    Thai tea blended.
    Jowel G.

This just happened to be close to me while I was taking a drive. I usually order Matcha drinks or strawberry, but today decided to try their Thai tea blended. The drink was average, but it was what you would expect it to taste like, it's fine. I think the menu board just needs to be updated since it seems like there were items that were not available and may have not been available for a while? And the restaurant itself look like it needs to be renovated or the interior needs to be redone because you could not , go in there to have a seat to enjoy your beverage. The person working there seemed nice, not really engaging which is neither here nor there. If In a pinch I don't have a problem coming back here.

I've been going to this Quickly since it's first opened, and so glad that it's still around after all these years. The staff here are so dang friendly! They removed the indoor seating area however there's plenty of tables outside. We usually order the passion fruit green tea or peach green tea and add boba and lychee jelly. The popcorn chicken is a must every.single.time! It's a nostalgic snack and generous serving for $8. Sometimes we wished they offered a plate with rice and some veggies for a nice filling meal as we go about running errands! Regardless we love it here and will always come here when we're in the area!

My wife loves is here cause it's so close for us. You can get some delicious snacks and a quick boba. The prices are very reasonable compared to other boba places and you can adjust ice and sugar level. No dine in or place to sit but we just get it to go. Lots of parking here!

Me giving a Quickly 4 stars? I mean more like 3.5 stars, but it's more likely than you think ! This has been a community staple since this shopping plaza opened and it's a nice cheaper option for boba. I'll be honest, Quickly is my litmus test for whether a boba place is worth going to. If it tastes worst than Quickly (and costs more?) into the 1-2 star category. Absolutely dreadful then. Yeah this place uses lots of powders and their jellies and puddings taste pretty dang artificial, but at least its cheap! I would honestly skip out on the milk teas here and get their fruit teas and readjust for an extremely low sugar level. Snacks are SUPER worth it though. Cheaper than a Ten Ren's or similar boba chain offering food and they give you A LOT. I've never had issues with this Quickly specifically and there's always a ton of parking. This location also has stamp cards too, so take advantage of that.

As their brand name says, it was quick service. We got our drinks fast but the lady made the mistake of putting boba on my milk tea coffee, that's forgiven. She was so apologetic that she offered to give us the drink with boba for free aside from the correct one. But we declined her offer. There's no place to eat inside but there are tables and seats outside. That's why I gave it a 4 star. Hope they would open their dining indoor.

I always give boba shops 3 stars. Don't mind me. I'm just not impressed with sugar. Not bad though. Good stuff. But nothing special. Service was super cool. Young guys definitely brought the good vibes. Cool music playing in the background. Service was quick and prices are fair. My guests enjoyed it so thanks for the good experience. Keep it up guys.

I love this place. Denise is great. They're always super sweet. Sometimes it can get busy and there can be a wait. I only get teas here so it's usually pretty quick. Their milk tea is perfect. (Not watered down like some) Love the Jasmine tea and Thai tea too. Cheaper than most places. Good quality for what you pay. Sometimes they run out of boba later in the evening and obviously aren't going to make anymore because they would end up having to throw boba away. Also there's officially a boba shortage so boba shops not having boba or running out early is going to be a more common thing. It is what it is. Don't forget to tip them!

I came in on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm, and my first impressions walking in was the interior is clean and pleasantly warm. I ordered the creamy mala seafood pasta since it was the most unique dish on the menu. Service was good but nothing special. Creamy mala seafood pasta, 2.5/5: The pasta was inoffensively average. There were some bites that were creamy and some bites that weren't. I honestly thought it could use more cream or butter to add some more richness. The pasta itself was al dente. There wasn't much flavor overall with the dish, and the mala was very mild (for reference, I can handle medium spice levels at other restaurants). The seafood quality was okay for the price. Overall, I thought the ambiance was really nice, but the pasta I ordered was average at best. Maybe I will give this place a 2nd chance and try something else.

