There's guest eating inside and a worker sitting down talking to someone else but doors are locked. Worked proceeded to laugh when he saw another guest and myself attempt to open the doors. I am updating my review. Our family has always loved Cane's, but lately the experience has been disappointing. The last time we went, the chicken just didn't taste right--it had an odd, almost "fake" flavor. We decided to give it another try, ordering two kids meals, but weren't told they were out of the kids meal bags and toys until after we picked up the food. I had eaten at a Raising Cane's only once before in Casa Grande, AZ years ago. Then I kept reading my friend Ruchika's raving reviews of them in Texas and decided to stop in for dinner. I was not disappointed. We selected to partake of the drive thru so this review is of the food only. But I will say their drive thru is fast, way faster than the bigger fast food chains. Upon opening the box I was greeted with my favorite french fries, crinkle style! There's just something about these fries that make them so much better than ordinary "straight" fries. I love them! And their ketchup is the "double" style packet where you can squeeze the ketchup out one end or open the whole container and use it as a dipping tray. I can't think of any other place except In-N-Out that specializes in a one item menu, their's being burgers only. Raising Cane's menu is chicken only so if that's what you are going to do then you better do it right. And RC does it right! Perfect little tenders that are very moist and perfectly breaded. Add a perfect size sampling of their coleslaw and a good size piece of Texas Toast and Ruchika is right. RC's combo box is the bomb! read more

This is a very busy location of Raising Canes. The service is sometimes slow. Most customers use the drive-through or doordash.

Canes is one of my favorite fast food places but this location is not a good location. Sometimes it can be crispy and then other times it's just soggy and it just feels nasty. If it's not soggy it's usually pretty good. But if it's soggy it's just nasty. The sweet tea is usually always good here. The inside is also not very clean so I usually go through the drive through. The service is always great. This is definitely not the best location in Lexington but it is still not that bad. read more

Pest control, my daughter wanted Cane's for her birthday so we went and sat inside and ate. Upon arriving home, a bedbug was on her shirt and bit her on the neck. I hope this issue gets resolved quickly and promptly as it's a very serious issue. I won't be returning to this restaurant. read more

This was my first visit here and probably my last the food was fresh and the service was fast and efficient my only complaint is the chicken was bland asf! I understand you have to clean after the lunch rush. My issue is that this sign does not indicate a return time? Am I one minute into closure? Am I 28 minutes into closure. You must like chicken tenders to like this place. I love chicken, but buffalo chicken has my heart and there isn't any buffalo sauce in sight. I'm on the hate side, my daughter could literally drink the stuff. She's actually the reason I bumped my 3 and a half star rating up to a four. She loves this place. Canes and Zaxbys are very similar, except Zaxbys has more options. For example, Zaxbys has several salad options. There isn't a piece of lettuce in sight at Canes. I will say, that the toast at Canes blows Zaxbys toast out of the water, hands down. So, it's a close comparison between the two places I've been been here a few times, but Friday it was my daughter's choice to pick a place to meet half way, between our work places. I had the four piece tender meal. The three piece meal that she had didn't come with a side of cole slaw, but my four piece did. The sauce was pretty good but i dropped in some tabasco sauce when i got home for a kick up. The garlic bread was decent. It was the Box Combo that I got but im still quite hungry after eating it and am now sad that I didnt get some cajun, or another "local cooked" "in your face its so good restaurant".. Read some of my other reviews if you want to know what im talking about. Really this is either a place your really going to like for the sauces and chicken or not. It really wasn't that bad but for someplace that does nothing but chicken its not really that impressive either. In the same area there is KFC and Chick Filet.. What can I say about Raisin' Canes? The sweet tea and lemonade is sweetened into oblivion - just like I like it. Chicken strips are always perfectly cooked and crispy - just the right amount of grease. The fries are that nice crinkle-cut - they could use a little more salt in my opinion, but hey, you've got the sauce. Oh the sauce... I don't know how to describe it. Sweet, salty, savory, just a hint of spice, it's got a great unctuous-mess that's really hard to put your finger on. But you can put your finger in it. Although it tastes better on chicken. Also, fries. I have always found it odd that there's such a limited menu here with so few choices. Finally got to try out this place. Heard their chicken tenders were fresh and never frozen. So I ordered the kids meal (on my diet day). I was quite surprised the tenders were so small, but at least they tasted delicious. The special sauce to dip them in was perfect. I even dipped the fries in there too (diet is a way of eating). The bread they serve with it was soooo delicious. I admit bread is like dessert to me. I even sweet talked my friend into giving me some of theirs (ok, diet blown). Every time I've come it's been as fresh as it gets. Their namesake fried chicken fingers are absolutely the best. While not incredibly tasty on their own, they are the perfect combination or crispy and juicy. The game changer with Raising Cane's is absolutely their sauce though. It's a creamy pepper sauce that keeps them from being just another chicken place. They are a little bit stingy with the sauce. That said, if it was unlimited people would be walking out with gallons of it- it's that good. I would like if they had just a bit more though. I've had the box combo on several occasions. You can substitute coleslaw for bread or extra fries. Their lemonade is also excellent, though very sweet in comparison to a more tart lemonade like Chick-Fil-A. It is hard to get away with spending a less than $7-8 here, as a general rule, but you can split meals as there is more than enough food for a typical meal. read more

When I tried to ask for the things that I was missing, the window eS already closed and I had to go back inside to grab my needs! A drive through disaster! We all have our weaknesses. Mine is canes sauce. I have a canes craving about once a week and have to fight myself from going. If I let myself go every time I wanted it I'd be a million pounds. I am giving this place five stars keeping in mind that it is a fast food restaurant, so cleanliness, employees, and even on rare occasions the tenderness of the chicken is not the best. But considering that it is a fast food restaurant, I think they do pretty freakin good. read more

Chick-fil-A across the street had cars wrapped around the building so I decided to give Raising Cane's a try. I must say I will wait for Chick-fil-A next time.
