I took my father their for new dentures; he lost the old ones. They quoted over $3000 and said his insurance would not cover this. He then went to Sunrise dental to get a second opinion. They said his insurance would cover and his cost would be $513. Sunrise requested his xrays from Radiant and was denied. I called them and they said I had to email them a form for release it would take two days to process. I did this and a week later back at Sunrise they had not received the xrays. I called Radiant they said that office was closed I'd have to try tomorrow. After literally yelling at them they sent the file. The second star is due to one person that knew how to find and send a digital file. Summary: over priced and incompitant. read more

Like many people, I don't like the dentist. It makes me nervous and anxious so when it came time to find a new dentist, I did my RESEARCH and came upon Radiant Smiles. I was still nervous for my first appointment but from the moment I walked through the doors, they were warm and welcoming. The front office staff had a smile and were courteous. Once I was brought back, I worked with Sabina (? I think that's how you spell it!) and she was so funny and made me felt so welcome. Then I got to meet with Dr. Azzam. She was so nice! I knew I had some problems with my teeth but she assured me that she would help me fix any issues. She made me feel at ease and comfortable and most of all she did not make me feel bad like it was my fault as previous dentists had. She worked meticulously but also quickly because I needed to get back home at a certain time. I was never in any pain and honestly probably could have fallen asleep while getting my teeth worked on. Next I worked with Maria who fitted me for my temporary crown and scanned my teeth for a mouth guard and let me tell you MARIA IS SO GOOD at her job. She did just a great job with both procedures and reassured me at every step. Lastly, there was Sam who walked with me about how much my procedures would cost. Of course this process is always stressful but he reassured me several times that they could make it work and I would not be left paying an arm and a leg. Overall I had such a wonderful experience and I never thought I would say this but I am looking forward to my next dentist appointment! read more

First of all I'm not doing this review for a Free Whitening Kit. Personally I think they should do away with that offer! I was referred there through the VA Community Care Program for a set of Immediate and Permanent Dentures. I was seen by Dr Azzam who was extremely kind and very professional. She guided me through the entire process of the fitting and made me feel very comfortable with the end results. I was also informed that if at any time I was not pleased or needed adjustments just to make an appointment and I would be taken care of. When you have periodontal disease. You get a deep clean. Then you do periodontal maintenance so you don't need another deep clean. This place was so incredibly unprofessional and it was apparent they were trying to sell the dream. They did very brief xrays, no mouth exam, and No tooth pocket check whatsoever but yet they were able to be so sure about a periodontal disease diagnosis and a possibility of 5-7 cavities. Wow! What a bill that would have been. Please get a second opinion after coming here. They had me sit there for almost 2 hours, i waited for 45 min before i got called back and then after xrays there was 2 different nurses who came in to give their opinion and then the doctor came to say i have periodontal disease and she never even looked in my mouth, only at the Xrays and pictures. Then an "office manager" came by and pretend to be sincere with a condescending attitude that i considered to be comical as he implied he was helping me. Even though i came in for an exam and cleaning. Then we ran out of time for the cleaning and when i came back they gave me the lowest effort "cleaning" due to this imaginary disease they "diagnosed" me with. All of this was Interesting because when i went to another office they said i had one cavity and absolutely no possibility of any gum disease. None! As others have said, this place is all about money and not about providing the best care for their patients. At my daughter's first visit with them over a year ago, she was told that she would need to have major oral surgery in addition to braces, and they pressured her into applying for a Care Credit loan. As an unemployed college student with little experience in how to navigate high sales tactics, she agreed because they scared her into thinking it was necessary. Thank God that application was denied, otherwise she would be responsible for a bill that she cannot pay. At a recent orthodontic consult, she was informed that all she would need are caps or "spacers" put on her back molars to correct a bite and NOT the surgery that Radiant Smiles tried to scare her into. I have new and much better insurance through my employment that will cover 100% of regular preventative care and orthodontia. So yesterday my daughter went in for her regular cleaning prior to an orthodontic appointment. The doctor told my daughter that she would need a deep cleaning with lasers and it was going to cost me almost $900 from my HSA or they would need to do financing and make payments. I couldn't believe the audacity as my daughter's last cleaning was less than a year ago! I denied the need for a laser, and insisted that they do what was covered by insurance. Their in-house financial guy insisted that the deep cleaning was necessary, and without lasers it would cost about $400. I reluctantly paid the amount with my HSA. Later, after looking over what my premium dental plan covers, I found that deep cleaning is covered 100%. When I brought this to the man's attention, he insisted that the fax they received back from my insurance stated that it would only cover 80% of the deep cleaning because my daughter is under age 65. He proceeded to print out the fax from my insurance and even wrote down the code they used to bill. I left there feeling like they purposely performed an unnecessary procedure or used the wrong code in order to bill at a higher rate. Either way the financial guy was condescending and rude, and completely unwilling to listen to what I was telling him. At the end, he was quite dismissive and advised me to "maybe talk to my insurance company and get a better plan", but he did it in the most patronizingly fake polite tone possible. As I've been a patient there too and felt like I was also pressured into unnecessary treatment, I advised my daughter that this will be the last time we do business at this dental office. I feel like I was completely scammed and I'm pissed. As others have said, beware before seeking care at this place read more

