Great location! Friendly menu! Clean and welcoming. Staff- 5 stars. Will come again. Very relaxing with the water running and inside is quiet. Free WiFi.

Tucked inside what looks like a mix of apartments and offices, this little coffee shop feels like a hidden spot. There's a nice outdoor patio with umbrellas for shade, and inside it's very open, though seating is pretty limited. I was greeted by Mariza (per the receipt) -- super friendly and patient with all my questions. I ordered a breakfast croissant and an iced matcha. The matcha was easily the highlight! No added sugar (thank you!) and a generous amount of matcha, so you really get those earthy tones. Definitely something I'd come back for. The breakfast croissant, on the other hand, was just okay, nothing special and honestly something I could make better at home. At around $26 for the two items, the price felt a little steep for what I got. Later in the day, I came back for an iced americano, it was fine, but nothing memorable. Overall: the matcha is worth it, the customer service is excellent, and the vibe is really nice if you're looking for a spot to hang out. There's also a nice little courtyard connected to the property that adds to the atmosphere. I'd come back for drinks, but probably skip the food next time.

Half-eaten almond croissant, vanilla latte, berry smoothie

A hidden gem tucked beneath an apartment complex in Santa Monica. We got a sugar free iced vanilla latte, berry smoothie, and almond croissant - we devoured all & had to immediately complement the owner who was so so nice ! They have indoor and outdoor seating, a little park area, & very comfortable seating. Parking around the neighborhood is free and easy.

This is a hidden gem! It's such a great (aesthetic) work space and the coffee and food is amazing. The staff is welcoming which is a huge plus. You can also enjoy the outdoor seating area.

Sweet little cafe located in the lobby of a nice apartment building! I needed a place to set up shop in the area, and I'm glad I ended up here. The ambiance was just what I needed to get some work done: free fast WiFi, tons of sunlight plus overhead light, clean tables, and quiet. I was mostly surprised by the lack of noise. There was music gently playing in the background (nothing too distracting) and the other patrons mostly kept to themselves or were also working. The bathrooms are also spacious, bright, and well kept. This is clearly a super nice building, albeit a little sterile. I ordered a double espresso. It was a bold roast and I like that they had actual mugs and glasses if you order for here. The syrups are all Toroni, which isn't bad but I typically only get a flavored latte if the syrups are made in house. It seems like the rest of the food and smoothies are freshly made. I was able to find a parking spot in the surrounding neighborhood, but I did manage to come during the exact timeframe of street sweeping so I only had half the options. Should be a bit easier if you come anytime other than Thurs/Fri 10AM-12PM! I tried to enter the cafe from Granville and had to walk through an area that was not very pedestrian friendly. It might be nicer if you enter from Stoner, or through the park on Wilshire.

$17 for a sandwich and they give you 2 slices of turkey. Quality of the food is good but it's a total rip off.

The cafe was very nice and clean. The staff were very friendly. I ordered the steak and eggs (ordered steak medium well they suggest medium and should have gone with their suggestion) either way it was delicious. I would highly recommend this place the ambiance and service was A+.

@thelandmarkcafe , I like you a BRUNCH! LA brunch doesn't get much better than enjoying beautifully crafted organic coffees, pastries and breakfast staples with a gorgeous and tranquil view of the park. Tucked discreetly inside the @landmarkapartmentsla , this cafe features an impressive menu of fresh drink and food items, as well as complimentary parking and WiFi, making it perfect for a productive solo work sesh or a brunch outing. If you're in the Brentwood area, I highly recommend stopping by and checking out this hidden gem! We had our dog with us so the dog-friendly patio was what drew us to selecting Goodpeople. We found street parking after circling the neighborhood a couple of times. We split the Los Cali Brekkie burrito which features sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, cheese, French fries and a house made Sriracha aioli but we substituted the cilantro aioli. The filling of the burriot was super soft and mush but it worked. There was a guy out back frying up fresh donuts. PROTIP: Study the menu beforehand, eat on the Patio, order the Wngs and Short Rib and Try Son Nong Dan across the street. SUMMARY: Go to Koreatown and get better food for less I finally visited the much hyped Mulberry the other night, expecting a fantastic experience based on all the hype and social media. What I got was an overpriced meal on Sawtelle that watered down what should have been a showcase for excellent Korean food.  Mulberry is cramped and dark on the inside and excellent on the patio. There are some interesting tables inside near the back, but the Patio is where the action is, especially when the sun is out.It has shades of Hatchet Hall's ambiance and a great vibe. Service comes fast and is very good. They do know what they are doing from a service perspective. Drink orders arrive quickly, and food is served fairly fast. We knew what we wanted before going. Korean Pancake, Wings, Dumplings, Acorn Noodles and Short Ribs.  Korean Pancake - small and just ok flavor. The sauce was good, but for $17, you could get a giant, better tasting pancake almost anywhere else. Fried Chicken Wings - probably one of the two stars of the night--had a fantastic crust and were very plump and juicy. Sauce and pickles were excellent and you get two types of wings with each order, both were excellent.  Acorn Noodles - a very good mix of flavors, good nori, the hard-boiled egg (a surprise) was good--expensive for $22Steamed Dumplings - well made and cooked well, but the lackluster sauce served with them didn't help. A well-crafted dumpling that needs a much more flavorful sauce to accompany it.  Beef Short Ribs - The other star on the menu, along with the wings. Very tender and great taste. Use the salt! We ordered the extras which you don't have to do. Small piece for $49. It's a No Tip restaurant so you get the automatic 20% charge - which I did not mind. Pay the help. Our bill came to $200 for a meal that was probably worth $100.You can go to some of the AYCE Korean BBQ places and get better quality, more food and be happier. The hype for this place will die down. If you like Sawtelle go to Son Nong Dan across the street for an overall better experience and better pricing.
