Delicious, healthy, fresh food! I've been here twice and I'm obsessed with the salmon bowl. They cook the salmon exactly they way I like it; not overcooked and they leave the skin on for flavor. The first time I had the bowl it included cauliflower and the 2nd time it came with potatoes, so perhaps it's a vegetable mix that changes based on what's available. The only thing you should be mindful of is that the restaurant is extremely small, and the tables are first come first serve, so if you go during a busy time, you may have problems finding a table. read more

The food here is just outstanding. Not only is it healthy but the pricing is really reasonable for what you get. I love the la bamba bowl with pulled pork. Its carnitas style pork and the combo is a great size too. I have two issues I hope can be resolved. 1. The space is soo small. The seating is really clustered and there is no organization for getting seated properly. 2. I really wish they had beer. It would compliment the food so much. So yeah highly recommend this place. Love this place! Affordable prices for gluten-free, healthy, fresh and delicious food. My family was so happy that they even have Himalayan pink salt and organic ketchup. I had a bowl with ancient grains.. black beans, chipotle sauce, and piled with veggies.. mushrooms, broccoli, green beans, sugar peas, red peppers, green peppers, cherry tomatoes, onions, good herbs, great flavor... If I had to buy all the ingredients to make this dish at home, I hesitate to think what it would have cost, because of the great variety of vegetables. I really thought this dish was a great value... My wife and I have visited Rabano's 3 times now so I guess it's time to add my review to the mix. To start off, Rabano's is an excellent choice for a good priced inexpensive lunch with pretty darn tasty food. Rabano's is set up as a modern quick meal place. What I mean by that is that you can order at the counter or self order at an automated kiosk. Service in general is friendly and fairly brisk. The seating area is nice enough but nothing fancy; diners don't linger and hang out. I think they did as well as they could with the space. Now on to the food. Each visit I tried a different Super Bowl. First was the Lechon Cubano. This was the weakest of the three dishes I had. Flavors were a bit too bland for me. 3 stars. For the second visit, I quite enjoyed the Spicy Thai Chicken. The sauce with the chicken was certainly the highlight...super tasty. 5 stars. For our last visit I tried the El Koreano with steak. I also really liked the flavors especially the add of the kimchi and the umami glaze. Yummy. Again 5 stars. My wife the vegetarian has enjoyed the different salad options. She's been happy enough each time. Interesting and different drink options than the usual soda fountain. As a result, 4 star overall ranking, meaning I'm surely going to be back. Need to try the sandwiches! One thing to note is that the restaurant seating area if fairly limited. If you come at a popular time there's a chance you won't find a table even though the restaurant service is fairly speedy and most customers are sitting for maybe at most 30 minutes. Finally made it to Robanos and glad that I did. A small place in an even smaller strip mall carved basically out of the Lazy Acres Market Parking lot - I had seen the mostly young crowd squeezed in and vowed to try it soon. Our group ordered easily on one of several computer terminals; a Chinese chicken salad, Mahi Mahi fish tacos and finally the Spicy Thai Chicken bowl. The food came to our small table of three Made for two and it all looked good, fresh and simple. Just having the option for My Thai bowl of a noodle, rice or raw vegetables base - scored early points with this diner. A forkful did the rest. Plenty of well seasoned white chicken breast meat, a piquant but utterly delicious yellow curry sauce as well as grilled and crisp chopped veggies made this a wonderfully satisfying and surprisingly low carb meal that would be hard to equal for taste, texture and overall satisfaction at a very reasonable price of just $11! My fellow diners allowed tastes of their food choices and all were good though the Mahi Mahi tacos had a slightly fishy after taste though overall healthy and good. The chicken salad looked big and avoiding the wantons ( yeah I know not easy) it was also quite satisfying and fresh tasty. We also sampled a berry smoothly - sweet and thick and a well brewed passion ice tea with fresh orange slice that hit the right spot. So generally thumbs up and we'll be back to try other menu items soon. Oh yes and I guess the waitress saw my disappointment over their policy of no free ice tea refills and brought me one anyway - a nice touch we won't forget. Those are amazing. The gogi tacos, veggie bowl, and portabello/tofu sandwich just didn't have much flavor. I loved all the ingredients, but have had similar things elsewhere that were better My son did like the burger and my daughter said the poke was fine but nothing special. I really wanted to like this place because it is close by and has lots of things I can eat, but I was disappointed. I LOVE the sustainable salmons bowl, if I want more carbs I go with the ancient grains, less then the tossed greens. Extra lemon. lol... Some of these reviews are just too extra. The food was just so blah. The Ahi Poke bowl was disappointingly bland for something that costs $12. For double the portion and triple the flavor, I'd venture a step further to a real poke place up and down PCH, if I were you. It's literally just a small pile of barely seasoned raw fish on top of brown rice. -_- Like, they better have caught that fish this morning with what they're charging. Since America is the land of 2nd chances, I went a second time. I tried the "Tofubello", a mish-mash of the words tofu and portobello, was also yet another bland, serviceable food item that was quite representative of the restaurant: a lazy mish-mash, ahem sorry, fusion of cultural appropriation and basic-ness that's as bland as it was overpriced. The best thing I tried there was perhaps the Thai tea boba. The boba was soft and chewy (surprising!), but is it worth coming back here? No. A reply to the response: Sure, those are nice and all, but I would've liked to not feel like I've been ripped off for bland, mediocre food. I ordered there almost every week. Not anymore. I picked up my order and asked for a small box (the tiny ones you get a McDonald's size) of extra sauce. The person behind the counter went to ask the manager who stood 4 feet away and came back saying I needed to pay for it. Fine even though all previous times I didn't have to when asked. I paid. Then he came back with a box half full and when I asked to fill it up the manager came back and said "sorry this is the amounts we give" I am shocked and kinda very disappointed. The staff don't know what vegan means and the menu is confusing with designations like (RV) which I assumed meant Raw Vegan when in fact it means request vegan. Needless to say, after introducing myself as a vegan, I asked them what their best vegan sellers are. I ended up ordering the Wow me burger which tasted great--like the real thing! I ended up ordering it again the next day. I was so impressed I researched it on their website only to discover it is far from vegan--it is real beef and real cheese. I decided it was time to expand on my menu choices so I got the Lechon Cubano today. The pulled pork was so tender and matched perfectly with the beans. The plantains were the star of the dish.
