Exceptional service! The Dr. is caring and comforting. We had to unfortunately lay my 12yr old pitbull Poppa to rest due to cancer last year and thanks to Rainbow Bridge Vet Services the super painful experience was made just a little lighter. I couldn't see myself taking my dog to the vet to be euthanized. He hated the vet clinics, always had bad experiences there. I'm glad I found this service. The Dr. came out to our home and made Poppa feel comfortable and let us say our goodbyes. We never felt rushed. He even made a clay paw print for us to cherish. Thank you so much!

He offered to take a paw print of my kitty with clay. Very appreciative

So respectful and kind during a difficult time. Explained everything before it happened and excused himself so I could cry with my kitty. Even offered to take a paw print in clay of my kitty. Wonderful keepsake and appreciate it so much. Strongly recommend if you ever need to say goodbye to a pet. Thank you.

Words cannot express my gratitude. 2 weeks ago we put our sweet girl to rest. It was one of the hardest decisions we have ever made. As she laid in the cool grass with sunshine on her face she fell asleep for the last time held by us telling her what a good and pretty girl she was and we would see her again someday. Our hearts hurt and her loss is still felt immensely but I take comfort that her last moments were peaceful and calm in our arms at home surrounded by love.

My family has used Anthony quite a few times with letting our dogs go. He is extremely compassionate in the way he handles what was the saddest day of my life in letting my Romo go.. It is without doubt the most peaceful way to let go of your beloved pet. I've always felt that bringing your pet to the vet is stressful and being around strangers in their last moments is not the way I wanted his last moments here to be. I cant thank Rainbow Bridge Vet Services and Anthony enough in helping my familiy with our beloved Romo's last moments with us.. Our family thanks this amazing angel for helping us thru this difficult time.

I was so glad to find Dr. Smith when it was finally time to say goodbye to my senior kitty, PC. Losing a pet is always difficult, but during quarantine it's extra tough as having a pet to share that time with is such a comfort. PC had a really good life. He showed up on my porch in 2003 and he's been with me ever since. He was probably over 20 and lived each day like a teenager. He loved getting into a good cat scrap and even tried to take on the neighbor's cat a few weeks before his passing. Way to go, PC! He was loads of fun, super friendly and helped me through a lot of tough times. To start, Dr. Smith has his calendar available for clients which made it easy to schedule the appointment. Right away, that helped take some of the stress off. His email communications and instructions were clear, and most of the information is also on his website. He showed up promptly when he said he would. At 12 pm he was on my front porch in a mask and scrubs, and I directed him to the backyard where he'd do the procedure. PC loved spending time sunning himself in the yard, so for this to be his final surroundings was perfect. I won't go into detail, but the procedure was quick, simple and peaceful. I got to hold PC in my lap, giving him lots of pets and telling him how much joy he had brought me these past 17 years. Dr. Smith stood back and was respectful to give me a much time and space as I needed to say goodbye. While I couldn't see his expression through the mask, I think he got a little emotional as well. Even covered up in a face mask, his compassion shone through. I wish I could have given him the big hug he deserved. Dr. Smith works with Pets at Peace in San Ramon for cremation services. They were equally as kind and compassionate. I opted to pick up PC's ashes and they presented them in a beautiful box with his initials engraved on a small plaque. Included was a lovely notecard and the Rainbow Bridge poem. I can't thank Dr. Smith and Pets at Peace enough for their work and wouldn't hesitate to call them for when it's time for your pet to cross the Rainbow Bridge.

There are no words to truly describe the invaluable service Dr. Anthony Smith provides. In the height of our grief, he came and helped relieve some of the pain by taking care of our beloved Brookie in her final hour. It was so peaceful for her and she got to be home with everyone she loved. Dr. Anthony Smith was respectful of our time with Brookie. He was kind and compassionate. We will never forget him and the work he does. He's a truly special human being.

She was diligent about ensuring Roxy's vaccinations were up to date and medications were always current. As she grew older Roxy developed serious health problems like arthritis in many joints, and asthma. She needed regular injections, inhaler treatments, and frequent medications. As Roxy's conditions worsened over the years, the clinic staff taught us how to care for her ourselves, at home. We learned how to give Roxy injections, properly use her inhaler, even administer subcutaneous fluids. It was scary at first, but eventually we got the hang of it. Dr. Fernandez always made a detailed treatment plan. Her proactive and caring approach made a big difference in Roxy's quality of life. She also told us signs of the progression of Roxy's condition. She taught us what to look for, so we could prepare ourselves to make a humane decision. Her guidelines helped us decide when the right time came for Roxy. Because of Dr. Fernandez and her clinic, we actually got to have much more time with our Roxy than we expected! Thank you, Dr. Fernandez!

I came here on a recommendation from my usual vet who were out of availability and boy am I glad. Dr. K was wonderful, empathetic, sweet, and very detailed in her care of my cat. She understood how to approach to my little scaredy cat and did what she could to avoid any further stress. She answered my questions, provided me with important information, and we were on our way! I also want to say thanks to the front office and the vet techs. The place seemed very busy and it seemed they were all working everywhere all at once and even then they were prompt and polite. Although I would happily pay anything to make sure my cat is okay, I can't deny I was thinking about what it would cost since it's an urgent care vet, but I found the price fair and, at least for me, affordable. I would recommend anyone who is looking up the reviews to feel ease when considering Urgent Pet.

The establishment was clean and welcoming. The receptionist was professional. The exam was quick. They make you leave the room to pay the invoice while they prep the pet. They dont have laminated paper to show you the urns available....they make you go behind the desk and look at their screen and chose while there are people with their pets waiting.... awkward. Then, instead of taking you to a different area away from people and thier pets... they make you sit with them. My emotions seeing pets and owners leave together made me so sad and holding on to tears was so hard. They let you have as much alone time with your pet before they put them down. The process was fast but the vet was kind and nice with his words. They offered for me to stay for a while after. I had to leave the room, a crying mess... crossing all the people in the receptionist area to leave. My dog came back a week later. I guess you get what you pay for?