Owners are so nice and cool, one is the chef and the other is a pastry chef. Atmosphere and vibes were nice in a Saturday evening, but food could be a bit better. It's fine for a casual dining but nothing really stood out to me except maybe the Kale salad that was good and never really had it that way before. Brother enjoyed his food and was happy with everything. With that said, we will still come back because the owners and atmosphere are still worth the trip. Maybe will try something else on the menu next time.

I am so glad we chose Hide Out Cafe in Rowland Heights to have our celebration. The food is delicious, the staff is so friendly, and the cafe is so cozy and welcoming. My brother was sponsoring our meal since he couldn't make it, so of course we had to go all out and order two drinks and two main dishes. (Thank you, big brother)! I got the Boba Bear Set $8.50, which comes with a drink and two house-made cookies, and my mom got their Tiramisu Latte $7.00, which is heavy on the coffee liquor, to be honest, but we had fun with it. The drinks are crafted beautifully, and with the open cafe concept, you can see they pay attention to the small details of their crafted drink menu. The house-made cookies that were a part of my Boba Bear Set are not to be forgotten. The cookies are buttery, decadent, and delicious; they are the perfect tea cookies to pair with! I can't wait to go back and try more of their fun drinks and maybe bring a study book the next time. For our main dishes, we shared the Chimi Wagyu & Frites $35.00, and the Fresh Avocado Toast $19.00. We both love eggs so of course we had to get something with eggs in our dish. My mom loved her avocado toast, and they were very generous with the avocado as well on there. The salad is a definite hit with us and included a great dressing on the side. The eggs were cooked perfectly on top of our toast and steak. The frites with my steak were crispy and seasoned well. I also loved the chimi sauce with my steak as well. The portion was huge so we were able to take some back home to enjoy another day. Overall, my mom and I had a great experience and would absolutely come back for another sip of their lattes and try another fun drink on their menu. We left with happy smiles and full stomachs, and can't wait to come back soon.

