more like bland thai tea. Not too sweet but the taste wasn't all that great. No pizazz. It took them a long time though to make my drink and two other drinks for my friends. We also ordered the popcorn chicken and fish cakes. Popcorn chicken tasted fine. Fish cakes tasted good too but didn't taste like fish. Tasted like fake vegetarian fish. =P read more

I love the milk tea boba here! I HATE THE FACT THAT THEY ALWAYS RUN OUT BOBA. If you are looking for Tapioca Pearls this is not the place to visit. They suck at calculating how much boba to make for the day. They literally run out of boba hours before they closed. at least 1hr before they closed. How is this even possible. Whoever runs this business clearly has no idea how much money they are missing out. And also very unprofessional to turn people down because you didn't make enough. Good lord their drinks are sweet. I ordered the Taro slush and had to stop after drinking a quarter of it. My tongue felt weird because of all the sugar on it. There was a t time in the not so distant past in which Quickly served up some pretty legit milk tea. Sad to say those days are long gone and Quickly has now fallen by the wayside of milk tea past. Were there not countless hi quality milk tea joints in the area then maybe Quickly would stand a chance but I fear it is too late and they have failed to improve their product in order to keep up with the increased competition....which is stiff. In addition to inferior product the service leaves very much to be desired. On my last (and I do men last) visit, the girl working the counter had an obvious listening problem ( I apologize if she really did have a hearing problem). She charged me for two items when I ordered only one and was about to order it incorrectly until I corrected her. I would highly recommend some improved social skills and customer service training such as eye contact, acknowledging customers, greeting them, active listening and perhaps i'll go out on a limb and mention even some friendliness. It wasn't even a busy day when I visited. Well, good luck quickly. The food and drinks are exactly the same but the reason I am changing my rating from 5 stars to 1 is because of the employees. What happend these last few months? A year ago the staff were on top of things. Quick and easy. Now they're not time efficient or orderly. Specially a newer blonde girl. Today is the second time I stop in and she messes things up. For one she speaks so low I had to lean in to actually hear what she was saying. All I ordered was a milk tea and popcorn chicken. I asked the guy at the counter where was my order. (I didnt even get my drink at this time). He asks the blonde girl and from what I assumed is she didnt even put the order in! I was pissed. The second time going in, she didnt take my order (thank god). I ordered the same thing. My chicken comes out and they give it to her to call out the order. So she grabs my chicken and in the SOFTEST voice she says the order. This other customer that ordered 5 mins later than me jumps up, grabs the bag and is out the door before I could say anything. Oh my gosh... I had to try "Fried Calamari" after reading reviews... Omg... It was just horrible... What a waste of money. I seriously felt bad wasting money on it. Never actually went to a Quickly boba place before but once I did try the boba it was so delicious, I like it better than all the other tea shops in the West Covina, Azusa, Glendora area, they're cool people the scene is awesome, they have music, nice big T.V. lights it's like you're in a sweet club while waiting for your boba. If I had written this review back in October I would have given it 2 stars at most. The slush was watered down, the tea was watered down and the boba was hard which I didn't bother finishing. BUT when me and my friends went back this month, The coconut milk tea with boba I got was absolutely tasty! When I heard that a Quickly franchise was opening right near my house, I was a little excited. Then I tried it. Actually, made the mistake of coming here twice. The first time, the boba itself was too hard and not at all chewy. It was disconcerting. The second time, the boba was way too soft and it felt a wee bit grotesque going down. Not to mention the absolutely flavorless hogwash they serve here and try to pass off as tea. They also apparently have a "ladies night" deal where women can get cheaper drinks. Umm, I hate to break it you guys, but Quickly is not a nightclub. Can't make a comment about the snacks, I haven't had the pleasure. The only pluses I see are that the actual establishment looks pretty nice and they offer free WiFi. If I want good boba, I'd look elsewhere (or anywhere else for that matter). The Colima location, though it's run by bratty apathetic workers and the place is a little skeevy, is much better. read more

I might not be a boba expert but I've tried lots of places to know that their taro slush is so watered down, I couldn't taste anything. All I could taste was just ice. Yeah there are too many GOOD boba places in the nearby vicinity to settle for this place. I arrived around noon and it was pretty dead. Perhaps they had just opened? Anyway I stand around awkwardly for a bit until the guy comes up from the back and I order drinks for me and my sisters. We had wanted boba but were told they weren't ready...ok..how is it not ready?? Don't you make it BEFORE you open up shop? I mean come on, I've seen enough episodes of Hell's Kitchen to know that you do all that stuff before opening do that you can start serving customers when your doors open. Today I ordered a watermelon green tea and fried combo. I was given a watermelon slushee so I told them it was a mistake and the guy takes my drink back, puts it back into a blender, pours tea inside, and blends it again.. he blended it twice cuz it got too icy so he poured more tea into it to thin it out. He hands me the "tea" that's obviously still in slushie form and I just had to ask if it was the watermelon tea I asked for and he said yea. I've gotten this order so many times before so I know how it's supposed to look and taste. I was so pissed. I literally come here every week and I know their service is never the best but they always did an okay job and never gave me a reason to complain until now. This is my favorite quickly, and it's possibly my favorite boba place! :D I've never seen a cleaner boba shop with prices this low, just like they should be. All the drinks are made right, many with natural products, such as taro in the taro milk tea, or lavender buds in the lavender milk tea. So delicious. They even have fun unusual drinks, such as the Tiger Milk Tea, which is black and thai tea mixed together with the option of grass jelly stripes. The gal in the hat that always helps me is so kind. She is quick and efficient with the drinks too. I usually get a jasmine milk tea with boba, as does my almost-pretty-much-sister, and my boyfriend gets the tiger milk tea. However, each time we try something new, we have NEVER been disappointed! :] There is a claw machine and an old Japanese arcade game machine that has different games every now and then. They are so cheap to play! Something like 25cents a play... I mean, of course I don't come to a boba shop to play games, but I see many guys play there, and I can understand why. It gets the gamer itch out of your system for a very affordable price, much like you can get your boba fix here for great quality at a great price.
