Guest service from Alexa the terrible guest entry agent who is above the law from California law she refuses to provide receipt upon entry this leads me to believe that they are misrepresenting the amount of cash that comes in through the business and embezzling funds. They cannot provide records of any finance transactions I wouldn't be surprised if they did some other funny business. I would not return and not recommend to any LGBTQ+ community.

Went for the first time recently for someone's birthday. Everyone in our group were salsa dancers. Our whole group loved the vibe, most in my group are regulars for their bachata/salsa nights. I don't know if it was the night or what, but there was a good amount of people there but not so many that it was packed and difficult to dance which I appreciated. Charlie, the MC/host of the night who also normally DJs was great!! The night we attended, there was a live a band so that was also great. Bartenders were easy to grab, they made drinks fast and not a long line for the bathroom, ladies! It may have been my first time there but I'll definitely be going back again for future Thursdays!

We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday and we had a blast. The music was so good and we danced all night! Bottle service girl was very attentive and friendly. They took great care of us! Thank you so much for such a fun night!

Music was an odd mix, more latin reggaton. But some hip hop and edm. But mostly do not park in that garage next door. It closes at 12. Most people will miss the sign as told by the parking attendant. When there are obviously places around that are open later than that.

Wowwwww just perfect, nothing to add. I had my son Bar MITZVA, the place the owner the service was amazing. Highly recommend

Really disappointed. Went last night and no one was dancing. Boring music. Boring crowd. This place used to be fun.

The rather hidden front door (the restaurant has no signage--so it's a secret--known by those in-the-know (and now you). The bar is dark and charming--feels like an English country home. That leads into a beautifully lit library bar lounge. The indoor/outdoor dining room is gorgeous: evoking a classic European courtyard. The open-air courtyard is surrounded by arched seating areas, each with curtains you can close for privacy. We arrived at 7:30 with the sunset's warm light entering through the open ceiling. As the sky got darker, the room took on a glow from the string lights, candles in niches, and central fireplace. The waiter was charming and friendly, and brought complimentary aperitifs of Luca Bosio Brachetto Rosso Semi Sweet wine. My friends who drink wine loved it and are ordering bottles for home. I don't like wine myself--but I still loved this because it was like a most delicious sweet lightly fizzy grape juice. We shared a cheese board which had a variety of fine cheeses and sweet grapes, honeycomb, dates, dried apricots and almonds. My friends shared the Mushroom Pappardelle--a rich, creamy mushroom sauce on wide delicate noodles. Excellent. I ordered the Steak Frites, 8 oz filet mignon, green beans, creamy peppercorn sauce, and garlic fries. *This was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten* --and my friends agreed. So tender I hardly needed a knife. And the sauce was savory perfection. Even the fries were delicate, crispy outside. The portions are large--I took about 1/3 of my steak and frites home, and my friends took enough pasta home for another meal. Since it was a special occasion, we ordered the Le Petit Gateau, a dark, rich, moist chocolate cake with golden candied wild cherries. So chocolatey, not too sweet--the hint of cherries made it very special. We each had at least one piece (OK, I had two) and there was still half a cake to take home! Firefly is truly special. But not just for special occasions--because once you've discovered it you'll want to eat there again soon.

Firefly relies heavily on presentation. The entry, tucked away behind shrubbery with a hidden door…read morefeel, sets a clear expectation before you even sit down. It works. There's a deliberate sense of discovery to it that gives the place character. The main issue is access. Parking is limited and inconvenient. It feels designed more for rideshare drop-off or a bar-centric crowd than for people arriving on their own to sit down for dinner. If you're coming with friends for a relaxed meal, you should assume you'll either be circling for a spot or paying for valet. The food and drinks are fine, but not the reason to come. Prices sit noticeably above what the execution justifies, especially when compared to similar spots in the area. It's not bad, just not aligned with value. What Firefly does well is atmosphere. The lighting, layout, and hidden-garden concept create a mood that carries most of the experience. You don't come here chasing culinary excellence. You come because the space feels different from everything around it. It delivers on that promise. Just not much beyond it.

Echoing what everyone else has been saying - the service is SO slow. It was about 45 minutes before we were able to order our second drink and our water glasses were empty. They have so many runners bringing the drinks out but only a few servers and, from the looks of it, one bartender (on a Saturday night - what?!). The server was saying he was trying to find a manager to help out but they were nowhere to be found. Clearly management is fine with these service times since they're still making $$$. The drinks were delicious, and I loved that there were heaters on the patio (though they did get very hot at times). Our server was so kind and brought us a celebratory drink. I do wish there were more explanations with the beverages, especially for the Paid Vacation as most people will not realize you're supposed to bite into the buzz button for the tingly sensation. I would come back, but need some time for my wallet to recover first, haha!

It's a restaurant with an overall speakeasy vibe BUT is not dark and foreboding. Rather, its high ceilings, well spaced out tables, and appropriately lit dining/bar space has a welcoming, cool vibe! And the music to fill the space before the live music was well, my kinda music - vibey 80s/90s hip hop. On top of that, the STAFF - the folks we met on a Monday (senior citizen hour) night were incredibly kind and attentive. We did stay through the first set of musicians that performed and it was great. Loud, but not loud enough that me and my friend couldn't still talk. Now onto the food. A nice surprise, considering this is a music joint! That bread was solid. The side portions decent - mushrooms and broccoli were fine. The steak was a generous size, cooked appropriately medium rare, and came with a unique side of bone marrow salsa. That was a nice, interesting touch. Was it the BEST food I've ever had? Not exactly, BUT it was the best food as part of a music joint, in the Valley. So the 5 star rating is really for the OVERALL experience.

We tend to pick out every little detail, everything out of place, every miscalculation and any mistake. I couldn't find one tonight. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with smiles and warm energy. An energetic room (at 5:45pm) and a stage set. I've heard great things, I've anticipated this for months. Going into anything with high hopes is always a risk. But I felt at ease within moments. First cocktail at the bar... quick service, tasty drink, what else do you need? Sat... Somm, server and commis de rang all touched the table within a couple of minutes. I tend to spend too much time looking at menus and this wine list set me up for an adventure. Page after page of stellar picks at prices you won't find at restaurants of this caliber. Value after value! We settled on a fun Italian white, Chardonnay with Nebbiolo... yes a white with Nebbiolo. Oh how it worked with the food.. Oysters and Sashimi... Crudo... Apple Salad... Each delivering multidimensional flavors and textures. Peru meets Japan meets Cali farm to table. The pace and timing of each course perfectly delivered. As we moved into our... Croquettes... I was genuinely speechless. How did these taste like the enchiladas I grew up with? Chicken confit, burnt tomatoes, grana padano salsa pepian... It worked with the wine in my glass. I could have spent the entire evening dabbling with the raw menu and starters but it was time for something more... Risotto... is never to be missed. You should always judge a restaurant serving Italian food based on a few things.... A pepperoni pizza. Their "fresh bread" The level of cook on their pasta And.... How they cook their risotto. This made the table go silent. You really just need to try it.. Dinner wrapped up with an Olive Oil Cake and a glass of Takaji and this may have been the perfect pairing to end the night... fresh, uplifting and harmonious in every way. This was long and poetic but the bottom line is that this place is worth visiting regularly. There were a dozen things on the menu that we missed that looked good.
