The food, coffee, and atmosphere were wonderful, but there is a major safety hazard on the way to the parking lot. My two friends tripped over a small, unmarked step and fell badly, ending up with bleeding scrapes on their arms, legs, and faces. This area is very dangerous and needs proper warning signs and accessibility improvements immediately to prevent further injuries. read more

This cafe is a gem! Recently changed ownership and the service is absolutely amazing. The menu is very well priced and offers a good selection of both breakfast and lunch/dinner options including bowls, wraps, pastries and even Peruvian ceviche! The ambience is casual and the space is really pretty with floor to ceiling windows. The outdoor sitting area is very tranquil next to the a little park. The entrance to the cafe is through the park entry on the corner of Wilshire and Stoner with The Landmark Apartments sign, there is plenty of street parking on the surrounding streets. read more

I love the matcha latte. It is high grade matcha and I love the private scenario/ location.

Cute cafe and the service is great. The barista there was so kind! I wouldn't go out of my way to go here but if you happen to be in the area they have affordable prices and lots of good outdoor space. FYI they do not currently have the grill with hot food. They said it will be back in two weeks but for now it's just drinks and pastries. Looking forward to when they have food again because every one said it was amazing. read more

Tucked inside what looks like a mix of apartments and offices, this little coffee shop feels like a hidden spot. There's a nice outdoor patio with umbrellas for shade, and inside it's very open, though seating is pretty limited. I was greeted by Mariza (per the receipt) -- super friendly and patient with all my questions. I ordered a breakfast croissant and an iced matcha. The matcha was easily the highlight! No added sugar (thank you!) and a generous amount of matcha, so you really get those earthy tones. Definitely something I'd come back for. The breakfast croissant, on the other hand, was just okay, nothing special and honestly something I could make better at home. At around $26 for the two items, the price felt a little steep for what I got. Later in the day, I came back for an iced americano, it was fine, but nothing memorable. Overall: the matcha is worth it, the customer service is excellent, and the vibe is really nice if you're looking for a spot to hang out. There's also a nice little courtyard connected to the property that adds to the atmosphere. I'd come back for drinks, but probably skip the food next time. read more

Sweet little cafe located in the lobby of a nice apartment building! I needed a place to set up shop in the area, and I'm glad I ended up here. The ambiance was just what I needed to get some work done: free fast WiFi, tons of sunlight plus overhead light, clean tables, and quiet. I was mostly surprised by the lack of noise. There was music gently playing in the background (nothing too distracting) and the other patrons mostly kept to themselves or were also working. The bathrooms are also spacious, bright, and well kept. This is clearly a super nice building, albeit a little sterile. I ordered a double espresso. It was a bold roast and I like that they had actual mugs and glasses if you order for here. The syrups are all Toroni, which isn't bad but I typically only get a flavored latte if the syrups are made in house. It seems like the rest of the food and smoothies are freshly made. I was able to find a parking spot in the surrounding neighborhood, but I did manage to come during the exact timeframe of street sweeping so I only had half the options. Should be a bit easier if you come anytime other than Thurs/Fri 10AM-12PM! I tried to enter the cafe from Granville and had to walk through an area that was not very pedestrian friendly. It might be nicer if you enter from Stoner, or through the park on Wilshire. read more