Eduardo the owner is ALWAYS very attentive and full of joy to serve us. He checks on us to make sure everything is ok with our orders. Kiren the other owner has been awesome too, since our first visit. She was concerned my daughter wasn't eating. Also, always checking in on us. She remembered us the second time we came and asked if my daughter if she was doing better because the first time we were there she had morning sickness so she couldn't enjoy her food. I love finding hidden GEMS, especially Mexican restaurants, with real Mexican food!! What can I say ?! We love it ! Five times here. No regrets. Always good. Food is delicious! Service is AWESOME! Always so friendly, warm, & helpful since the first time we found them. . :D Can't believe it took me so long to find this hidden gem living nearby and around here all the time. How did I find it ?? Well, how do I, and we all, find all my / our favorite restaurants? I Yelped of course !!! :D I was in the area looking for a good place to eat. I yelped Mexican food and TA DA ! I would have never found it, since it's sort of hidden in an area less traveled, in the shopping center across from the West Covina Mall, behind sushiholics & The Bundt place. Same center where Panera is & Sushiholics, except it's on the back side street, on California Ave. I would have never walked over there, on the backside of the shopping center. Just happy to have found it now! Besides GREAT SERVICE, GREAT FOOD ! We are suckers for birria. So 1st time here we had birria chilaquiles with over medium eggs plate, quesabirria, and ramen birria hehe ! YUMMM Yes, it was good, a little spicy for me, but good. I always have to clarify how I want my eggs at restaurants because believe it or not some cooks don't understand that over medium means soft yolks. They sometimes bring me over hard and that's not what I ordered. Over medium eggs have to be just right! No runny whites and no hard yolk. I explained that to Eduardo when ordering because I didn't want hard or soft; runny & gooey whites ewww. So I'm always very specific. Eduardo said no problem, if we don't get them right we can remake them for you. :D Woohooo ! They were perfect! Not many places get it right the first time, so they always remake them, but not here ! PERFECTION !! Thank you Eduardo!! I was happy ! Can't forget about the coffee!!! Oooh coffee! We love coffee so when the owner told us iced coffee ! Whoa ! Our eyes lit up ! YESSSSS please! It was good as well and when she saw we had finished it, she offered us a free refill. Thank you my new friend! You're the best !!! You made our day !!! We were like we're coming back !!! 2nd time, I had bulgogi breakfast bowl with over medium eggs ! I love eggs with beef ! Who doesn't ?! lol Eggs were perfect ! Beef was perfect too ! My grandson ate all my bulgogi though lol! I guess he liked it too. 3rd time on Friday 7/25/25 Eduardo always very cheerful & welcoming :) I ordered the chicken salad lunch, daughter ordered the green pozole! She's a sucker for green pozole hehe. I loved my salad! It was perfect! The chicken was perfect, pulled pieces with a green dressing that was whoa soooo YUMMMM ! This is making me hungry now. Daughter said pozole was good too Of course we will be back !! Need to try to yellow curry ! Next couple times had to order some previously had dishes like Birria ramen, tacos, pozole and chicken salad. Eduardo also accommodated my grandson, as he loves chicken but we get him grilled chicken. So he made a kids version of the chicken salad and it was just perfect and delicious too. PS good spot for kids too. They have a Foosball table ! So when they get antsy, they can go play! Kids love it and play every time. Great thinking! Thank you for this addition to your restaurant ! It's a plus for us with little ones because it helps with their impatience. This is GOLD !! Thank you Eduardo and Kiren ! We will be back next time we're looking for yummy Mexican food or are nearby. Have you tried ? Let me know if you stop by. I'd love to know what was your favorite dish. Happy eating & happy Yelping ! SYOY or IG ;) PS Support small family owned pro American businesses. We finally decided to try Jazz Cat Cafe after always seeing it and talking about trying it, and…read moreoverall it was pretty disappointing. The service itself honestly wasn't bad at all. Since it was our first time there, we asked the waitress for suggestions on what to order and even how everything worked, and she was nice and helpful throughout the visit. One thing that already started the experience off confusing was that we were only given the regular menu with the QR code. Even though the all-you-can-eat option is advertised right at the front, nobody mentioned it to us at all. We only found out because we asked about it ourselves, and then suddenly they brought out a completely separate menu for the AYCE option. After trying it, I definitely don't think it was worth $40 per person. Another frustrating part was how ordering worked. There were three of us doing AYCE, and we asked for three different meats thinking we'd each try different items. Instead, they brought out three full orders of every single meat we mentioned without clarifying first. That immediately created pressure to finish everything because with AYCE you can get charged extra for leftovers. I really think they should ask customers if they mean one order of each item for the table or multiples of every item before bringing that much food out, especially for first-time customers. We tried the chicken, premium angus beef, and lamb. The chicken honestly had almost no flavor at all and felt pointless to even eat. The premium angus beef was decent, and the lamb was probably the best out of the three, but overall everything was still very bland. I don't eat pork, so we went with one of the vegetarian water-based broths since most of the others are pork based, and unfortunately that broth also tasted extremely plain. The sauces also didn't help much. Most of them had a really strong peanut flavor, and only one of the sauces was even decent, but it was still pretty bland overall. I honestly don't even know what any of them were because they just brought out multiple sauces without really explaining them to us. We even asked what we could add to spice things up and were given chili sauce, but somehow it still barely made a difference. I really wanted to like this place too because the food honestly looked great when it came out, but the flavor just didn't match the presentation at all. Their soda machine was also down during our visit, so there were no sodas available. On top of that, the table we were seated at felt really cramped and pushed right against the wall, which made eating uncomfortable. The restroom was another issue. When I went in, it was dirty enough that I had to clean up after someone else just to use it. The only real positive was that the all-you-can-eat option definitely filled us up, so we at least didn't leave hungry. I just wish the food had more flavor and spice because based on the pictures and the way people talk about this place, I expected a lot better.

Since then, it's become one of our regular spots when we're craving certain dishes that are hard to find done this well. It's easily become one of our favorite restaurants in the area. The interior could use a few improvements as it didn't fee as upscale for the price. This place is located next to a açaí bowl place and a half&half neither being upscale. The parking was easy. There is huge parking lot that's never really filled.
