    Caffe latte with Greek salad

Great location! Friendly menu! Clean and welcoming. Staff- 5 stars. Will come again. Very relaxing with the water running and inside is quiet. Free WiFi.

Half-eaten almond croissant, vanilla latte, berry smoothie

A hidden gem tucked beneath an apartment complex in Santa Monica. We got a sugar free iced vanilla latte, berry smoothie, and almond croissant - we devoured all & had to immediately complement the owner who was so so nice ! They have indoor and outdoor seating, a little park area, & very comfortable seating. Parking around the neighborhood is free and easy.

This is a hidden gem! It's such a great (aesthetic) work space and the coffee and food is amazing. The staff is welcoming which is a huge plus. You can also enjoy the outdoor seating area.

Tucked inside what looks like a mix of apartments and offices, this little coffee shop feels like a hidden spot. There's a nice outdoor patio with umbrellas for shade, and inside it's very open, though seating is pretty limited. I was greeted by Mariza (per the receipt) -- super friendly and patient with all my questions. I ordered a breakfast croissant and an iced matcha. The matcha was easily the highlight! No added sugar (thank you!) and a generous amount of matcha, so you really get those earthy tones. Definitely something I'd come back for. The breakfast croissant, on the other hand, was just okay, nothing special and honestly something I could make better at home. At around $26 for the two items, the price felt a little steep for what I got. Later in the day, I came back for an iced americano, it was fine, but nothing memorable. Overall: the matcha is worth it, the customer service is excellent, and the vibe is really nice if you're looking for a spot to hang out. There's also a nice little courtyard connected to the property that adds to the atmosphere. I'd come back for drinks, but probably skip the food next time.

    Double espresso and iced latte

Sweet little cafe located in the lobby of a nice apartment building! I needed a place to set up shop in the area, and I'm glad I ended up here. The ambiance was just what I needed to get some work done: free fast WiFi, tons of sunlight plus overhead light, clean tables, and quiet. I was mostly surprised by the lack of noise. There was music gently playing in the background (nothing too distracting) and the other patrons mostly kept to themselves or were also working. The bathrooms are also spacious, bright, and well kept. This is clearly a super nice building, albeit a little sterile. I ordered a double espresso. It was a bold roast and I like that they had actual mugs and glasses if you order for here. The syrups are all Toroni, which isn't bad but I typically only get a flavored latte if the syrups are made in house. It seems like the rest of the food and smoothies are freshly made. I was able to find a parking spot in the surrounding neighborhood, but I did manage to come during the exact timeframe of street sweeping so I only had half the options. Should be a bit easier if you come anytime other than Thurs/Fri 10AM-12PM! I tried to enter the cafe from Granville and had to walk through an area that was not very pedestrian friendly. It might be nicer if you enter from Stoner, or through the park on Wilshire.

$17 for a sandwich and they give you 2 slices of turkey. Quality of the food is good but it's a total rip off.

The cafe was very nice and clean. The staff were very friendly. I ordered the steak and eggs (ordered steak medium well they suggest medium and should have gone with their suggestion) either way it was delicious. I would highly recommend this place the ambiance and service was A+.

However, I felt that the overall food selection and execution fell below my expectations. We started off strong with the banana milk and the flower sour cocktails followed by Korean Aguachile and Chilled Acorn Noodle (도토리국수, dotori guksu) for appetizers. Then came the main entrees, Bluefin Tuna Bibimbap and Steak Tartare in a Stone Pot. The bibimbap didn't feel like a well conceived dish as the large thick pieces of tuna, large cut perilla and lettuce leaves, large purple radish slices, unseasoned rice needed something else to bring it all together. The steak tartare felt flashy and lost in its expression of Korean heritage. The steak was outwardly cooked by the hot stone bowl but still raw inside, creating an unappetizing texture of ground beef strings as if it were just out of the meat grinder. We finished the night well with a Hotteok a la Mode. I'm hoping that The Mulberry will revamp their main entree menu in the future, but I probably wouldn't revisit in the near future. Online reservations are definitely needed. Street parking is limited as usual on Sawtelle. Valet parking is available. 20% tip is already included in your check. Service was very attentive and warm.

The only drink available aside from bottled and canned drinks was orange juice, and it wasn't very good. I'm glad I finally tried the burrito! I ordered an extra honey chipotle aioli to try both of em, and both are good but I still prefer the cilantro lime. The concept was founded by three UCLA alumni and they started as a backyard burrito pop-up in late 2023. Currently Sobuneh has a location at The Colony (a ghost kitchen that serves over 15 businesses) and a new standalone location in West Hollywood. [Parking]: Metered parking or paid public parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. There is a small parking lot behind the building, but it is mostly reserved for food delivery drivers. [Ordering]: Visitors can order via the kiosk at The Colony or place an online order ahead of time. I went with the second option and my order was ready for pickup in less than 10 minutes. [Atmosphere] The Colony has an outdoor patio area with tables or customers can sit at the limited indoor tables with a TV playing ESPN. [Menu]: All breakfast burritos are served with a choice of cilantro-lime aioli or honey chipotle aioli on the side. Specialty drinks, espresso, matcha, cold brew, tea, and refreshers are only served at the West Hollywood location. This spot serves only four types of breakfast burritos: The Sig (beef chorizo), The BB (beef bacon), The Cali (steak), and The Veg. *** The Sig (pasture-raised organic eggs, beef chorizo, cheddar, avocado, tater tots, black beans, honey chipotle aioli, and cilantro-lime aioli served with pickled onions - Honey Chipotle Aioli, $18): For an $18 breakfast burrito, the portion was smaller than I expected and I was able to finish the entire whole burrito in 5 minutes. The burrito itself tasted mediocre and the flavor was not exactly on point (not sure why a breakfast burrito needs black beans and pickled onions). The honey chipotle sauce was a bit overpowering to the point that it masked the burrito's flavor itself (not that there was much flavor to begin with). *** Personally I would rather order a breakfast burrito from Bad-Aaa Breakfast Burritos (part of Dog Haus) than from here. At least Bad-Aaa Breakfast Burritos has a larger portion, tastes slightly better, and is less expensive. For anyone who really wants to try the hype, maybe stick with The Cali as it doesn't have black beans and pickled onions.