Even though I should; I can't gate-keep this place. Landmark is too remarkable. hidden in the garden of a private-ish park for a Class A commercial and apartment buildings this place is epic! Think of it as a low key executive Zinque with hotter people and better food at an even better value (and I love Zinque). This is the casual place that will impress a date or meeting without being too much. The food is not just good it is subtle, nostalgic and unique. The best part is all the love the staff exudes. The service is not just warm it is loving and doting. The park and valet (more of a red carpet event) reflect calm luxury that make you think you stubbled into some idilic future out of West World where nature and uber design merge to cradle you with breeze, grass, plenty of puppies and squirrels roaming the exteriors, as well as people that are almost too attractive to be real. In the abrasive concrete jungle at this end of Wilshire, Landmark is an oasis that nourishes your soul as much as your stomach. If you're in the mood for something light and refreshing, you have to try the Peruvian ceviche. It's bright, zesty, and just packed with fresh flavor. Honestly, I didn't expect to find ceviche this good at a cafe. Total win. Perfect spot to grab a coffee, catch up with a friend, or just hang out for a bit, and enjoy some really good food. Updating and lowering to 3 stars: Woman behind the counter afternoons is rude, unhelpful, and overfills the coffees to the point of spillage. Asked for a wet napkin to wipe my computer screen; you'd think I'd asked for her first born. Literally 2 drops of water. Asked her to rewet it and get it WET. Nope, still stingy with the water. Otherwise still a lovely atmosphere. Old review: Can't vouch for the food, because I didn't have any, but the muffin (which they warmed up) and the coffee (nice and hot) was terrific. It's a nice wide-open space, super clean and acoustics that don't force you to hear your neighbor (plus the tables are far about). This coffee shop is such a hidden gem! I wish more people knew about it. Location is near UCLA so its perfect for students looking for a place to study or just meet up with a friend. The ambiance is always very nice and makes it easy to focus and get your work done. The food here is of great quality, with everything tasting so fresh, it makes me want to try something new every time I visit. My review cannot do this place justice for how amazing it is. The staff is impeccable, so warm and inviting, they genuinely care so much about your experience and input. The owners are so hardworking and incredibly kind. There is so much heart and soul into how well they maintain the cafe. It's in a location of some luxury apartments, so it's out of the view which is why I think it remains a hidden gem, but that's what gives it so much charm! Its refreshingly peaceful, the people are nice, everyone minds their business and you don't feel ostracized (which is something I always observe when I'm studying at cafés). I've never found a cafe that has made me feel so welcomed. There is outdoor seating, plenty of indoor seating, restrooms, free WiFi and just a relaxing vibe where you can truly enjoy your surroundings. Definitely perfect for a reading date. It's tall windows allow for such beautiful sunlight. There's always music gently playing in the background. It's definitely a modern luxe environment but it has a twist of nostalgia and warmth. I always get lucky with street parking, I don't know if that's always the case for many, but there seems to be ample space around the neighborhood for parking. Will definitely visit again. read more

This place is absolutely wonderful. The cleanliness and hospitality are top notch. The food was incredible. I started off with the sea bass ceviche. (which I'd never eaten prior) and got it mildly spicy. The dish was refreshingly marvelous. The texture and flavors were so so so good. The fish was fresh with the crunch of two different Peruvian corn kernels, plantain chips, red onions and the sweet carrot. Perfection! Next the main course. The pesto noodle pasta with steak. OH MY LAWD! The noodles made from scratch. The creamy richness coupled with just the right amount of cheese and al dente done right. Bruuuuuuuuh! My steak was tender AF. I ordered mine medium rare and the chef was on point. Seasoned just right, tender, succulent, mad flavorful. It tasted and cut like butter. I finished off my meal with a lavender latte. AYO, I am far from a coffee connoisseur, but I know good quality when I experience it. The beans rival the best cup of Columbian, Cuban, Turkish, Armenian lol or Bustelo I've had. In addition, the coffee was accompanied with this tiny morsel of power in the form of an itty bitty mini muffin. You only needed to nibble at it because the flavor and sweetness lasted. Not overpowering but just enough to last with the large cup of coffee I had. The lavender flavor was an excellent touch. The owners Juan Pablo and his wife Paula were exceptional and gracious. The cafe itself is spacious, full of natural light, CLEAN, and nestled in a lovely building with outside seating as well and next to a beautiful park surrounded by high-rise buildings. This was my first time there and I'll be returning on an empty stomach with friends. read more

It is a gated community. Best way to enter the plaza is from Granville Ave. It is located on the ground floor of the LMLA apartment building. Very cute courtyard seating area with lots of greens/plants & fountain. Inside the cafe, large windows bringing good lighting. Great place for breakfast/brunch! They just opened a few months ago. Hours are from 7am to 3pm. I am hoping they will open in the evening in the near future because I could totally picture myself sitting in the courtyard having a glass of wine & cheese platter next to the fire pit with the sound of water fountain. It would be so relaxing. The Service: David was taking my order at the counter. He is very nice & friendly. Very attentive & efficient. Great customer service! The Food: They have fresh pastries daily. Simple grab & go breakfast option. I am so into the acai bowl lately, definitely want to try theirs. Healthy breakfast with fresh fruit & granola. Very refreshing. I also tried the Chicken Avocado Sandwich. Nicely toasted sourdough bread with tender chicken breast, fresh avocado & etc. You can choose side of fresh fruit or potato. Good for brunch or lunch choice. Okay location is pretty easy to walk pass my friend and I did several times as the address is a bit off just look out for Granville & Wilshire. There is a big black gate you'll walk through the garden and the cafe is back where the sky rises apartments are. Upon arrival I was blown away with how beautiful and modern it looks. Sam helped us out she was pretty friendly and great with suggestions. It's pretty spacious with indoor & outside seating and perfect to get some done here. My friend had the Lox salad which is a pretty filling amount so perfect to share. I tried the chicken avocado sandwich which was a 10/10 I took a box because I wanted to savor it later lol. They offer tea & a variety of pressed juices as well as pastries. read more
