Why - they answered my yelp review, taking notice to customer feedback - they took actual action: my complaint was the small quantity of food. well after being back several times, each time was a full satisfying meal I'm so glad b/c there are not many restaurants you can get true healthy tasty dishes that are not just vegetarian but offer quality properly raised fish and beef pork and chicken. I got shrimp street tacos last week. They were good, but a couple things could be improved. For starters everyone that serves tacos should know that you need to warm up the tortilla before serving. Cold tortillas are such a bummer! Second, I paid $9 for two tacos and each taco had literally three shrimp each. These tacos should definitely have more shrimp for the price. Rabano is by far my favorite restaurant in the South Bay!! I'm never ever disappointed with their food! I've been here more than a handful of times and have tried almost everything - Curry chicken bowl, el koreano, pork belly knockout, la bamba, saltado, papas fritas, etc!! I've also tried a bunch of their boba drinks too! They have such a great variety and each dish is just so delicious. My recent go-tos are the curry chicken bowl + chai tea boba. The curry has soooo much flavor. I'm salivating right now just thinking about it. I also usually get it with 1/2 grains + 1/2 salad which goes so perfectly with it. There are a bunch of veggies that already come with this bowl too which I think is great because at other places (at least from what I've seen), they only usually give potatoes with chicken. Here they have bell peppers, potatoes, broccoli and squash. Yum! & the chai tea boba is very refreshing, not too sweet, not too bitter either. Oh & their papas fritas are great appetizers/sides as well! Man.. everything is just good here! If I could eat here everyday, I would!! I recommend this restaurant to all of my friends and family and they all have loved it too! PS if you're in a rush, you can order on their app ahead of time and just pick it up!! I really dig this place and the find here! I am all about quick, easy health foods. I have tried the bowls here, sandwich and the smoothies. They have all been super yummy. My favorite is the bamba bowl which is a Mexican inspired bowl. The Thai bowl is pretty good too but don't put greens in here. They end up wilting from the hot sauce and it's yuck. Also the best smoothie I have ever had is from here. It's called Gooder smoothie and it has oats, dates, vanilla syrup, maple syrup and is seriously like a liquid oatmeal cookie. My boyfriend and I now try to recreate it at home every morning! The prices are really great here for the quality of food that you are getting. And the dish was simple looking, which meant it could go either good or bad. But in this case, it was . My dish was seamless as the meat melted in my mouth and was so tender. The rice was A1, and the beans were mouthwatering (which means something since Im not a beans kinda girl). My boyfriends plate was a party of flavor in your mouth. The meat was super tasty and the fat was savory. I had to hold myself back from devouring his AND my plate. I think I can officially say that I am addicted to this place. I absolutely love the food here and if you haven't been to Rabano yet, stop reading and get over there right now! The prices of everything is more than fair for the quality and quantity that you get here. Another cool thing about the food is that it's healthy so I never really feel guilty coming to eat here so often. I've tried almost everything on the menu at this point and there isn't anything I dislike, although I prefer some items over the others. My favorite bowls would be the La Bamba, Peruvian Saltado, and Lechon Cubano. For sandwiches, my favorites are the Uber Cool CTPB and the Mucho Mojo. Another bonus about this restaurant: THEY HAVE BOBA!!! Where else is anyone going to get good boba in the area? I don't think another place exists. Overall, this was an easy 5/5 for me.
