The highlight of Rabano, for me, are undoubtedly their bowls. They're vast, versatile and their deliciousness is only matched by their freshness. Every bite feels like a celebration of wholesome, nutritious ingredients, leaving you both satisfied and guilt-free. Among their variety, my personal favorite has to be the Kabobs Mediterraneo. The combination of half greens and half grains strikes a perfect balance of flavor and nutrition, ensuring that it isn't just a meal, but a true culinary delight. Although I typically opt for take-out, the interior seating at Rabano does provide a comfortable dining atmosphere for those who prefer to enjoy their meals onsite. As a vegan, I really appreciate how organized and easy to follow Rabano's menu is. They have a good number of vegan offerings and most things could be made vegan under (RV) aka Request Vegan. SPACE // cafe style. Order at the counter, or order by yourself on one of their iPads situated right by the entrance. Grab your receipt and wait for your food to be brought over. This is perfect for introverts. Customer service is friendly and helpful. The owners, a family of siblings - brothers and sister are all very hands on with the customers. Fernando, thank you for your warm welcome each time and knowing exactly how I like my soups. So far, I am a big fan of their soups. It's hard to find creamy vegan soups and Rabano's Cauliflower Kale soup, and Broccoli Parmesan soup without the Parmesan are wonderfully delicious. Roasted Vegetable soup is also excellent. For non-soup entrees, the Chinese Salad is delightful. Owners Mark and Fernando had mentioned about possibly bringing in as a special vegan wonton soup... I really hope they'll make it happen with Chef Robert and look forward to trying it. Rabano is a much welcome addition to the South Bay neighborhood. read more

Rabano is a lovely and unique place in Hermosa Beach. Having already tried a number of healthy restaurants in my home town in Paris, I can definitely say this one is a special one. The atmosphere, the people, the vibe, everything makes you feel at home and you know it is a genuine place that will serve the best quality and yummiest food. As for me, I picked a plate of Ceviche accompanied with a mix of healthy grains. I was extremely surprised by the grains, a mix of brown rice, black rice and quinoa which would seem plain, but in fact, was delicious. The raw tuna was fresh and dipped in a slightly spicy and sweet sauce. Everything was colorful and you can notice the attention to details put by the amazing and energized team in the kitchen. It took me a while to finally get over to Rabano. I was a fan of my local Chinese take out that was there before it so I had to get over my mourning period...haha I had the pork belly bowl. It was good and very flavorful. Quite a bit of food for such a little bowl. Good value. I was hoping for something that could stand toe to toe with the pork belly sandwich from Mendocino Farms (before they franchised) so I feel like it could've been better. It was a little too heavily sauced for me so the flavors couldn't shine. I'll go back and try other things though. I really appreciate all of the creativity that went into all of the dishes. As a first timer writing a yelp review I can honestly say this is the best restaurant ever. The Southwestern salad is by far one of my favorite dishes and I literally just ate one on the 23rd. This place has fantastic food and service!! We had the Spicy Thai Chicken bowl and the Spotlight Burger, Cauliflower soup and Roasted vegetable soup. The Spicy Thai chicken was incredibly flavorful. Brownie was slightly dry but also delicious cuz it's a brownie. It's gluten-free after all. The best part? It's just kind of a mellow meal. There's a lot of places to eat out in South Bay, but I don't always want pizza or sushi or burgers or steak. Sometimes I just want some chill food that's real and good, that's easy to get and easy to take home and this fits the bill! Pick-up is easy. I am going to report this to the health department because 2 Food Poisonings and then seeing the Google review of the man who got food poisoning and knows 4 others who were poisoned says EVERYTHING I NEED TO KNOW. Ruined my weekend, ruined my date night... ruined my Sunday... wasted my money. Do you think I'm mad, mad isn't the word for it and I hope the owners stomach churns as he reads this! It's in a much busier beach area, especially on weekends and there are a lot of parking meters, so parking can be more of a hassle. All cops in do hermosa is print out parking citations & DUI's so stay cautious on the meter and don't drink & drive. Overall, I still recommend Brothers Burrito. I'd say try it for yourself. It may not blow you away, but when you want something quick, affordable and filling, it definitely does the job. Make sure to eat it with the green mild salsa, its great btw!
