The food here is healthy and delicious! I also really enjoy their drinks and appreciate the study cups that are ideal for taking to the beach. They have a variety of proteins on their menu and we enjoyed all of them. My salmon was absolutely delicious and their Asian bowl was light and healthy full of flavor. Service was wonderful, they have plenty of seating and are within walking distance to the beach and great shopping opportunities. Prices and portions are fair, very clean and well run restaurant, highly recommend recommended for a healthy meal near the beach!

Outside patio

Tried this place for the first time and it was fantastic! I already want to go back and try more dishes. Very nice location with a short walk to the beach. The inside was very clean, cute, and spacious. There is also an outside patio. No shortage of sitting options. We ended up ordering the super bowls- VIP Poke and Kebobs Mediterraneo. Both with white rice and greens. I honestly loved both of them equally. The quality of fish in the poke was outstanding and the chicken kebob was so tender and juicy. We also got the Pineapple Zingy Fizzy drink which was very refreshing on the warm day. The staff was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The only thing I want to add is that on the menu board had a key for items, one being a * indicates the item contain nuts. Some of the bowls listed cashew chipotle sauce, but there was no * next to the item name. It's a quick fix to avoid any accidents :)

I had the most fantastic experience here. I encountered it for the first time this week and immediately had to take the opportunity to return within a few days to share with a friend. Only a few minutes from the beach! The super bowls are incredible. We got the kabobs mediterranos and vip poke, and they absolutely surpassed hopes and expectations. The Zingy was incredibly delicious and quenching. Honestly, for how full we were the price seemed fair. The ambiance was strong; wonderful use of space and a visually pleasing aesthetic. Comfortable seats and a large sunny outdoor patio. Service was professional, prompt, and very knowledgeable. I cannot wait to come back and try more diverse items off the menu!

Green Earth vegan burger

I love this place. A full menu with something for everyone. . They have grass fed beef burger in addition to the many bowls, burros, and salads. I had the green earth burger--the vegan option. Great ingredients, locally sourced organic greens. I love the indoor and outdoor seating, depends on how you feel. I really appreciate their attention to organic ingredients since there are far too many places still poisoning patrons with pesticides! Let's pay attention and ask for what we want.

If I lived in LA County, Rabano would absolutely be my go to lunch spot. I ordered the VIP Poke Bowl with sushi grade Ahi tuna, cucumber, scallions, wakame salad, roasted sesame, furikake, rabanitos, cream wasabi, and a side of avocado over white rice. The bowl was vibrant, flavorful, and filling. Every ingredient tasted high quality and thoughtfully combined, creating a rich, perfect bite in every forkful. The presentation was beautiful and colorful, making it just as enjoyable to look at as it was to eat. The space itself is bright, spotless, and welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it a great stop for lunch. Service was friendly and efficient, and everything felt carefully prepared. Hands down one of the most delicious, well crafted poke bowls I've ever had! Yum!

Cucumber Coolness

Amazing service paired with amazing food! Im so glad I passed by this place because I will be going back for sure! I had the cucumber coolness lemonade along with the lomo saltado. I have high hopes for peruvian dishes and this place executed it so well. Very clean interior and exterior with a perfectly matched ambiance. Highly recommend!

I am grateful for my elite bowl and free drink from this summery like eatery. The staff welcomed me with smiles and Jay was pleasant during our conversations. The pork belly bowl was exactly what my senses needed for lunch to keep me motivated.

I came to pick up the food as part of the Yelp elite program. Super impressed by the friendliness of the staff and how fast the service was. The food probably took less than 10 mins to get ready and I was greeted with warmth and smile. I ordered the Koreano bowl (Boneless rib steak, baby bok choy, cucumber, carrot, gochujang, house kimchi, sweet umami glaze). The flavor was intense in a good way, texture was tender and the portion was generous. You can choose a base (grain, salad, noodle) and can do half and half. For the drink, I picked Cucumber Coolness (cucumber, lemonade, mint) and it is refreshing. Definitely interested to try other drinks in future.

Located on Main St in Santa Monica, the patio is a nice size and prime for people watching. The service was ok. It could've been a little better but it wasn't horrible. The cashier was just very to the point. You could tell that the food was made with quality ingredients. Presentation was great. The chocolate mousse was inside a delicate chocolate shell and there was a thin chocolate cake base.

