Pizza is not my favorite thing in Arkansas. When some friends mention pizza, they're not talking about Piro's style of pizza. Piro's pizza is luxury pizza; it's fresh; it's pretty light, and it is flavorful! We had the Funghi pizza. I am a sucker for mushroom pizza, and this one is great. If you're a big fan of thick crust, this may not be your spot--or you may be able to ask for a thick crust. I LOVE thin crust, so this is my type of pizza spot! They also have beer, wine, and a full bar. I love my wine--spent 8 years living in Sonoma County and making hobby wine. I am a big fan of the draft Pinot Noir. Yep, I said it. It's a draft wine! And, I love it! I ordered two! We also had the Primavera salad, which is a tasty combination of arugula, green apples, walnuts, and Parmesan. Although we loved just about everything, I will point out that the Apple Angel is a pretty bitter drink. I did not order it--only tasted someone else's. I would imagine a bit more apple for the name. It's a great sipping drink without food, I think. I like the space too. It's one big open room. I'm such a fan of sitting at bar tables because I feel like I'm where the action's at. They were also playing jeopardy on TV, which isn't as bad as some places who have TV. I can deal with jeopardy. Enjoy! read more

Oh man... Some places just leave you walking out the door practically skipping - and when we stepped out the door from our late lunch, it was pouring down rain, which magically did nothing to dampen our spirits! So here's the skinny- You've got wines on tap, beers on tap (mostly regional, but one or two AR brews) or in bottles, and a short, fun cocktail list that's well worthy of a look. There's also a quick dessert list, and some delicious looking sandwiches and appetizers. It's a fancier place, but the prices are excellent for what you get. Seating seems just as good at the bar or the tables, but we opted for the tables for a more relaxed lunch. It's on the loud side, between a lot of cheerful patrons and the music, but in a very up-beat, casual way that never bothered either of us. The big selling food is the brick oven pizza (crispy, thin crust), but we also really enjoyed our salad (the arugula one, I don't remember the name). We split that salad and a Funghi (mushroom/white sauce) pizza that were both excellent and plenty for two! But, it was a whole experience that we enjoyed. Right upon walking in the door we were greeted, and placed at one of the tables quickly, had a blast looking at both the food and drinks menus, and had a near-magical experience of getting whatever we ordered almost instantly. I mean, really, the salad took all of a minute to get from our order to the table! Granted, it was on the quiet side when we came in, and service slowed a little bit by the time we left (and the place was totally packed), but it was still very quickly and friendly service. Our server, Kelsey, had a big part in making it so much fun - she freely admitted to not being a wine drinker, but was still able to recommend several options that were just what my wife was looking for (and that is not easy!) she also was very good at recommending items off the menu that would suit us, and she was crazy-fast at getting whatever we asked for. All in all, a really wonderful experience! **Notes on the Brunch- decent price point (aprticularly on the pizza), good food, the Shrimp & Grits is a little small, but very good. The Frittata was also very good, as was the side salad. The drinks menu is shockingly missing Bloody Marys, but I'm sure they can still make 'em. When we went it was reasonably full, so I'd expect to have to fight a little bit for a table. read more