I have full dentures going on about 35 yrs now. I spent a small fortune trying to get my original teeth fixed & in the end it was all for nothing. Not to mention the pain I went through. Luckily I found Radiant Smiles. The staff was super nice & polite. Made me feel like a family member. My old dentures cracked while eating a toast with avocado. Dr. Azzam made my new dentures. She did such an amazing job that I don't even need to glue them on anymore, which I hated having to do. Everyone keeps giving me positive compliments. Like there something different about my face. It really did change my features. I feel confident smiling now. I can eat anything I want. I ended up loosing a lot of weight with the old dentures. Now I can bite into anything no problems at all. Thank you Dr. Azzam for being so great at what you do. I would recommend her to anyone, but specially if you need new dentures. She's got you covered & then some. Offices like these are why people fear going to the dentist. After speaking with Santiago, who tried to severely upcharge us for dental work for my husband that (come to find out), was not advised by their dentist even, (Santiago advised there were to be two root canals done but in reviewing the "Treatment Plan" there was nothing advised of a root canal(s), only gum cleaning, laser treatment, and irrigation.) Santiago then suggested that it would be "three to four weeks for the Pre-Auth to come through", but our insurance advised five business days if we sent it to them electronically OR, we could pay out of pocket, of course, *wink wink nudge nudge from Santiago*. I called the office for two days straight and sent an email requesting the Pre-Auth to be emailed to me so I could help THEM get it over to our insurance, but it was never received. I think it was divine intervention at this point and the Good Lord saying "Go Elsewhere", which is why I never received it. At this point, we'll be getting a second opinion and I suggest all others out there.........to do the same. read more

This place is horrible. I took my daughter to her first appointment with Radiant Smiles and we waited an hour before we were called back. There was 2 people at the front desk checking in patients, answering phones and trying to do paperwork. They were back up and locked flustered and confused. When we're called back, after reminding them that we had been waiting for over an hour, my daughter sat there another 10 minutes before her X-rays were done. I've been to many dentist over the years having 4 children and I've never experienced such unprofessional behavior. The dental assistants in the back were laughing and talking amongst each other while patients were waiting in there rooms. After speaking with the dentist about treatment. I went to check out and they had added more treatment to my child's paperwork which I hadn't spoken with the dentist about and I was told that this treatment (gum cleaning) wouldn't be covered by my insurance and we had to pay out of pocket. And they wanted to do it now. I told them I need to reschedule. I had been there for hours and had things to do. He scheduled me for 2 days later. After my daughter complained and we decided we wanted to try to find a different location I called to cancel our appointment and was told there would be a $50 fee. They are an unprofessional, money hungry company that does not value their patients. I Would never recommend Radiant Smiles to anyone. read more