Very good, fresh, and variety of food choices. Excellent service, friendly and quick. Fast casual setting, has tv's in the dining room. Lots of high top tables, so should consider this if you have small kids like me, or have any mobility issues. To be clear, they also have some standard seating (indoor/outdoor), but noticeably more high table tops. The burger was great. Have had several bowls, street tacos and fish options here. All are dynamite. Also tried the Thai tea, surprisingly good for a non-Asian food restaurant. Everything I've had is healthy and fresh. They also have rotating daily soups. Very good and unique. Go...now!

Great vegetarian options and friendly staff. Street parking around the restaurant. The tofu, garlic noodles, and soy meat were all quite good. The Thai curry bowl was really tasty. Generous portions. Lots of drinks to choose from. Overall would highly recommend.

Showtime Burger

All I can say is wow. We're in the area often, and today we were looking for a new, cool spot to try when my wife came across Rábanos. I'm really glad she did. My wife was craving Thai food, so she ordered the Thai dish, while I was stuck between the Peruvian Saltado and the Showtime Burger. I ended up going with the burger, and I'm glad I did. It was absolutely amazing -- flavorful, high quality, and perfectly put together. From the first bite, you could taste all the layers of flavor in what honestly felt like a masterpiece of a burger. Both dishes were very good, but the burger was definitely the winner for us. We also tried the Garage beer, which was super light and delightful, along with a latte. The latte was okay. We're big coffee people, so it didn't quite meet our expectations. It was served too hot, and the milk seemed overheated. The coffee itself tasted good, but it didn't feel carefully crafted. I enjoy latte art and that first sip from a freshly made uncapped latte, and that part was missing for me. That said, the food was so good that we're more than willing to overlook the coffee. Great vibes, superb service, and an overall fantastic experience. Highly, highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back with friends and family.

Cubano with ancient grains

I've enjoyedtheir food in Hermosa and I'm so happy that they have a location in Santa Monica! Wonderful service and super clean layout. I invited people who had never been and we enjoyed everything we ordered. For a lighter lunch we had Chinese chicken salad, the Koreano bowl with ancient grains, the Cubano bowl with ancient grains, and the carne asada with ancient grains. My favorite was the Cubano with fabulous shredded and seared pork, vinegar onions and delicious black beans. All the beef dishes used good quality meat and it was tender with a generous portion for the price. The chicken salad had beautiful watermelon radish slices and mamadaron orange segments. It came with a very light dressing and the chicken was moist. I will have to come back one day to try their coffee and dessert! Beautiful patio right on main street with heaters for chilly beach weather.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and even without a reservation, they were able to seat us right away. Definitely 5 stars for service and not being rude, but friendly and attentive even at a busy time (World Cup was on tv!). I heard alllll about the happy hour specials so I was stoked when we were able to get the best outdoor seating and the happy hour was going on until 7pm he said. So naturally, ordered a bunch of things to try. Unfortunately, that was a solid 3 stars for me. It was just fine. I was actually bummed because I was so excited to try the menu items. They were okay. Ordered sliders (kinda dry and without flavor), Parmesan fries (seasoning was there but not very flavorful and the sauce was bland, the krab rangoons resembled egg rolls (that was new!) and fish tacos were meh. My friend ordered the chicken and it came with fries (the dish not happy hour selection) and that looks more substantial but maybe not worth $32. The drink was sweet (pink lady). Outdoor vibes were cool and def a great spot at the end of 3rd street but probably wouldn't come here for the food. Again, indoor (big tv!!) and outdoor set up was awesome, but food is just okay. Great for large groups but make a reservation!