If yelp allowed, 3.5 stars would be more accurate. I love the location and decor of Piro! Very trendy, but still laid-back. The bar was finished amazingly well! I didn't try any of the beers this visit, but they seemed to have an interesting selection with fair prices. We started with a side of meatballs. The flavor was great. I believe we received 6 meatballs for $8; pricey, but most appetizers are. We also tried their sriracha style pizza. The combination of toppings was good and flavorful, yet the pizza was a tad overcooked. The bottom and edges were actually charred to the point of being inedible in certain spots. Pizza was $18, and was a seasonal item (not listed on the menu.) The cannoli dessert was awesome! In Italy, the cannolis were divine. These were pretty darn close. Handmade, with unique combinations such as orange chocolate and honey pistachio. You receive one of each for $7, which I felt was fair. Our waitress was super sweet and informative. The food here is very good. Fresh ingredients, tasty, nice presentation. The Date Night salad is a favorite. They will split it for you if you and a friend want to share a salad and pizza. Pizza has always been good every time I've been. It seems a little pricey for the size but it's gourmet type pizza. Ambiance is modern and cool. When crowded it is loud due to hard floors and tall ceilings. It seems there are MANY restaurants in Little Rock like this. Would be nice if they could put in some kind of soundproofing. Had the Portobello sandwich on Foccacia...Excellent...went back and had it again the next day, then brought my mom to have it the same week. Roasted peppers, big juicy portobello mushroom, provolone, pesto....so good. The Foccacia bread just makes this. Comes with a side salad...has to be local greens! The lemon vinaigrette is perfect on them. Also had the caprese salad...thought it would be layered but came out different than expected...but again with local greens and local tomatoes...and fresh mozzarella...fantastic. This place was pretty interesting. The layout and decor were really nice and overall the atmosphere was really enjoyable. We hit this spot on a Wednesday night because the original destination turned out to be closed, for some odd reason. Raduno came recommended from a friend, so our group tried it out. Awesome pizzas all around. The table had a mix of pepperoni & sausage, the fungi pizza, and the Quattro. A good wine selection and an expected vast beer selection made for easy beverage choices. So why only 4 stars? Two things: the sign is hard to see, even harder to read, and the dirty martini was a waste of vodka. Both of these I rack up to me getting older and not being in the "in crowd" anymore. The sign on the front is really covered by the trees, so it's tough to see from the street. When you do catch it it will look like this: RAD UNO Again, I think that my dislike of the sign's font and design to me becoming a geezer. About that martini... We love dirty, vodka martinis. We love Grey Goose. Their dirty martini was probably made with sweet vermouth and kalamata olive juice (as it was served with kalamata olives), but that's just a guess on my part. The martinis we had were bad. We didn't send them back, or make the staff aware, so they didn't have the chance to fix it. I am hopeful that if I ask for a traditional martini they will make that. If I could give them a zero star I would've. In order to have pizza delivered you have to order through Waitr app. Downloaded and then order 2 pizzas for delivery. Ordered at 6:45 delivered at 7:30 was told by Erica it was picked up at 7:20. The restaurant is .3 miles away. It was delivered ICE cold!! Called and Erica blames the delivery service and wouldn't correct it. I said it's not the delivery service problem. A pizza can't get ice cold in 10 minutes. Nothing..... crickets. Stopped here with 15 minutes left for the brunch menu. We ordered the biscuits and gravy and it was one of the best in Little Rock. We also had the Zappoles, which were basically a fried dough ball. We arrived at 2pm on a Sunday for a meal with family. There were several large tables available at the front of the restaurant but they made us wait 10-15 minutes before seating us in the back at a table in a corner near the restrooms. The server came to take our drink order when we were clearly missing some members of our party. (We had just driven there from Nashville.) The waiter did not return until we flagged him down 15 minutes later. (There was only one other large party.) We all ordered pizza and 4 out of 5 were good. I had the pizza with eggs and prosciutto or pancetta and the meat was burned. The arugula and beets salad was great. Unfortunately it took 40 minutes for the pizzas to come out. They closed at 3pm so we then felt rushed. Had to flag down the waiter again for the check. We talked to the manager about the slow service before we left. He said they were short staffed in the kitchen. We understand these are tough times and wish this simply would have been communicated to us sooner. We could have ordered some appetizers to avoid being hangry. We would give this restaurant another shot if we are ever back in Little Rock. read more