After reading the negative reviews on this site I will attest they are all true. I was charged $1200 for a 20 minute " deep cleaning " Which didn't even include a tooth polishing . It was my fault to agree to this total rip off. When I expressed disappointment about the cleaning , Sam the manager promised a redo which was never given to me. I had the pleasure of having my long-due dental work performed by the extraordinary staff at Radiant Smiles in Henderson, NV. I was reluctant since I am new to a Medicare Advantage plan and was forced to change providers. I feel like I hit the jackpot with Dr. Azzam and her excellent staff. I was immediately put to ease as I received professional and compassionate care in an office that is welcoming, clean, aesthetically pleasing, well organized with a staff exhibiting a sense of comradery amongst staff members. I was greeted by Sonia and Rahme who were efficient and knowledgeable and able to answer all my concerns.The check in process was seamless and the wait was minimal. My insurance had already been verified prior to my appointment so I would know what to expect. Having worked in the medical field myself, I can appreciate excellent customer service and the front desk focused on patience, empathy, active listening, and attention to detail. They were professional, knowledgeable and compassionate and excelled at their positions. My hygienist Krystal treated me as if I were her only patient. She spent time educating me on proper oral hygiene techniques, explained each step she was performing, and thoroughly explained my post- op care. Throughout the process, she provided continuous comfort and reassurance and answered all my questions. Dr Azzam was a breath of fresh air. She communicated effectively presenting all my options, focused on preventive care and offered transparent pricing which was important to me as I have limited benefits on a Medicare Advantage plan. She understood my needs and preferences. Dr. Azzam treated me with respect, kindness and empathy. She even followed up with me the next day to check my status. She didn't push any unnecessary or expensive treatments on me. The entire office was punctual and considerate of my time and budget. I'm not a fan of going to the dentist but am delighted that I found Radiant Smiles for my current and future dental needs. Customers Beware!! Radiant Smiles was stealing large amounts of money. Fired office manager Nick was double billing patients and insurance companies for years. Others may have been involved....Doctor Lipman looked like a " deer in headlights " when the scam was discovered. They also are not great in other ways..... The older dental hygienist tasked with cleaning teeth does a poor job. She is very quick, lazy and definitely does the minimum. She should do her job with some detail or retirement would help everyone. Dr. Ruiz, some of your employees have discredited your practice. What do you have to say?? The office manger and Tina forced me to pay extra for procedures I didn't need. Nick refused to except me as a new patient unless I paid hundreds of dollars- extortion. Where is Nick?? Some folks want to interview him. Anything to say Dr. Adrian Ruiz? You should respond to serious allegations against your practice. The regulators have been contacted. Dr. Lavado did an amazing job taking out my wisdom teeth. I was very nervous and anxious, but with the help of Chelsea the assistant, they both helped make this experience not feel as uncomfortable and painful as I anticipated. So confused. Was sent here by my dentist cause it's in network. And came in as a new patient. They did X-rays and then started in on how I need all these other treatments. I came in for a cleaning and X-rays. Then they said if I want a cleaning I have to get the "deep" cleaning and it was gonna be 600 dollars out of pocket.... Umm no. You're in network! So they they decided not to do a cleaning at all because I guess it's a deep cleaning or no cleaning and with that they sent me on my way! What the actual fuck. Update. Called Nevada dental they said for a deep cleaning it wouldn't have been more than 80 dollars out of pocket. And she doesn't know where they got their numbers from. So here I am confused, and took time off work for nothing. read more

Had a GREAT time here. It's rare to have a "great" time at the dentist, but the entire staff is just SO lovely. They're hilarious and super accommodating. Dr. Azzam is PHENOMENAL. She's so professional and she did an excellent job. I'm so happy I found her as my dentist. Maria, her assistant, was also amazing!!