Parking: They have an adjacent paid parking lot though metered street parking is cheaper since they unfortunately don't validate. Ambiance: Really gorgeous inside, with high arced wooden beam ceilings, natural light through skylights, romantic dim lighting, candles, lots of potted trees for greenery, and velvet seating to add elegance. Even the plates are worth admiring. They have a nice patio with heat lamps for cooler evenings as well. I absolutely love the vibes for date night. I have eaten here four times now and have a reservation ready for my fifth. The menu changes EVERY WEEK and the fact that the ingredients are so seasonal, and the chef really seems to takes pride and passion in creating different dishes so often, keeps me coming back each time. They have done specials from Sunday Night $35 7-course omakase to 50% off Neighborhood Patio nights to $65 for two 4-course date nights and the quality is so worth it. I even came by for an art class hosted on the patio since they hold multiple community events, including sports watch parties. The best yellowtail I've had (including eating in Japan and various sushi spots in LA, OC, SF, and NY) was surprisingly here, at a place I was honestly hesitant to even order sushi from. It's the first time I actually really could taste the flavor as it's more subtle than tuna, salmon, or albacore but they somehow made it incredibly memorable from the freshness. Definitely order the hamachi with pomegranate. I loved the flavor with the ponzu and that it wasn't just the basic jalapeño combo. There was a Singaporean crab garlic butter noodle dish they made once that was incredible though sadly seemed to be on the menu that time only. This was my absolute favorite entree they've offered so far. The gem lettuces Caesar salad is amazing although unfortunately, both times I've ordered it without cheese, they forgot. The boquerones (anchovies) are a gem (ha) that really adds to the salad and I love the texture from the herb crust. Their signature shrimp toast has a good crunch from the sesame seeds and distinct pieces of shrimp rather than mush inside and the ikura on top adds another good layer of flavor. The vegetable curry was rich, flavorful, and savory witbout being too heavy with perfectly cooked potatoes that didn't just hide in the sauce in a way that actually didn't make me miss the meat. The short rib curry had such tender meat and the roti made in house was actually a major highlight for me as it was so flaky, hot, crispy and had an amazing garlic flavor. The chocolate pot de creme had a good orange zest flavor to add to the chocolate and wasn't too rich or heavy though the texture was thicker. The calamari had super crispy batter so didn't associate it as much with a lighter tempura one but the lemons in it and the roasted garlic marinara sauce it came with were so good and added a lot of depth. The butter curry prawns has SUCH well cooked shrimp - flavor was amazing. Miso salmon was good though crispy skin side up would have been better personally. I liked the olive oil flavor in the vinaigrette and the lemon with veggies on the side as well. The tres leches was surprisingly light for a cake and very moist so I enjoyed a lot and the caramel ice cream wasn't overly sweet. The lychee vodka drink is my favorite (came with a drink pairing they offered with Sunday omakase) and the imperial gold yuzu cocktail is better for those who like a stronger drink. The grilled asparagus was cooked to a tenderness with great flavor from the crispy onions on top that have somehow made it among my top favorite dishes here, despite it just being a small side vegetable dish but I didn't like asparagus until this! I would definitely recommend coming here for dinner over brunch personally, as those have been my most memorable bites. Definitely order the yellowtail sashimi, shrimp toast, gem lettuces Caesar salad! Hoping the garlic butter crab noodles, grilled asparagus with crispy onions, and housemade roti reappear on the dinner menu!

It swings from Vietnamese small plates to a straightforward steak, and the range never settles into a point of view -- it reads less like a confident eclectic kitchen than a grab bag. The fried red snapper was the standout: crisp, well-cooked, good enough to stand on its own. It came with a fish sauce for dipping that it didn't need -- a wedge of lemon on the side would have suited it far better. The Vietnamese crab cake was a real miss; I couldn't get past it. The dumplings were fine but forgettable. Service ran to extremes. Our server was warm and eager, almost too eager -- he pushed a bottle of wine we weren't sold on, and we ordered it anyway. Then, after all that attentiveness, he disappeared toward the end of the meal and never came back. The wine list was fine, nothing memorable. There's real skill in that kitchen -- the snapper proves it -- but the meal never added up to more than its parts. I left full, not delighted.

If you're coming on a weekend, prepare for a crowd, but it's the good kind of crowded where everyone looks like they just came from a gallery opening. The Food: I'm still thinking about the Crispy Chicken Sandwich--it was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and came with a fennel-apple slaw that actually felt fresh. We also shared the Bacon Wrapped Dates (obviously) and the Hand Cut Kennebec Fries, which arrive in a bowl so huge it could basically be its own zip code. The Drinks: Their Happy Hour is arguably the best in the city. I had the Japanese Dream with matcha, and it was expertly crafted--not too sweet, which is my biggest pet peeve. The "Misfit" Moment: The service can be a tiny bit slow when it's "rammed," and there's a 4% kitchen fee that feels a bit unnecessary, but they make up for it with those complimentary sea salt chocolate chip cookies at the end. We had a reservation for 14 and somehow they lost it (even though someone called to confirm the day before) -- so they had to quickly set up a table for 14 which they clearly did not do that often -- it was all squished between plants and heaters. After waiting 10+ minutes we were finally seated. Right away we noticed that the menus were different, not drastically but enough to cause some confusion. The waitress seemed very flustered and kept mentioning that our group was not expected. We started off with drinks -- I got a strawberry lemon tart -- it was good but the strawberries were a bit too chunky for a cocktail (IMO).