I place an order to go for a pizza due to the high volume of great reviews maybe for everyone else but not for me. The brick oven joints always have produced great pizza as did this place yet their fault came at service yes on a to go order. The host of the place that night reminded me of that kid from the the 90's show his line was "did I do that". You know the one with the big glasses. Ok, he proceeds to hold my cash in his had as my pizza is sitting in the box getting cold and he tries to find a table for a party of six that that made reservations a week ago. They stood by for three minutes and then left with out his knowledge. He looks up at me asking can I help you yes I say get me my change he says I will I am helping some one else. Raduno! Wow, I had never been to this place but it has blown me away the last two times I've been. Great pizza (expensive, but good quality artisan pizza)-- with a crispy charred crust. Note: if you don't like charred and almost burned crust you won't like it much. Not in a bad way: it's just high temperature, wood oven pizza. It's great, but if you're expecting NY-style foldable chewy pizza then you'll be disappointed. I like their Salsiccia: it has lots of flavorful fennel sausage and pappadew (sweet red pepper) that balances and provides a unique sweet pop to the spicy sausage. Also, the Ham-cetta is good: pancetta from Hillcrest Artisan Meats, three sunny side up eggs, and arugula. There is no sauce base, but there is plenty of flavor from the spices and pancetta/egg combo. Also a great value for lunch-- $10 for a 6" pizza, small house salad and a soda/tea. Fast, filling, and affordable. Solid draft list between $5-8 and rotating special cocktails. The space is really trendy... It's something you'd see in a hipster part of Charleston, SC, SF, or Portland. If you haven't been yet, it's definitely worth a shot. The best pizza in LR. Just know if you're expecting dive bar style, cheap pizza with tons of quantity, you'll be disappointed. This is a higher-quality, neat ambience spot with good ingredients. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but should've listened to the reviews before coming here and saved some poorly-spent money. The food is overpriced for what you get. $14 for a margherita, $15 for a pepperoni, and it only goes up from there, plus the pizzas are quite small. So many better pizzas to be had for that price. They are nickel and diming the customers - my wife got a large salad, and I am convinced after seeing the small salad, the amount of food/lettuce is the same, but the size of the bowl is the only thing that differs. She also paid $5 for added shrimp, only to see 4 shrimp. $1.25 per shrimp? Asinine. The only upside to this meal was that the ambiance and atmosphere was nice, and their beer menu offers a lot of options. I am certainly not one to skimp on paying for a good meal, but this is not worth your time or hard earned money. read more

3 of use ate for Sunday brunch. Service was very slow to take order and the mimosa that was ordered had to be asked for again. Had the meatballs with polenta and the meatballs were dry the polenta had NO flavor (wondering why even in the bowl). Also had 2 of the pizza one had basil that was burnt and the sauce had mad the crust soup and uneatable! Came here for a dinner party with coworkers. The food was just ok, the service was less than par. Being my first time maybe I didn't know how or what to order. Other tables had breads but we were never told we had to order it. The pizza was small and didn't have a lot of flavor. The atmosphere and decor are neat. A bright, neighborhood gathering place. Something like it decor and atmosphere-wise is needed in Argenta. The house salad was simple but good. The oregano dressing was great. The pizza crust was excellent. But the rest of the pizza fell short. Where there was actual mozzarella was great (and it was real not the processed stuff) but it was sparse. So was the basil. The chicken on it was also sparse and didn't have any taste. It was more like a large crust with sauce. Service was excellent. Just wish the food options were better. I could never bring picky eaters or my older kids here. I brought my mother here for her birthday. We really enjoyed the food, and we have a lot of great options for pizza in Little Rock. This is a great addition to the rapidly growing South Main St. District, and I'm glad to have these guys in town. The pizza, appetizers, salad, and beer choice were all 5-star excellent. The restaurant is very noisy, I'm afraid. If there's a loud party sitting anywhere in the restaurant, you practically have to yell yourself to be heard at your own table, but I don't think that's something that can be helped based on the layout of the restaurant. Just a warning. This would be a great date location, but don't expect subdued or romantic. I do have one large complaint, which would have irked me enough to dock two stars if the food weren't so superlative. We had about a 30 minute wait for a table, so I attempted to get a couple of drinks from the bar. Though there were only about 4 or 5 people sitting there, the bartender spent five to six minutes refusing to acknowledge me, though he looked directly at me multiple times and was not otherwise busy. I didn't address him to get his attention, because I was standing four feet in front of him with my wallet in my hands looking right at him, and I wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something incorrectly. Eventually I waved at him a couple of times, but he looked right through me as though he couldn't be bothered. Then I began speaking to some friends at the bar, and I told them I was attempting to get a beer while we waited. He heard this and still deliberately ignored me. This fellow was simply rude and inattentive. Eventually a waiter came to fulfill a drink order for his table, saw I was trying to order a drink, and he served me. Still no apologies or acknowledgement from the bartender, who remained available and five feet away. This would have been unacceptable in a packed house, but it was only moderately crowded, and the bar was not busy. It was very odd. Still, I'll go back there, but if the bartender acts like this toward me again, I will confront the management about his rudeness. There are plenty of people in this city that would love to have a job at a great restaurant and could treat people with a bare minimum of customer service. read more

This was our first time here. Food, drinks and atmosphere were 5 star!!! Service was 6 stars. Our waitress hand made Bleu cheese and jalapeño olives for our martinis.
