This was my first time trying Raising Cane's, and overall, it was okay. My dad and I stopped by because he was hungry and we decided to share The Box Combo, which comes with four chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Cane's Sauce, Texas toast, coleslaw, and a regular drink. We swapped the coleslaw for an extra serving of fries. The chicken was hot, crispy, and cooked well. That said, I do not typically eat fried or fast food, so after a few hours my body definitely reminded me why; not something I could eat often. Since this location is at Universal CityWalk, keep in mind that parking can be expensive. We chose to park elsewhere and walk over since we were only there for about 30-45 minutes to eat. The restaurant was incredibly busy, which is expected given the steady flow of tourists and Universal guests. Finding a table took a little patience and I do think they could benefit from adding more seating to accommodate the crowds. Overall, it was a decent first experience. If one is already visiting CityWalk and craving crispy chicken fingers, maybe stop by just be prepared for a busy dining room during peak hours. I love having a Canes on CityWalk! Whenever I visit the theme park, it's nice to know I have something quick and easy to eat when I leave because the park food sucks! Canes provides a consistent, reasonably priced option. Service here is very quick. The food always comes out hot and fresh. I know because they tell me when they call out my name! ; ) There is indoor seating but it can be noisy. There is some outdoor seating as well. If seats are all taken you can take your food to the food court on Citywalk upstairs. read more

Decided to grab some food at CityWalk before heading into the park. The seating inside is a bit odd, there are single/double tables around the center piece which has "booth" type seating and regular chairs on the outer part. They had a few tables on the side against the wall and the rest are patio seating. They have ordering kiosks which is very convenient because they get very busy here. Food came out quick and they have your drinks with names on the side apart from the food for you to just pick up. Utensils and stuff are also on the side and very organized. Needed something cheap and fast before heading out to a movie. I wasn't too hungry and I knew we were probably going to eat afterwards so I grabbed a kids meal to tie me over. This size is perfect for an adult, especially if you don't want to get too full or carry around food in Citywalk. Crinkle fries are good- crispy and salty. Chicken tenders were seasoned well. Eating in can be slightly chaotic as the lights are blaring bright and it tends to have a lot of family packed in. I suggest going outside and to the second floor deck and eat there. They also have merchandise which I thought was interesting. I guess it would make sense because of all of the tourists. The people working there were really cool. You can either order in the kiosk or through their cashier. When I went they were fully-staffed regardless of the automation and i love seeing that. Universal City Walk is a great place to go when on vacation or before going into Universal Studios. The place is just adorable. It has cool stuff on the wall and it is very comfortable. It is clean. The service is excellent. They are fast and will take good care of you. It does not take long for your food and you can dine in, do that, or do take away. I think they also deliver. The chicken fingers and fries are just great. They are fresh tasting and big. The fries are ever so good. All of the food there is great. They don't have a huge menu which is nice. Generally canes is excellent but this canes might be the exception...the food tasted good however one of the chicken strips was not what I am use to receiving from them. It was very small (less than 1/2 of what they normally are. The service was quick with the staff being polite and helpful. The mood inside was upbeat and chill with everyone willing to assist. First time eating at Raising Cane's, a nice colorful Chicken strip place. I don't know where the name comes from, which left me thinking if it's the owner's name. Famous for their Chicken Strips which they call "CHICKEN FINGERS" with fries are so gooooood. They are made while you wait nice and fresh. It's a simple menu that sells. Don't expect for this location to be empty specially on a weekend. Overall lines do move fast and team is friendly. You can order at kiosk or get in line to order with team. The staff moved quick with taking people orders. Don't be fooled by the exterior because the interior is small. The island they have in the middle of the restaurant makes no sense whatsoever considering the registers are located right in front so the lines have to curve around the island. We ended up taking our food to-go since there were no seats available. I paid $43 for 2 Caniac Combos which is ridiculous. I pay less at any other Canes but I assume since it's in CityWalk the prices are jacked up. Chicken tenders were a bit on the soggy side compare to other locations. I had a very disappointing experience at Raising Cane's. While eating my meal, I found what appeared to be a clump of false eyelashes in my Cane's sauce. Naturally, I brought it to the attention of the staff because finding a foreign object in your food is concerning. What upset me most was how the situation was handled. The young dark-haired manager/team leader wearing a collared shirt was dismissive and made me feel like I was being accused of making it up rather than taking my concern seriously. Whether they believed the contamination, a customer reporting a foreign object in their food should be treated with respect and professionalism. I don't even wear fake eyelashes and it certainly didn't come from my husband. Mistakes can happen in any restaurant, but the way concerns are addressed matters. I left feeling frustrated, embarrassed, and disappointed by the lack of accountability.
