You can have it either in a combo bowl or rice bowl. I like Carnitas and tried a combo bowl. I had a Carnitas burrito , the Gringo quesadilla , Chicken fried rice and Black beans. It comes in a metal takeout tin. I asked if the Carnitas had onions in it because I'm sensitive to them . The server ( nice guy) said the Carnitas had some but I could have something else if I wanted to. I gave it a try. Both , the burrito and quesadilla had scallions in them. Not a fan of them but I ate it. You get a nice portion of food. Everything was fine . For me a return trip is not in the cards. Too far from my house and the food was average .

Once inside, there are a plentiful number of tables in the smallish restaurant, which does not feel at all cramped. On the day we were there, the owner was behind the counter and took our order. He asked if we had been there before, and since I had not, he took the time to explain the menu to me. They focus nearly exclusively on chicken tenders, and we opted to share The Three Tenders, which comes with...you guessed it...three chicken tenders (with your choice of heat level), three warmed tortillas, pickles, and alley sauce (the house dipping sauce) on the side. We added sides of French fries and Cole slaw, and the owner gave me a free fountain drink since it was my first time there. So nice! We grabbed a high-top table, and once the food came out, and I bit into the first tender, I knew I was eating the best chicken tenders I have ever eaten. Seriously. These are awesome and at a decent price, too. The tenders are very large and perfectly breaded. The spiciness matches the heat level you choose--not to little and not too much. No mushy tempura batter here either. And the house dipping sauce was perfectly suited to the tenders. The fries and slaw were great, too. Filet-o-fish is one of my favorites of all time, and the filet de fish did not disappoint at all! The first bite had us levitating and seeing stars. The tartare sauce that the fried fish was smothered in was delicious and creamy, and the fish fillet itself was tender and flaky. The toasted and soft Japanese bun was the cherry on top. Simple and comforting and nostalgic, but elevated in the best way. We also tried their popular Viva Mexico, but we felt like it lacked in flavor and only tasted spicy, if that makes sense. I chose the 4 tender and tots meal ($10.99) and chose their homestyle tenders and for the two dry rubs, I chose Jalapeno Garlic Ranch and Chili Lime with the Mango Habanero (Spicy Sweet Mango) sauce. This restaurant is located on the north side of FLW, east of the 101 with a few other businesses and food spots. There was plenty of parking and they even have curbside pickup, which is cool.
